  Welcome back to the world of The Hounds of Heaven. I’m genuinely glad you’re here.

  Before you begin, a quick clarification: this isn’t a traditional sequel. It’s a complete, self-contained story — one that stands on its own. That said, many of the characters return from the first book, carrying their history with them.

  Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.

  You don’t need to have read Book One to follow this journey. But if you have, you’ll notice the echoes. The scars. The quiet continuations.

  Lastly a practical note: Royal Road can be a bit messy with copy-and-pasted text, and that caused some technical and grammatical issues last time. I can’t promise perfection, but I can promise I’m going to be a lot more careful.
