Monday had come, and as Hiroshi was checking the mail, he could notice a envelope with tamers logo on it.
Taking it inside, and as everyone were relaxing for day of activity, Hiroshi spoke up to get attention. "Seems Olivia's test results came."
Sitting down on the sofa, as Nata and Olivia leaned on him in curiousity, while Julia kept her distance, he opened the envelope and went reading it.
"Alright, standard literacy test... 70 points is passing for sixth grader... and the result is... 73 points." Hiroshi said, to which Olivia felt huge wash of relieve as Nata happily celebrated it with her, while Julia just huffed in reaction.
He handed the papers to Olivia, which had the official declaration, and her work which she was free to check for any errors and points to improve on.
"So, Olivia will be off foster care soon." Julia informed, which quickly took the celebrating girls attention.
"Pretty much. She should be physically able to live normally now, with wings not needing attention, and able to do her own paper work." Hiroshi clarified, as those were the reasons he was put to take care of her.
"So... I will leave you?" Olivia muttered in soft tone, as she was contemplating the implications.
"Well, if there isn't any other problems left, that should be it."
Olivia was left to look at the paper, trying to think what to say or ask, while Nata was conflicted on the matter. Sad to see her friend go, but also less trouble for her favorite person.
"But from what I have seen, and the situation we are in, I doubt you will be leaving this household in a good while."
"And now what is that meant to mean." Julia noted in stern tone, both for Olivia's sake and making sure he isn't starting to pick on them.
"She may not seem like it, but she could be still be classified as 'wild'. But that's just a hunch I have."
"...That doesn't sound any better" Julia commented, to which Hiroshi awkwardly tried to word it better.
"Uhh... How would I put this... She isn't exactly "herself". Needing a crux to feel safe.." Hiroshi explained, which Julia thought on, before giving a nod. "That's better."
Olivia was left to question in silence if what he said was true, while Nata was comforting and making sure all was fine.
"So some day, we should go check up at the station just to make sure all is fine. No need to panic, as I doubt we will separate anytime before vacation." Hiroshi reassured as day went on.
The daily routine was mostly same.
Dealing with attention seeking Nata
Dealing with combat focused Julia
Dealing with language bearing Olivia
"So I am always exhausted physically, mentally or intellectually, with no breaks in between." Hiroshi complained, as he was out drinking with Ingolf and Azhar, himself deciding to stick to lighter drinks, and Ingolf making sure no issues like last time would come.
"That's the life of a foster parent, but you should try standing up towards them." Azhar commented, feeling a light buzz already coming after few drinks.
"That's easy for you to say with your kittens. No doubts you'd be able to carry them no problem." Hiroshi clarified, to which Ingolf gave a light laugh.
"Of course it isn't the same. Not even by age. A guy living with three girls, absolutely beautiful in their own ways. That's a lot to handle. I'd like to see how Azzy is when his wife gets angry." He happily went on saying out loud, before chugging good amount of beer.
Azhar got light blush come onto his face upon hearing his point. "Hey, you try dating a giant lizard lady. But if you put it that way, then yeah, I see where you come from."
"But anyways, I didn't join just to complain." Hiroshi spoke up, as he enjoyed some salty peanuts to wash away the cider he drank. "It seems me and the crew will be ending up vacationing to Japan, my home to be specific."
"Wait, really?" Ingolf quickly got curious on the idea. "So the crew? at least you four... including the leading gals?"
"I mean... yeah, Edith, Kat and Sophia. And I wouldn't be surprised if Edith would drag Matt alongside." Hiroshi explained, as Azhar gave a warm smile.
"That sounds nice. And seeing family as well." He commented, feeling wholesome on the idea, but Ingolf was getting ideas, and both of them could guess what kind they were.
As he was about to speak up, Hiroshi stopped him before he did. "If you want to join, talk with Edith, but whatever daydreams you were having, I assure you, it won't be that pretty."

"Now where does that come from." Ingolf muttered in annoyance.
"Haven't you guys heard? Japan still has plenty of issues with bigotry towards monsters." Hiroshi explained from experience, after all it was hard point to forget.
