Angel Noir – Season 2 Episode 19 – The Secret in the Shadows

Episode 19 – The Secret in the Shadows

The Alpha Organization base was unusually quiet that night.

Most agents were resting after recent missions, and only the distant hum of the ship’s systems echoed through the metallic corridors. Leon walked slowly, lost in thought about everything he had experienced since joining the organization.

He had always felt that Lee and Lara knew more than they revealed.

That night… he would discover he was right.

Lara appeared in the hallway and motioned discreetly.

“Leon… come with me. And be quiet.”

Her tone was serious. He nodded and followed her. They entered her room, which looked completely normal… until she pressed a hidden point on the wall.

A panel slid open with a soft mechanical sound.

  A secret passage.

  Leon’s eyes widened.

  “You… have a secret room?!”

She put a finger over her lips.

  “Almost nobody knows about this.”

They descended a narrow metal staircase. When Leon stepped inside, he froze.

  The chamber was massive.

Blue holograms illuminated the darkness. Dozens of floating screens displayed planets, space stations, star routes, and battle records — technology far beyond anything he had ever seen.

  “This… is impossible…”

“It’s not,” Lara replied. “I hacked the organization’s systems… and more than that. We have access to transmissions from several worlds Lee has visited. Even deep space.”

Leon walked slowly among the holograms, mesmerized. Entire civilizations unfolded before him.

  Then one screen changed.

  A planet appeared.

The ground shook violently. Volcanoes erupted. Smoke covered the sky.

  A Krizardian fleet orbited above.

  Leon stopped breathing.

Energy beams struck the world. The crust split apart. Oceans evaporated. Within minutes, the planet collapsed.

  It imploded.

  Survivor ships fled.

  The Krizardians left.

  Leon clenched his fists.

  “They destroyed everything…”

But then something even stranger happened.

After the fleet vanished, other ships appeared — darker, silent.

  Spirian Androids.

They searched the planetary debris and retrieved a glowing sphere: the planetary core. Carefully, they sealed it inside a metallic container.

  Leon looked at Lara.

  “What is that…?”

  She answered quietly.

“This is the mystery Lee has been investigating for years.”

  The image shifted again.

  A cracked, lifeless moon.

Krizardian ships landed… and delivered something to the Spirian androids.

  Leon leaned closer.

  Children.

  Ten of them.

  He froze.

  “Children…?”

“Always ten,” Lara said. “Every time a planet is destroyed… they give ten children to the Spirian.”

  “Why?”

  She shook her head.

“Even Lee doesn’t know. He isn’t just fighting a war… he’s trying to stop something bigger.”

  Leon stared at the screens.

The Krizardians were not the only threat.

They were only… part of something.

  Something older.

  Something hidden.

  He whispered:

“So… the real war hasn’t even started yet…”

  Lara replied softly:

  “Exactly.”

And for the first time since joining the organization… Leon understood how dangerous the universe truly was.
