76 - Chest Loot

  "A one-star spear?"

Kira picked up the iron spear from the ground, a surge of joy filling her heart.

She knew Jason was lacking a proper weapon, forced to use a Wooden Spear. This one-star spear was perfect for him.

So Kira, spear in hand, turned and headed back to the RV.

As Kira boarded the RV, Chloe, armed with her Wooden Spear, stepped out.

The two women switched places for the second round.

  Inside the RV.

Ellie and Jenna immediately surrounded Kira, deeply impressed by her decisive actions.

Furthermore, Kira seemed utterly composed after killing someone, as if it wasn't her first time.

The truth was, Kira's ease stemmed from her time adapting to the zombie world.

She had slain countless zombies, so she felt no guilt.

The three women then went to the driver's seat, where Kira handed the one-star spear to Jason.

Jason accepted the iron spear without hesitation, examining it briefly.

[Spear] 1-Star Equipment: Offers a degree of armor penetration.

"Not bad. Finally, a decent weapon."

Who knew a chest battle would yield a one-star weapon? The opposing vehicle owner must be bleeding inside.

Jason knew that his opponent's heart was bleeding.

  A one-star equipment just vanished.

Setting the spear aside, Jason and the women continued to watch the crossroads.

At that moment, a man holding a Wooden Spear emerged from the heavy truck.

The man across was cautious, afraid to get close to Chloe, fearing he would follow in Luck's footsteps and get stabbed to death.

Howard sat inside the heavy truck, his eyes fixed on the crossroads.

He believed Luck had simply been careless and was caught off guard by Chloe.

This time, with caution in mind, wouldn't his followers be able to beat a woman?

Yet, as Howard thought this, he was shocked to see his follower standing still, like an idiot.

Then, he was easily impaled by the woman's spear.

  "What..."

Howard was speechless. Were his followers really this useless?

Even if they couldn't beat a woman, they should at least struggle before dying.

Even a pig being butchered struggles, but his follower didn't even do that?

Howard felt the scenery blur, the crossroads, Silver Chest, Ogre, and RV all vanished.

He was again facing a straight highway.

If not for the two missing people in the car, he would have thought he had just dreamt.

  On the other side.

Jason's crossroads had also vanished, but the Silver Chest and the two Ogres remained in the Wasteland.

The constraints of the rule were lifted, Jason led Kira and the women down from the RV, looking into the Wasteland.

Chloe, who had just killed someone, stood in place for a moment, then walked to Jason: "Hubby, I killed someone."

Jason nodded slightly, then asked Chloe, staring at her: "Do you feel any discomfort?"

Chloe shook her head, not answering, but looked at Jason with determination.

Whether it was Chloe or the other women, they all knew they would have to face combat and killing in Escape World sooner or later.

They had killed plenty of monsters, so how could killing a person affect them?

Seeing that Chloe wasn't affected, Jason was relieved. Then he looked at the four women:

"In a moment, Chloe and I will each lure away an Ogre. Kira, you go steal the chest. Ellie and Jenna, provide cover with crossbows from the road."

The Ogres were all D-Rank or above, with good strength, speed, and physique.

Their only weakness was low intelligence and Spirit.

So, luring away the Ogres to steal the chest was the easiest solution.

Even if Jason had the strength to kill the Ogres, there was no need to waste effort on them.

Hearing Jason's arrangement, the women's spirits lifted.

This was the first time Jason had led them to loot a chest, and it was much better than them making their own decisions and figuring out how to fight.

It was the difference between having a commander and not having one.

Soon, Jason and Chloe walked off the road, starting to lure away the two Ogres.

  In the Wasteland.

The two Ogres saw Jason and Chloe walking off the road, excitedly howled, then chased after Jason and Chloe respectively.

Ellie and Jenna immediately fired crossbow bolts. The Ogres were huge and didn't seem to dodge, so Ellie and Jenna actually hit them.

But the bolts seemed to have little effect on the Ogres, who continued to chase Jason and Chloe.

Jason and Chloe ran in opposite directions on either side of the road, trying to get as far away from the Silver Chest as possible.

Kira stood on the road, calculating the distance.

When the two Ogres had run far enough, Kira quickly dashed off the road, running towards the Silver Chest.

The two Ogres didn't care about the chest being stolen. All they saw was the food in front of them.

Kira ran to the chest, opened it, and grabbed the Blueprint inside, then ran back.

After Kira returned to the road, Jason and Chloe also returned, leaving the two Ogres howling in the Wasteland in anger.

After everyone returned to the RV, Kira shyly handed the Blueprint to Jason.

  Jason noticed Kira's unusual behavior.

What could make this sexy, wild beauty blush? This Blueprint must be something special.

[Simmons Double Bed]: Resting on the bed can increase the recovery speed of Physique, Spirit, and injuries.

  Blueprint Crafting Times: 1

  Crafting Cost: 2000 Escape Coins

Jason's eyes lit up after reading the Blueprint's information.

It could speed up the recovery of Physique, Spirit, and injuries, a very good item.

Jason held the Blueprint and smiled at Kira: "This Blueprint is good. Why are you blushing?"

Kira immediately retorted, saying she wasn't blushing.

Ellie and the other women also curiously checked what the Blueprint was, and then they understood why Kira was blushing.

Ellie hugged Jason's arm and asked coyly: "Jason, with this Blueprint, does that mean we won't have to squeeze together anymore?"

Jason naturally understood Ellie's intentions, so he asked: "The space in our RV isn't that big. Do you want to sleep in a separate bed?"

Ellie thought about it. The RV's space really wasn't that big. If they placed too many beds, there wouldn't be room to move.

"Then I'm relieved..." Ellie giggled, saying something strange.

Jason ignored Ellie and began to think about where to place the bed.

If he could get a bedroom Blueprint, he wouldn't have to worry about this problem.

But with the current space, placing too many double beds would leave no room to move around.

So Jason decided to only place two big beds in the RV.

So, Jason first put away the original ordinary double bed, then synthesized two double beds.

This Simmons Double Bed was noticeably larger than the ordinary double bed, occupying a lot of space.

To make good use of the space, Jason had to go against his conscience and put the two double beds together, forming an even bigger bed.

Then Jason looked at the time and found it was almost noon, so he decided to pick up Lily and the other women…
