Chapter 19: Quotes, jealousy and laughter

  The day dawned sunny and warm, perfect for a well-deserved rest. Aurora decided that the team would take a day off to relax before returning to intense training.

  "Let's go to the mall!" Azrat proposed, excited. We can eat, buy nonsense and see who loses first in the machines.

  "Sounds good..." Talión said, with a smile.

  The rest of the team agreed, and in less than an hour they were in the huge mall.

  Funny and funny scenes

  From the first moment, Azrat went into total chaos mode. In every store they entered, he tried weird things: he put on extravagant hats, tried to juggle balls in a toy store and almost knocked down a tower of stuffed animals trying to impress a group of girls.

  "Brother, if they arrest you, I promise to record everything." Talión joked, laughing.

  Talion swallowed saliva and turned red like a tomato.

  "Can you stop provoking your own boyfriend in public?!" Azrat shouted laughing.

  Aurora, who was watching the scene from afar, crossed her arms with a mischievous smile.

  The problem with Jocelyn... and the jealous monster named Luz

  While they were walking through the mall, Jocelyn decided to get closer to Talion.

  "Hey..." she said, touching his arm. I saw you training the other day... you're amazing.

  "Thank you..." Talión said, not noticing that Luz had turned around with a murderous look.

  Jocelyn got even closer, gently touching his shoulder.

  "Talion, how about one day we train together?" I can teach you some new techniques.

  Luz didn't take it anymore and appeared out of nowhere, placing herself between them like a wall.

  "Train together?" he said with a smile that clearly hid a threat. I didn't know you were so interested in our Talion.

  "Ours?" Jocelyn raised an eyebrow, confused.

  Luz put a hand on Talión's chest and smiled shamelessly.

  "Didn't you know?" Talion is mine.

  Talion turned so red that it looked like it was about to explode.

  "Luz, shut up!" Talion murmured, completely embarrassed.

  Jocelyn, although surprised, smiled playfully.

  "Oh... I see."

  Luz crossed her arms victoriously, while Talión covered his face.

  "Why are you like this?" Talión whispered.

  "Because someone had to mark the territory," Luz replied, with a charming smile.

  The change in Bruno

  While the group stopped to eat in the restaurant area, Bruno was more relaxed than usual. For the first time, he laughed freely with the rest of the team.

  "What's wrong with you?" You're happier than usual. -Azrat joked.

  "I don't know... I just... I feel good here." Bruno replied, smiling.

  "You took a long time, champion." Azrat said, patting him on the back.

  Bruno laughed and, for the first time, joined the group's jokes, really feeling part of something special.

  A special moment between Talión and Luz

  At the end of the day, the group decided to watch a movie at the mall's cinema. During the performance, Talión and Luz sat together in the last row.

  In the middle of the movie, Luz reloaded on Talion's shoulder and took his hand.

  "Do you know what's the best thing about all this?" Luz whispered.

  "What thing?"

  Luz intertwined her fingers with his.

  "That you don't have to hide anything anymore... not with me."

  Talion smiled slightly and kissed Luz's forehead.

  "Not with you... or with anyone."

  Back home, Aurora stopped in front of the door, watching Talión and Luz walk away together, holding hands without worrying about hiding it.

  "I knew it..." she murmured to herself, smiling.

  "What did you know?" Azrat asked, appearing behind her.

  Aurora smiled sideways.

  —That those two were destined for something big.

  Azrat smiled.

  "You mean the Olympics?"

  "No..." Aurora replied. I mean them... together.
