Mortal Title Fragment “Delver”: Increases resistances towards all abilities with the Dungeon Trait.
Knight Title Fragment “Lonesome”: Infinitesimally increases the effectiveness of all abilities while entering a Dungeon alone.
Jon took a deep breath, exiting the Winter-Forests Of Bal. Dressed as though attending a summer soiree, he could not help let out a small yawn, allowing his Knight Ranked Spirit-Protection Shirt and Knight Ranked Metal-Thread Pants to hang loosely off his form.
Alongside both his Knight Ranked Quiet-Trace Boots and Knight Ranked Golden-Shield Ring, Jon was wearing more than a thousand platinum coins worth of fragments and Mana Cores. Although he had not created any of the spiritual items that he was currently wearing, as leader of the Merchant Guild he was afforded… certain advantages that ordinary Knights could not help but dream about.
A complete set of Knight Ranked spiritual items was not out of the question, however a custom set might be pushing it a bit even by his standards.
Knight Ranked spiritual items had two fragments integrated into them, in comparison to just the individual fragment for Mortal Ranked spiritual items.
The number of effects they possessed were greater and were capable of withstanding much more spiritual energy before breaking or growing inert.
Much akin to ordinary tools and weapons, spiritual items did break down over time. Of course it depended on both the quality of craftsmanship and how frequently someone used said spiritual item but were not objects that could be used in perpetuity.
The usefulness of spiritual items could not be understated, especially knowing that each one could be used regardless of Rank or Tier. Mortals such as Avahni were able to use Knight Ranked spiritual items, albeit to a lesser effectiveness, and Knights such as himself would be able to use Lord Ranked spiritual items.
As such, the Knight Ranked Dungeon Of “Winter” was particularly easy for him, given his innate resistances towards cold-related and ice-related damages, afflictions, and debuffs.
‘That makes ten Knight Ranked Title Fragments. Construct Rector is without any doubt going to be included in my complete Knight Ranked Title. It effects both my Hades-Draconian Shadow and Carcosa-Horror Tendrils on top of my Worms Of Envy.’
‘It effects both the Red Archives and Violet Doors that I create, on top of both the Archetype Twinleaf and Archetype Treasured-Avarice. It does not quite match the strength of Mutare Dominus, although I can afford to wait for another Title Fragment that grants a similar effect.’
‘Logos Eidos is another powerful contender, on top of both Polyglot and Father Of Shapeless Carcosa. All three assist in the comprehension and understanding of various different types of concepts, which can help me when I transform more of my abilities into fragment pathways.’
‘Journeyman is not too bad either, although I might keep it in order to improve Lethe later on. In order to ascend the Mask Of Jade Lies to Knighthood, I’ll require another Lie Mana Core and Knight Ranked spiritual item. I’ve already decided on a Fragment Of Theft for it. All I am waiting on now is more Title Fragments…’
Jon let out another small sigh, stretching his neck and shoulders.
He had been busy these last few days, considering that Wilheim, Sariel and Shamael had all left to assist in the defence and reconstruction of Saltstream Town.
All of the paperwork relating to the agreements and deals that his Merchant Guild had with the Spring Council, Explorers Guild, Creationist Guild and Transportation Guild had all been placed on his shoulders. Wilheim had been quite good at sorting them out, and for the first time in over a year had left Springtown without him.
Sariel also helped him out too in this regard, Shamael too to some extent.
The four of them continued to live within the walls of the Wonderous Citadel Dwelling, even if Avahni had left to live with Aerilayna. Whenever one of them brought some sort of work home from the Merchant Guild, the other three always helped out except during the formation of spiritual veins or the creation of spiritual items.
Sharing a dinner and bonding over boring documents was something that he had grown to enjoy, regardless of who accompanied him. Sariel never failed to bring a smile to his face and Wilheim had never once failed to get a chuckle out of him, seeing the floresiensis try and cook something for the first time in his life.
‘Perhaps it is the feeling of a home that I actually-.’
His Sea Of Knowledge catching the thought mid-wave before submerging it beneath Guf, Tehom and Hadal. His brows twitching in response to the sudden surge of knowledge natured spiritual energy, but ignored it, in favour of some other thought entirely.
Although he hated manipulating emotions, thoughts, and desires in such a manner, he was not in the mood to confront them right this moment.
There were far more important things right this moment, then the occasional wisps of longing within his chest.
‘I should look to combine some of the Mortal Title Fragments into Knight Title Fragments as soon as possible. If I can obtain one more Mortal Title Fragment then I would be able to combine them into five different Knight Title Fragments.’
