Prologue

This story is meant to reveal a deeper meaning. It is a fictional parable. I hope you learn something that impacts you for the rest of your life. Take the time to listen outside of the story. Try to not block out any other thoughts that may distract you from the story if it reminds you of something similar in your own life. I want you to relate yourself to the story if you can. Feel emotion. Try to not be in your comfort zone and be okay with being confronted. Be sensitive and curious. This isn't meant to numb you. I hope this can release something that's been hardened before, and make it soft. I want you to cry, to get on your knees and sob. Let it wreck you. Walk away changed. If you finish the story, search for more. If you brought something you want to leave behind, I hope it leaves you and never comes back... this story has warfare. It has monsters and men. The main character will be struck down and hard pressed on every side... but death is not the end. It cannot win. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. Follow the map. Count the cost. She doesn't control it. She can't do it alone. -Anna
