Black Angel – Season 2 Episode 29: Mission in Color00 – Part 1

  Episode 29: Mission in Color00 – Part 1

The mission briefing room was unusually crowded.

Leon, Lara, Liu and three additional agents from different races stood before the holographic projection of a distant world. The planet rotated slowly above the table, glowing in unnatural colors.

  Color00.

Its sky shimmered in layered tones of violet, gold and turquoise. Even from the projection it looked… alive.

Lara crossed her arms, staring at it.

“This planet…” she whispered. “It feels like it’s breathing.”

  Liu’s expression remained serious.

“That’s exactly why the Spilrians want it destroyed. A world like this must have a powerful core.”

  Leon looked at the team.

“Our objective is simple. We escort the family across the desert and make sure they survive. No matter what it costs.”

  No one argued.

The moment they arrived, heat hit them like a wall.

The desert of Color00 stretched endlessly beneath a multicolored sky. At night, the sand itself glowed faintly with energy, and small arcs of lightning danced across the dunes like living creatures.

The family they were assigned to protect — a mother, father, and two children — stayed close behind the agents.

They didn’t travel long before the first attack came.

Raiders emerged from behind the dunes, armed and mounted on fast desert beasts.

  Leon moved first.

Wind gathered around his arm as he slammed his hand into the sand. The ground rose instantly, forming a protective wall that blocked incoming projectiles. With a second motion, he manipulated the earth beneath the raiders, collapsing the ground under them.

Lara spun forward, her blade flashing in circular arcs. Several attackers fell before they even realized she had moved.

Liu didn’t charge. He simply raised his hand.

Energy condensed around his fingers and shot forward in precise bursts, knocking multiple enemies unconscious within seconds.

  The fight ended quickly.

The family stood frozen, terrified — but unharmed.

Leon turned back to them gently.

  “It’s alright. Stay behind us.”

  They continued.

Hours later, smoke appeared on the horizon.

The closer they came, the worse the scene became.

  A city was burning.

Buildings collapsed, temples were torn apart, and civilians ran through the streets in panic while Krizardian soldiers looted homes and dragged prisoners away.

Flames reflected across the colorful sky, turning it a deep crimson.

Lara’s grip tightened on her weapon, anger visible in her eyes.

  “Leon… that one…”

At the center of the destruction stood a massive figure clad in scarlet armor, surrounded by heat distortion.

  Leon’s eyes narrowed.

  “A general…”

  Then he spoke quietly.

“So it’s true… the Spilrians really are behind this.”

The Krizardian General turned toward them slowly.

His aura alone pushed sand away from his feet as if the ground itself feared him.

“Leave,” he said coldly. “This planet has already been condemned.”

  Leon stepped forward.

“As long as I’m here… it won’t happen.”

  The general smiled.

  The battle began instantly.

Leon activated two elements at once — wind accelerating his movements while earth reinforced his strikes. He clashed directly with the general, shockwaves erupting across the battlefield.

Lara synchronized her attacks with his movements, striking whenever the general’s defense opened.

From the shadows, Liu attacked with calculated precision, forcing the general to constantly reposition.

Energy explosions lit the burning city. Each impact shook nearby buildings.

But the general did not fall.

  Even wounded, he remained standing.

Leon’s team stood exhausted, breathing heavily as the enemy slowly straightened his posture again.

  Then the ground trembled.

  The sky darkened.

Cracks of energy spread across the earth beneath their feet.

The camera of the world itself seemed to pull upward — revealing the entire region turning red.

  Something far worse was coming.

  To be continued…
