And the jig was up, this man knows exactly what I am, probably knew from the moment he stepped into the graveyard. I prepare the command to pull the elemental back to the core in hopes to try and save him and perhaps myself. As the elemental looks ready to run though the man puts his hands up and a smile graces his lips, though it is one that doesn’t quite reach his eyes.
“now now, no need to panic, I wanna talk first before anyone does anything rash.”
Everyone was confused, me, the elemental, the party, everyone except this man.
“Guild master, what are you doing?” Ava asks, from the looks on all their faces she was probably the only one composed enough to talk.
“Talking with the new neighbor Ava, what does it look like?” That put a genuine smile on his face before he continued. “The reports these ones brought me meantioned some elemental like things but no actual elementals.” He was sizing up the elemental and I could see some understanding go across his face as he checked out my monster.
“This can’t be real” Venos said in absolute disbelief.
“well it seems to be, so I guess we should probably start believing it.” Orkus is recovering faster then his teammate and is starting to take it in stride.

“Don’t mind them friend, so then, do you have a name or is The Dungeon good for now?” I hadn’t thought of that much, I have my old name but for now I didn’t have a ‘dungeon name.’ for the time being I just have the elemental hold up two of his three fingers in response. “The Dungeon then, or Dungeon for short, got it. Now then firstly I assume you can’t communicate outside of this little one?”
I order a nod from the elemental, who is almost the same size as this man but well, I am not in the state to correct him.
“alright then, that makes things hard but not impossible, so first things first, did you find or make those skeletons?”
That got another bout of confusion from the party, especially the lizard man, who was quickly trying to find his voice with a “What’s the difference?”
“The difference is if this dungeon actually desecrated the dead or made monsters that look like them.” That line made me very nervous but I doubt I could lie to this guy so I had the elemental hold up two fingers again. That got a scowl and a frown but the guild master nodded as he thought over the next question. “Are you Spirit Affinity?” that question might mean my death knell but I made it this far with the truth and I might as well continue. With another nod the elemental prepared for an eminent end that was sure to come for him first, and then me next.
Instead, there is a short sigh of relief followed by a genuine smile that reached the man’s eyes as he looked at the elemental. “That’s good, means you are treating those skeletons better then a Death dungeon.” There was a confused few moments between me, him, the elemental, and the party as the latter three of us tried to understand what that meant. He let’s the confusion hang in the air for a bit longer before elaborating. “As a spirit affinity dungeon you have ghosts possessing those skeletons, and they are more inclined to act like the original owners, and upkeep them then a monster skeleton.”
That made things more clear and looking at the skeletons in the crypt they where definitely more human like then the skeletons from what I know.
“so with that settled let’s move on to the more pressing matters, defending you and getting people in you.” There is a small pause before he facepalms and laughs. “I could have said that better”
despite the brevity, he was the only one laughing.
