In an engineering family

For the last 10 days, Tri's face had turned into a scalene triangle.

Priya knew her brother liked geometry dash, but not this much. "If simple anatomy were violated, we're living in an illusion. But I'm thinking. No... My thinking is deceived." Priya muttered. "For all we know "I" might just be some computer virus." She sighed. "The point is, Tri hasn't gone outside in ten days."

  "Neither do you!" Tri refuted.

"Shut up!" Her mother yelled. "If you become an engineer, you can fix it!" Priya's mom yelled and hurled a metal plate. "Instead of the blah blah blah blah do something real! Build robots and win competitions! Don't become one of those!"

Priya recalled the wait at the emergency department. The doctor entered.

  "What's up." He asked.

Priya's mom felt annoyed that she had to explain such an obvious problem.

"Sorry?" The doctor asked, frowning at Priya's mom.

Priya's mom explained again, making gestures. "The triangle face, I'm worried."

"Is this a matter of mental health? What's wrong?" The doctor questioned.

"His face should not look like this." Priya reemphasized.

"Well then don't make it this." He asserted indifferently, looking at Tri, "You are almost a man now. Act like your age."

Meters away, he swore and complained to his colleague.

"(removed profanity) Their English smelled like curry. Do they think we're idiots? 'A triangle face developing since 2 days ago, difficulty breathing, sweating'..."
