001: ᛗᛖᛗᛟᚱᛁᛖᛊ

The flow of reality passing by you is always a unique experience and stepping out of it into an existing pne is as strange as it gets. But is a necessary occurrence when travelling to another universe, to be honest the other side is more of an important point than the path itself.

So, while exiting the portal that looks like a spsh of liquid ripping through the fabric of space and time, I brace myself for what lies ahead. With enough luck, nothing.

With my feet pnted on the ground as I take some distance from the portal, I scan my surroundings. Green fills my vision, the smell of morning dew and wet grass caresses my nose, wind blows on me carrying the essence of the pce where I find myself.

“Humm... air is strangely heavy for what is supposed to be a forest.” I say to myself.

I hear noises of insects and small animals in the trees and bushes but accompanying that comes a cacophony of distant noises that clearly do not belong to the green that surrounds me. Not as a surprise I hear steps behind me.

“Is this the right pce Id? It’s kind of strange.” I hear the familiar voice behind and turn. From the portal a woman approaches, a wolf by her side.

“It is, Fen nose rarely steers us into the wrong direction.” I expin looking to the wolf at her side.

  Growls*

It gives us a dispassionate growl as it is displeased at being doubted. The creature is smart, very so, a wolf bigger than most, graffiti colored fur wild but luscious, sharp cws almost covered with fur different from years ago, a testament of his full recovery. Caramel eyes shining with understanding and an iconic white patch of fur covering the left side of its face.

“Sorry Fen, not what I meant.” The woman looks at it apologetic.

Thrud, my companion, she is a warrior through and through. Standing taller than the average person with a toned body that was sculpt by training and battle. She has white skin adorned with tattoos that tells stories, her armor consists of sturdy pte of golden metal and leather that covers her wrist, breast and shin, offering enough protection and not impeding her mobility. Her fire-like hair is tied into braids to keep it on her back, but despite the attempt she can’t disguise its volume. Her blue eyes are expressive and despite looking apologetic it can’t hide her steel resolve.

Despite being a beauty, one does not seem often, what calls attention is the strange hammer on her waist, with its short handle, curved head and intricate design it looks ceremoniously, but do not be deceived, as it is a powerful weapon.

She looks at me, downward I ashamed to say, not my fault, she is in her te twenties and has a goddess body, a tall goddess, I on the other hand no older than 14 need to accept my child body.

Make no mistake though, I’m forged on battle as well, carrying the scars of a survivor. Never been the strong type because of my condition, but I dealt with situations few would.

My body is muscur, albeit on the lesser side, courtesy of the nature of my being, pale skin, bck eyes and bck hair that is wild and long enough to flow to my neck. Closer ones call me handsome, I must agree but try to not let it infte my ego.

Despite not being manly strong I proud myself in my intelligence and mastery of quite the ample spectrum of skills, including more esoteric ones.

Like Thrud I am using armor, but different from her, mine is mostly bck with silver details and leather, covering almost all my body apart from my head and that’s because I’m without the hood and mask.

“Before anything, we need to know where we are.” I say and before Thrud can do something, I grab her arm. “Preferably without drawing any attention.” We do not know who or what may spot us, and the distant and strange noises make me even more alert. ‘Sounds familiar’.

“Alright, lead the way.” She respects my decision, after years together trust is no longer an issue.

We start walking, Fen choosing to stay slight behind. Soon we pass the denser region and became easy to distinguish structures from afar.

“Those are… buildings?” I talk to myself. Not just buildings, we find ourselves amidst stone paths with mps, benches and trash cans. In the distance, buildings with gss windows that make it look like they are made entire of the material, sounds of horns and peoples, and more shocking to me cars and bikes.

“You recognize this, Id?” Thrud notices my shock as do Fen.

How couldn’t I? It’s been more than a decade, but the memories of living in pces like that don’t just fade.

“Good news, I guess. We are in Midgard, albeit a modern one.” I expin trying to avoid the question.

“Midgard, this?” She is doubtful, but looking to the people around, make her rex a little. The fact that them are looking at us too, do the opposite to me.

  Growl*

“Come we need to know more.” I urge her to continue; Fen is not comfortable too.

Walking out of the park that I realize we came from, we wander the streets as I look for anything that helps me situate ourselves. Attracting a lot of looks in the way, important to note.