‘Hopefully at least one or two of them might be suitable to integrate into Lethe…’
Scratching the bottom of his chin, Jon hummed thoughtfully, wondering how he could obtain another Mortal Title Fragment. His eyes glancing towards the rest of his task reward page, before letting out a small sigh and selecting his eight mandatory task.
Although he had initially intended on waiting until he could claim the final Throne Rank rewards from said task before accepting any of them, Jon felt that it would be a waste to ignore them.

Jon accepted the Lord, Marquis, and Duke Rank rewards without hesitation, adding the Titles to his growing collection. With the addition of one Mortal Title Fragment and two more Knight Title Fragments, he was now in possession of fifteen Mortal Title Fragments and a total of twelve Knight Title Fragments.
The effects of all three relating to the Wonders as a whole.

Knight Title Fragment “Wonderchild”: Concepts and notions related to wonders and mana become infinitesimally easier to understand and comprehend.
Knight Title Fragment “Wonder Dominus”: Increases effectiveness of all abilities with the Wonder Trait.
‘Hmm… I always did wonder what would happen if I integrated a Fragment Of Wonder into one of my abilities… Might be something worth asking Rana when I have a spare moment…’
Jon had lost the effect of “nurturing” Wonders after integrating Polemarch Of Jade Warfare into his Memento Source Item. In the formation of the Mask Of Jade Lies, the concepts contained within his Fragment Of Facelessness had taken precedence over the concepts contained within his second complete Title.
Additionally resulting in the loss of combat specific effects, such as a temporary increase to physical capabilities and ability effectiveness for a short duration after defeating an enemy. It was an unfortunate side effect, but one that he had accounted for in the long run.
Feeling some of his expended spiritual energy recover itself, Jon smiled before activating his Fragment Of Door.
[Violet Doors Of Janus Quirinus].
A pseudo-spiritual construct woven from weave natured spiritual energy manifesting itself before him. The familiar structure of the door to his childhood room appearing in the corner of his eye, opening itself without him even needing to touch the handle.
Stepping through without a moment’s hesitation, Jon took a deep breath before readying himself for another busy morning ahead of him. Other than the usual paperwork that he needed to do, he needed to prepare himself for the formation of more Knight Title Fragments.
Truly, he was amongst the busiest of individuals within Springtown.
Break.
“Ah! Why can I not create a stupid Knight Ranked spiritual item!” Avahni shouted, rolling across the floor of her private room within the Creationist Guild under the watchful gaze of the Virtuous Flame, Grand Creation and the Father Of Spirits And Souls.
Both Jibril and Rhidian sharing a glance, before letting out a shared sigh shaking their heads.
This had been the third time this week that Avahni had attempted to form a Knight Ranked spiritual item.
And the third time that she had failed.
The Imaginary Princess Of The Round Table whined with each failed attempt, moaning and carrying on as she continued to roll across the carpeted floor of her private room. Although both Maliq and his second-in-command Leslie had offered her a much larger room given that she had two Memento Source wielding summoned companions, she had declined stating that until she created her own Knight Ranked spiritual item, she should be treated the same as everyone else.
Her lack of Knighthood aside, she was one of but five known individuals within Springtown who possessed Memento Source wielding summoned companion.
This was not public information, but rather an open secret amongst the upper echelons of the Creationist Guild and Town Management.
While the vast majority of individuals in the loop just knew that Avahni could summon a fire-souled messenger capable of producing spiritual items, only Delila, Maliq and Amadeus knew of Avahni’s… uniqueness.
Or as Nestor put it, the “outwardness” of her Source.
The fact that she had twenty-four abilities with the Summon Trait was something that neither the Shadow Of Twilight Obscurity nor Sun-Swallowing Golden Creation had ever seen before. She was someone without a Summon Mana Core but possessed all the abilities of one regardless.
Delila, Maliq, and Amadeus had personally met with both Jibril and Rhidian. Considering that the two were the more… diplomatic of her summoned companions, the Father Of Spirits And Souls had taken the lead in forming a contract regarding Avahni’s secrets.
Amadeus’ eyes unconsciously drawn to the presence of the Three Sisters Of Destruction standing in the corner of the room, alongside the Wind-Void Sword Scripture. His Fragment Of Eyes able to observe the presence of a Memento Trait coming from each of them.
Despite the obvious battle-lust within his eyes, Amadeus refrained from fighting with both Ortlinde and Xuanyuan, deciding to wait until Avahni had attained Knighthood.
Picking a fight with Schwarz Eis Seir was difficult enough as it is, but with so many opportunities laid out right in front of him, the Tribue Of Dusk And Destruction could not help but quiver in anticipation.
In the end however, Delila and Nestor had managed to come to an agreement with Jibril and Rhidian.
“For the remaining duration of Avahni’s Mortality, she will be under your protection. In exchange, the four of us will serve Springtown as both its defenders and teachers in all matters required by the Town Management, Creationist Guild and Explorers Guild.”
