Collapse of the Star Chamber
The chamber shook violently.
Chunks of stone lifted into the air, suspended by the immense pressure of divine power. Energy crackled across the room as light and darkness twisted together like opposing storms.
At the center floated the Goddess Lara.
Her golden wings stretched outward, glowing like the sun itself.
Dozens of ethereal blades formed around her, spinning slowly in the air.
Her eyes glowed coldly.
“You are nothing more than children playing heroes.”
With a flick of her hand, the blades launched forward.
Overwhelming Power
Leon spread his black wings wide, intercepting several of the incoming blades.
Metallic echoes rang through the chamber as the projectiles shattered against his defense.
Liu jumped high into the air, spinning through the storm of weapons and smashing several apart with lightning-fast kicks.
At the same time, Lara raised both hands.
A radiant yellow shield erupted in front of them, deflecting the remaining attacks.
Even so, the force behind the goddess’ assault pushed them backward.
Liu landed roughly beside Leon.
“She’s reading every move we make!”
Leon clenched his fists.
“Then we’ll do something she can’t predict.”
Formation
The three separated.
In seconds they formed a triangle around the goddess.
Energy began to radiate from each of them.
Leon’s black wings crackled with golden lightning.
Lara’s hands glowed with expanding rings of radiant light.
Liu’s body ignited with a sharp blue aura as he prepared to move faster than the eye could follow.
The chamber filled with their combined power.

The goddess suddenly vanished.
She reappeared behind Lara in an instant.
But Leon intercepted her.
Their collision shattered the ground beneath them.
The shockwave ripped through the chamber.
Liu dashed forward, unleashing a barrage of strikes.
Each kick struck like a thunderclap.
The goddess absorbed the blows, her expression unchanged.
“…Interesting.”
“For the first time…”
“I feel resistance.”
Then her aura exploded outward.
The blast hurled all three of them across the room.
The First Sign of Hope
Leon slid across the floor, blood dripping from his arms.
Lara knelt nearby, breathing heavily as cracks formed across her fading shield.
Liu slowly stood up again.
Despite the pain, he smiled.
“So she bleeds after all.”
Leon lifted his head.
Then looked at both of them.
“Then we finish this together.”
Unity
They closed their eyes.
Their breathing synchronized.
Three different energies began to intertwine in the air.
Lara’s golden light.
Leon’s dark-golden storm.
Liu’s sharp blue energy.
The three forces spiraled together like a single living storm.
Leon’s eyes opened.
“Now!”
Liu launched forward first, moving at supersonic speed and tearing open the goddess’ defenses.
Lara followed with a beam of radiant energy that locked the goddess’ movements in place.
And from above—
Leon descended like a thunderbolt.
His wings erupted in a storm of black lightning.
The impact exploded across the chamber.
The First Crack
The goddess crashed into a column of stone.

A camara tremeu quando o poder dela aumentou muito além do que antes.
“Ent?o eu lhe mostrarei…”
“…verdadeiro desespero.”
Suspense
Toda a camara come?ou a desabar.
A própria realidade se distorceu ao redor deles.
Pedra, luz e energia se estilha?aram em fragmentos como se a própria estrela estivesse se despeda?ando.
A última coisa que o trio viu foram as asas douradas e flamejantes da deusa se espalhando pelo céu.
Ent?o tudo explodiu em escurid?o.