It doesn’t take long for me to know where we are, from the name of the park we were, the nguage the strangers around us speak and some journals stands.

United States, New York, Somewhere near Central Park. ‘Oh, boy…’

“Something wrong?” Thrud realize I’m nervous, but I try to convince her not to worry.

“Excuse me… can you point us to the nearest library?” I ask to the stand owner in a broken English, despite knowing the nguage never really used it fluently. Luckily the guy understood and gave me directions.

“You can speak their nguage?” Thrud is clearly surprised. Something understandable since we have been speaking Old Norse since the beginning.

“I recognize this pce; I came by it in one of my… studies. It’s what our Midgard will look like in a few centuries if it can develop without interference.” I expin. From what I can summarize, we are in 2006, the technology boon is happening, but something is not right. ‘I know it, recognize it, but something is off’

That’s why I looking for a library and with luck a computer.

It doesn’t take long for us to arrive where the stand guy directed us. Unfortunately, as we enter, the librarian calls our attention to Fen, who is clearly a too rge of an animal.

“Sorry, sir. We do not allow animals inside, specially one this big.” She warns us in a brave manner since is clear she is terrified of the wolf eyeing her.

She is petit, to say the least. Being the same height as me with frail and soft body.

“Alright… I understand.” I say turning to Thrud. “Can you wait with Fen here? I will not take long.”

“Why is this girl stopping us?” She seems to not like whatever happened.

“Animals are not allowed in the library.” I said earning a frown from Thrud and a growl from Fen that inevitably made the girl squeak in fear. “I know, but since we are guests in a pce that stores knowledge, it’s better to follow the rules.”

“Humph… Alright, but be quick about it, I am getting hungry, and I bet Fen is too.” I consent, being made aware of another problem.

Not just we are in a modern society, but this can turn our mission even harder, any other occasion we could just go about our business searching and asking the locals, but here we attract attention, which can mean authorities intervention, something that depending on the scale I cannot deal with right know.

Not to mention our own subsistence, food, water and shelter… The great challenge of a society when you possess nothing is that things have a price.

“Do you have any computer I can use?” I ask the girl, now calmer since Thrud and Fen directed themselves to the entrance to wait.

She guides me to one, casting subtle gnces in my direction, be it my appearance or my vest, I can’t really tell which is her motive. ‘Is cospy a thing here?’ I can’t help but think about it.

Pushing my thoughts aside as she points me to a computer atop a wooden desk, I thank her and take my seat.

The computer as I expected is not that much advanced, even for this era I think, but still have what I need. Internet.

  *

My search does not take long, since I have someone waiting for me, I don’t have the luxury of time.

To my surprise or not, the simirities with what I know are remarkable, from the OS that is installed on the computer, the search engine, the more famous sites of videos and social media and even some brands of products. On the other hand, there are somethings I do not recognize.

Of all I had the time to see, including news, some causes me great concern and with those in mind I walk to Thrud with a heavy sembnce.

“Spill, you look worried.” She does not beat the bush, something I like.

“Good news, I know exactly where we are… Bad news.” I say pinching the bridge of my nose. “This pce can be even more dangerous than our world and even if we ignore it, we will have to deal with a shit ton of obstacles in our mission.”

  Growls*

“That bad?” Wish I could bring her only good news, but reality does not care, not all is lost, though.

Despite being clear that we are fucked since the existence of a Tony Stark, CEO of Stark Industries implies that we are in a universe of cosmic beings that can erase reality with a sneeze, it also implies that we have a chance to find support in some people, especially since we are in a more tame version of this reality famous for its movies.

‘MCU…’ if a remember correctly is how it was called. Now ignoring the impending danger of a genocidal purple potato erasing half the universe, which now include us, we may be able to leverage somethings to our advantage, since we can’t back down. ‘It’s been so many years I hope I can do it…’

Putting my insecurities aside I motion Thrud and Fen to the exit and try to think what we can do from now on.

“Food…” Thrud says looking to me.

“What?” I question in surprise, I was too deep in thought.

“Our first priority… Danger or not we need to eat, Fen and I are not like you and your fancy armor.” Being mentioned, my clothes ripple emitting a smug sound.

“Yeah, you are right.” She made a good point, before anything, shelter and food is our priority and maybe there are some pces that we can try and peoples we can ask some help from.