“Is that suitable enough for the three of you?”
More than five months had passed since then and Avahni, despite her immaturity and laziness, had managed to become a half-decent creationist, under the guidance of both the Virtuous Flame, Grand Destruction and Father Of Spirits And Souls.
Even without the abilities of a Knight, she could still create Knight Ranked spiritual items using the effects of her Mortal Ranked Title.
[2]: Manifests an imaginary structure within the mind. The Round Table allows summoned companions to “gift” their Title, allowing the Imaginary Princess to borrow their abilities without summoning them.
Within the depths of her Mental Aquascape had formed a Round Table, where her summoned companions were able to gather and discuss matters using her Fragment Of Mind as a conduit. Additionally, she was able to borrow the effects of her Fragment Of Fey and Fragment Of Alcohol, using their Memento Source Items to create a wide array of spiritual items.

The last one had been her newest creation, one finished mere hours after her last encounter with the Princeps Of The Wandering Mutation. Although she knew that Jon would never willingly lie to her under the influence of the Mask Of Jade Lies, she impulsively created said spiritual item, now somewhat regretting its creation.
“Avahni,” Rhidian tried to placate his youthful summoner, “Creating a Knight Ranked spiritual item as a Mortal will not necessarily grant you a Memento Source Item. A Title Fragment most certainly, but there is no guarantee unless you perform the entire enhancement process entirely on your own.”
“And that includes the creation of said object which you intend to imbue.”
Jibril on the other hand, was not nearly as kind.
“Avahni Rudras! You are a grown woman! Cease this immature floundering and repeat the process once more! How do you expect to catch up to the Princeps Of The Wandering Mutation or Adeptus Sanctus Medicius if you continue to laze around like some unevolved sentient beast!”
The Virtuous Flame, Grand Creation sent her a derisive glare, rolling her eyes at the green-haired woman. The fire-souled message had long since retracted her wings and Memento Source Item, preventing Avahni from channelling them through her Round Table.
With all the gifts and powers that her Source had granted her, Avahni was someone that could be considered a “once-in-a-millennia” genius throughout the integrated universes. With all the summoned companions that she possessed, she could rule over dozens of planets, across entire star systems at Barony or perhaps even at Lordship if she so pleased.
The strength of the White Devil Of The Ninth Circle and Threaded-Heart Of Terminus Est was evidence enough of this, both able to fight lesser Knights thanks to the effects of their powerful bodies and Memento Source Items.
“If you had even half the drive that Jon had, you would have long since succeeded in this endeavour, you do realize that!?” Jibril exclaimed, watching as Avahni paused her little tirade, furrowing her brows and glaring at the fire-souled messenger.
“What did you just say?” Avahni questioned, her tone lacking the playfulness it once possessed.
The Father Of Spirits And Souls beside her, sighing as he face-palmed, knowing exactly where this conversation was going. Jibril on the other hand, just crossed her arms in front of her, tilting her head back arrogantly, staring down at her master and summoner.
“You heard me. Even if that ice devil spirit tried to kill you, Jon did not, so I do not understand why you are still upset at him. In fact he even he even killed Schwarz Eis, commanding her through his Fragment Of Summon in order to thrust Assail through her chest.”
“If you Avahni, had half of Jon’s drive, then you would have long since obtained a Memento Source Item. You lounge around, carrying on like a petulant child. Whining when things do not go your way. The Title of Imaginary Princess Of The Round Table suits you. You are nothing but a child, dreaming of achievements that will never be hers.”
Both Jibril and Avahni staring down at one another, before the latter reached out towards both her Fragment Of Seraph and Fragment Of Alcohol, pulling them both into her internal dwellings for them.
Rhidian could not help but sigh as he felt the pull from his fragment, returning back to Avahni’s Earth Mana Core.
The green-haired woman was left all alone, the voices of her numerous summoned companions silenced through her individual mastery of each of them.
Her brows furrowing in response to the words of the fire-souled messenger, once again remembering that the Incarnation Of The Hunt and the Virtuous Flame, Grand Destruction were once best friends in life. Knowing that Ler Setanta was no doubt laughing from within his Fragment Of Ichthyosaur, gazing up her with an expression of arrogant derision.
Avahni felt her fists clench, tighter than what was normal.
The sound of her jaw clenching seemed to echo throughout her private room before borrowing the effects of Toci; Black-Earth Swamp-Water Cypress and reaching into the storage space contained within the Fragment Of Cypress.
Pulling out dozens of different Knight Ranked materials.
Her room within the Creationist Guild grew quiet as Avahni continued her attempts at creating a Knight Ranked spiritual item.