“Strangely calm.” Thrud say calling my attention to the silence that should not be possible in the streets of New York.

“May I ask what are your intentions here?” the melodious and calm voice sounds suddenly, bringing my hairs to a full stand.

Not just me but, despite not understanding what was said, Thrud turn with her hammer in hand and battle ready before I can even blink, the same with Fenrir as he growls and examine our surroundings.

I make a tense turn to look to the figure that has addressed us, as it enters my vision, I recognize it, and a sigh comes to my lips.

“Do not fight.” I say exasperated signaling for Thrud and Fen to calm down.

Both understand and agree, the same can’t be said about the others accompanying the mysterious figure.

I don’t need to say that we are surrounded, be at top of some buildings or the path we were taking, there is no exit.

Our possible assaints wore monk robes with a variety of yellow, the woman in front of me not an exception. Although she has her hood up obscuring her features, her body and posture are clear feminine and calm, alert, nonetheless. She distinguishes herself from her pears who are not just alert but tense.

“Do you know them?” Thrud clearly is aware of my familiarity with this world despite knowing I have never been here.

“No, not in person at least.” I answer keeping an eye on the woman.

“Old Norse, perhaps you do not understand English?” the woman question drawing our attention again.

“My companions do not understand English, and I have no fluency on it.” I expin.

“If it is best for you, we can talk in Old Norse.” She speaks.

  “We appreciate it.”

Thrud and Fen is now more comfortable when understanding what is said.

“So, may you share your intentions in coming to our dimension?” The woman insists.

Can’t bme her, in hindsight, the fact that we arrived on earth through a portal that’s more magic than science should have made me realize I would call the attention of someone. For that being to be The Ancient One is our luck… or not. ‘Stopping to think, I may be in MCU, but is it the one I know?’

“A pleasure to meet you Ancient One, my name is Idlifir Freyson, my companions are Thrud Thorsdottir and Fenrir Lokison.” I present us in full, lying to her is not a smart move. “We came to your world in an important mission, but we came in peace.”

Thrud notices my strange reference to the mysterious woman, but we are not in a situation where we can discuss it.

“I recognize your presentation and would like to ask you to accompany us, despite your important mission we need to make sure to complete ours.” The woman takes out her hood, her bald head now showing in no way diminishing her mature beauty.

I agree and with a wave of her hands she opens a portal to us leading to what I assume is one of their sanctums.

“Unless absolutely necessary for our survival do not fight with that woman.” I say to Thrud and Fen who recognize the seriousness on my voice.

We walk through the portal, from a busy city to a calm Sanctuary. Looking around to the architecture and the clear change in climate she brought us all the way to… what was the name again? Tama kaji?

“This is Kamar Taj, from where we train and deal with esoteric beings that threatens the world.” Tao expin as we walk through the corridors and passages of the temple, she leads us as the two other monks that I suspect to be masters accompany us from slight afar.

“May I refer to you as dy Tao?” I ask receiving a nod from the woman. “Lady Tao, as me and my companions are trying to be cooperative, can you tell me why you are escorting us here?” Ugh, formalities are terrible.

She pauses and turns to us, an action that makes Thrud and Fen tense. “I have to be sure of your intentions.” She says motioning to the door we have stopped in front of. It’s open and we can see a set of chairs and tables with what looks like a tea set.

Entering before us as an act to bring us trust in the security of the room, Tao sit on the far side of the table as me and Thrud take the other side, Fen is not interested and y down near us still alert. The monks stay outside closing the door.

“I will do warn you that lying in this room is not advisable.” She says pouring us tea. “So, what bring two young Nordic Gods to Midgard, st I heard Odin keeps Earth under his protection but do not interfere.”

At mention of the name Thrud tenses with certain hostility, even after so many years her grandfather is a sour topic, she tries to distract herself by drinking the tea, but the trembling eye and the tongue tells us that it didn’t work adding more to her discomfort.

“He... Coff*…” my failed attempt to hold back my ugh earns a frown from her, but I try to ignore. Tao was more successful with only a calcuted smile on her face. “I thought you wouldn’t deal with Odin, focusing on interdimensional threats and magical beings.” I say genuinely curios.

“You are right.” She says, her green eyes locking into me seeing more than I find comfortable. “Normally we wouldn’t, but you use a magical portal that isn’t recognized by our wards and that is enough to incite an investigation.”

She observes us as she makes clear what called her attention, what surprises me, being in possession of what amount to millenniums of knowledge inside these walls and centuries of experience, the fact that the branches of Yggdrasil and how to travels through them is unknown… it can’t be. I narrow my eyes to her but choose to wait.

After a moment with an impassive face, she continues. “What Odin desires and why send you two secretly to here?”

“Sorry it seems to be a misunderstanding.” We are really starting wrong. “We are not here because of Odin; we do not know the Odin you speak of… We are.” I pause looking to Thrud who is eyeing Tao. “From more far away… We are seeking someone who may have come to this universe.”

That seems to take her by surprise, she sips her tea and take her time to think.

Come to think about it, her ck of knowledge about the way we use to travel may be reted to the fact that this universe already has a way to travel through their tree using dark matter in what they call Bifrost. Different from us that uses Bifrost energy accessing a more inner yer of the Yggdrasil.

“Are you sure the person you are looking for is in this universe, or more precisely in this pnet? There are no prior visits like yours here.”

“Maybe not appeared on the pnet, but Fenrir brought us directly here so, somewhere on the pnet there’s a strong vestige of the one we are looking for.”

“What are your intentions after finding who you are looking for.” She asks taking a sip of her tea.

“We mainly want to know if he is alive and well, and if possible, to bring him back with us.” I expin finally experimenting my tea… never liked. ‘Be courteous Id.’

“Alright, you have my permission as the guardian of this dimension to look for your missing person on the pnet, you are welcome to stay here as long as needed, I will help in any way I can.” That is good news.

“Thank you, dy Tao, we appreciate the hospitality.” That’s a whole segment of problem resolved.

“I do appreciate if you keep out of troubles, though… More important master Karl will show you where you can sleep and eat.” The door opens as soon as she speaks, there a dark-skinned male present himself.

We don’t linger and follow the one called Karl.

  *

Tao is quietly sitting the same pce where Idlifir left her, while sipping her now full cup she reflects on what happened today.

“Excuse me, Ancient One.” An Asian man enters asking for her permission.

“Master Wong, something wrong?” Tao looks to the man in front of her, he is plump, but contrary to what some may think, well trained and prepared.

“I have the books you requested.” he says indicating two tomes under his arms. “Yggdrasil by Master Corven and Nordic deities and Seidr magic by Master Bjorn.” He puts them on the table as Tao take the first one and open into a random page.

“Thank you, Wong.” She says, but as the man do not move, her attentions turn back to him. “Yes?”

“Is it wise to let those strangers in here, Master? They…” the man doesn’t end his sentence but it’s clear what he means.

Being used to deal with beings coming from other dimensions in most of the times with intentions of destruction or domination letting two of them stay at heart of the base is counterproductive.

“Strangers come and go Wong, sometimes they stay strangers, sometimes they become enemies, others can be colleagues or even friends.” She speaks, wisdom in her voice as her hands traces the pages of the book she is not reading. “Let’s not make one more enemy.” sipping her tea she closes her eyes and after a breath, she adds. “Besides, they came to our world using a method that we do not know and couldn’t detect, if not for our artifact ward warning us of two powerful relics sudden appearing in the middle of Manhattan, we wouldn’t even realize they presence until much ter... what intrigues me more is the fact that the boy knows who I’m.”

“That’s... understood.” Wong considered her words and came to an understanding of the situation, keeping to himself. “If you excuse me.” He exits the room letting Tao to her own thoughts.

  *

Master Mordor as he presented himself, guided us through the hall of Kamar Taj, presenting us to the canteen where some of the students were eating. Their food was clearly controlled, maybe part of the monk diet, fortunately for Thrud, since we are guests, he told us that we could eat how much we want, the keeping to a reasonable quantity was left implicit since they are still a temple and by no means rich.

Thrud and Fen enjoy their lunch and to not arouse suspicions I too eat my fill.

Soon we arrived at our rooms, Thrud made clear that we would stay in the same one, she’s still cautious of the pce, attitude that Mr. Mordor seemed to approve, despite not really approving our presence. We thanked his assistance and entered.

The room is simple, no decorations apart from the ones that come with the theme of old temple and simple furniture. There are two beds simple and medium comfortable with a simple cab on each side and a nightstand, a room that is clearly made to be shared not much different from a roadside hotel.

“Hum... Well.” After circling the room for a while probably looking for any abnormalities while Fen and I found our spots. Thrud turns to me with her hands on her hips. “So, spill.”

“What?” I question a little lost because of the abruptness.

“Don’t ‘what’ me, expin; how do you know this pce and those people, why do you act like you have seen it all and even know their nguage.” Valid questions I may say.

“Sigh*” I can’t help the sigh escaping my lips and motion her to sit on the bed next to mine. “Remember when I told you about my dreams? That I remembered things as if I had lived another life?” I question observing her face and expression, she accents with her read, her blue eyes shining with the low light of the room. “They weren't just dreams; I did live it and seem all this... I couldn’t help but remember... For father’s beard, the nostalgia...”

“I always thought it was your strong imagination, all the things you made back home showed us that you had a lot of creativity, too much actually.” She looks thoughtful and I hope not disappointed in me.

“More like inspirations... Despite having to bring they to fruition most of what I did was based on what you see... although to be honest these are different from the ones I based... Here things are more backwards.” It can’t be helped it’s still 2006 and been MCU and not the reality I know makes it even more different and unique.

“Sigh... All those years together and I still learning things about you.” She sounds exasperated, almost tired.

“Sorry, didn’t mean to hide it, just... To say you have already lived a life before is not exactly a sane thing to say.” I expin apologetic even more so because I can’t bring to say that not just this pce but even what we have back home was nothing but fiction to me until I started living it.

“I understand... I will find a way for you to repay me for this so do not worry.” I couldn’t help but feel my eyebrow twitching to this decration, but knowing my position right now, it’s better not to defy it.

We do some more small chat, but with the long day we had and with a full stomach we decide to sleep, Thrud didn’t take long. Fen was sleeping long before we even id down.

  *

Morning came fast, the sun light hitting our beds through the window. I woke to its warm but decided to stay on the bed.

Thrud didn’t take long to wake up, grumbling the sleepiness away, something that always makes me ugh.

Having taken her armor off the night before, she stands up with nothing more than her underwear, and I and my 14-year body can’t help but notice.

Did I mention that she is a woman in her te twenties with a goddess body? As if my morning wood caused by the raging hormones of an adolescent entering puberty is not enough, in front of me is the prime example of a female... Damit, I will be here for some time.

Battling away my desire as she make her bed and goes to wash and dress up, I shrink myself under the sheets. Luckly I can be ready in an instant having just to use the toilet and washing my face. Courtesy of Umbra.

As if been called, it steers inside my body oozing out from my skin and covering my body in a skintight suit.

Umbra is what I called my symbiont, the reference made clear. ‘I wonder if they exist here.’ It is a conscious being that I had accidently created when I mixed Hive Matter with my blood and a shit ton of energy. It's a part of me in the literal sense of the world, since I can feel it and it can feel me. It resides inside my body taking almost all of it.

To some it may be scary having a being crawling inside you day and night, but to me, it is not just part of my body, but of myself. Since because of it I can touch people and things again albeit only through it. Offers me protection in form of armor and shield acting on its own accord, and lot of other benefits.

One of them making it self-clear right now. As it tries to involve my body in the suit so I can start my day in a not naked manner. ‘I have the habit of sleeping as I was born.’ It eventually notices my prominent member that's clearly impeding me from standing up.

It’s not one of my proudest moments but having a 14-year body that is in constant heat being accompanied by a beauty most of the time without any real alone time, the possibility of jerking off without being noticed helps me not to act dominated by my hormones. Being a recent problem of my life and a serious one, I must deal with it. ‘Do not judge a man’s struggle.’

I keep an eye on Thrud as she inclines to take her clothes and armor, her backside to me, plump bottom in full view. ‘Sometimes I wonder if she does it on purpose or is really that comfortably with me.’ It shouldn’t be a dilemma, but her knowing me since I was a baby put doubts on what she thinks about me. But right now, to me those are irrelevant since my mind is quite mudded and the only thing I’m seeing is a perfect round butt.

Umbra feeling my arousal and the member that's rock hard, involves it in a mound of flesh like matter, parting on the middle to fit my member. Despite its fluidity it finds difficult in doing its job without stirring the sheets, having to deal with a member with some considerable length and thickness. ‘I’m grateful to be well endowed since I will eventually have a partner, but it can be a hassle sometimes...’ I can’t help but think as I reposition my body to help it.

Finding the position it’s fully involving me in its flesh like mound and as if it’s a personalized Ona hole it starts to stir and vibrate to alleviate me from my needs.

As I watch Thrud putting her armor in a reverse sexy striptease, I ejacute inside Umbra, which consumes it and continues jerking me off. I now am clenching my jaw because of the sensitivity and another ejacution coming, it does not take long.

In the span of a few minutes Umbra jerks me off a couple of times, knowing my weak spots and the urgency of my predicament both of us don’t hold back and by the time Thrud ends her morning routine my mind is no longer mudded, cleared by diverse post nuts.

  *

After successfully overcoming such terrible predicament, we start by ying out our pns.

“Where should we began looking?” Thrud asks now seated on her bed. I’m sitting on mine cross-legged after having completed my morning routine.

“I have no idea; Fen seems to not be able to point us in a direction having lost my brother’s trace after we arrived.” That’s partially my fault since I prioritized to portal to a more remote pce to avoid attracting attention, it proved to be a good decision if one stops to think where we are right now, but the downside is that we lost the trace.

Despite Fen’s nose being ridiculous potent to the point of tracking someone through dimensions it still needs the find the path the person took and then it can follow it undefined. After all you can only follow a road if it’s at least where you can see.

“Then we are at starting point again.” Thrud say disheartened. She and my brother are good friends, knowing each other even before I was born, so I understand her.

“Not exactly, we can ask for dy Tao’s help.” If there’s someone capable of finding a person is her, and if this doesn’t work, I have other means.

“That strange woman, I don’t know... She looks suspicious to me, something in her is... corrupted.” Thats is concerning, Thrud has quite the sixth sense for danger, so her alert must be taken seriously. “Can’t you do your things and finds us a way?”

“I don’t know, we are in an entirely new universe Thrud, some off our abilities are bound to be limited.” when traveling through dimensions and universes, somethings become of great concern, like; your destination is habitable? Preparing for where you go is a must. Other than that, is of great concern how you will be limited there; are you physically strong to endure a stronger gravity a denser atmosphere or is your abilities applicable there. “Almost everything here is equal to our home, physically at least. But abilities wise I must test somethings... On the good side, you may not be limited here since there’s an instance of your power here.”

“What do you mean?” She questions examining herself.

“There is a Thor here and consequently a God of Thunder... Your nature is well represented here as Goddess of Lighting and Strength.” I expin and as to prove my point lightning jumps from fingers to fingers on her hand. “I on the other hand... I feel my Seidr Magic limited to runes and my Giant variant without a spark, my Greek Magic nonexistent, Dwarf Magic also limited...Bifrost is the same if not a little strong though.” I expin imbuing my hand in a rainbow-like aura. “Transport won’t be a problem at least... my natural abilities are good too, a bit wonky though, I will need to do some tests.”

When traveling to another universe the nature of your being and how you fit in that universe determines how limited you are there, and it will st until you gets used to that reality and the reality to you. It can take time from some hours to years if not decades. If you are lucky the limits disappear, and you are free to do whatever you were capable in your original universe, if not the limits solidify and trying to defy it can have severe consequences. The tter is rare though.

“I will try to colborate with dy Tao and maybe get her help, in the meantime gets used to the pce with Fen, taking him to some walks, maybe we if have some luck, he finds some traces.” I y out some basic pns.

  Pleased Growl*

Fenrir looks animated for the walks as do Thrud since both like to explore and even more to hunt.

“Let’s avoid poputed areas, though... You know the drill if you need me just call, don’t go smashing things without necessity, alright?” The grown woman nods sheepishly to my words. I’m not concerned that she can handle herself, and honestly apart from some cosmic level beings, few can pose a threat to her even here.

“I can say the same to you... Take care Id, I here to help... besides if something happens to you, aunty will kill me.” I appreciate her words and don’t doubt the ter.

We say our byes for the day as I go to find Tao and she goes with Fen to explore. I can’t help but admire her body as she distances herself. Umbra ripples atop my skin and to avoid a very embarrassing situation of public indecency I steel my resolve to what matters.

‘Time to accomplish some of my long-lost dreams and see what this world has in reserve for me.’