"Well that's news for sure." Azhar noted, feeling surprised on hearing it. "And do they know?"
"Not sure, but I presume Sophia would have told Edith and Kat, but I haven't told my fosters yet, as I am not even sure how huge of trouble it will be." Hiroshi noted, clearly feeling troubled as he drank more.
"Even then, that is surprising to hear. They did couple years ago finally open that city-state, so maybe it has gotten better?" Ingolf tried to ease the fears, but even he had dropped his daydreams of asian beauties with hearing the problem.
"Better tell before next week is gone. Would be troublesome to cancel the trip by then." Azhar adviced, to which Hiroshi nodded in agreement. "I was planning this sunday."
"Speaking of. How are the girls? You guys went through a lot during that week." Ingolf noted.
"Seems everything is mostly alright... but Nata has gotten slightly more clingy if I had to say. Olivia tried to guess it was because of new moon, but it has been going on for a week now."
"We did nearly get you killed." Ingolf reminded, which Hiroshi corrected "You DID get me killed, but that's water under the bridge."
"Clearly not for Nata." Azhar spoke up. "If I remember right when tamer interrogated her to put into foster system, in her distressed murmur, she said she saw her father to be killed right in front of her eyes before Vaska took her, but that's just speculation on most parts."
"Well, she hasn't spoken about it to me... and yeah, I guess that would explain couple outbursts she has had before." Hiroshi contemplated, as he could feel the buzz coming.
"Enough about this depressing stuff." Ingolf decided to break the conversation. "The hockey match should be starting soon." He noted as he pointed to the television, as it was still just at commentary and advertising before the match.
Hours gone by, and plenty of drinks had, Hiroshi gave the good byes to Azhar and Ingolf who went their own ways, as he kept fought through the buzz to start heading home.
Slowly waddling the dark streets, with night-life passerby going by, and before long he got a call on his phone.
Taking security on a nearby wall, he noticed it was from Julia, and with a light sigh and trying to focus, he opened the call.
"Hey, Nata forced me to call to check on you." Julia spoke on other end.
"Yeah... I am fine, just heading home." He muttered in a slur, as he kept an eye on his surroundings.
"As I susp- HEY! CALM IT!.. Sorry, Nata is really pestering to get the phone."
Hiroshi gave a deep sigh, and through some contemplation, spoke up "Just... just tell her she gets to sleep with me tonight. It should calm her."
...
"There. Jeez, what is it with you two?"
"Try asking that tomorrow, I will be there soon. Bye."
With the call closed, he powered his way onwards, making sure he didn't end up in trouble.
As sun was shining in the room, Hiroshi woke up with a headache, dried drool on his cheek and looking like he has gone through a tornado.
He tried to get recollection on what happened before bed, but nothing came to his mind.
After some rest, he tried to get up, only to note a weight on him, and tossing the cover off, revealing naked Nata underneath and barely clothed himself, leading him to quickly pull the cover on top as his face flustered in a storm of surprise and emotions.
Trying his best to think his steps back, it didn't help as the thought of what he just saw didn't help recollect anything at all, most likely making him forget even more than he already had.
Not to mention, he felt a tugging, and shortly Nata's face peaking out of the cover with a wide smile. "Morning."
"M-morning.." Hiroshi replied, trying to keep himself calm, but it was hard when his mind raced on just the second glimpse he had.
"Your face is red, are you feeling alright?" Nata said with curiosity, but also her grin showed she knew what she was doing, especially as she got closer, and let her body press on his even harder.
"Y-yeah... Just... I am thirsty." Hiroshi tried to make a excuse, but Nata wasn't willing to let go of the lead she had gotten. "Oh, So am I." She muttered, as she kept on creeping closer, causing Hiroshi feel more distressed.
But before things could go too far, Nata got a slapped on back of her head, as Hiroshi noticed Julia had come.
"Alright, Romeo and Juliet. Better get up or I will make you get up." Julia demanded, to which Nata started to pout at her.
"We were just having a moment, could you give us five more minutes." Nata tried to get her off, while Hiroshi shook his head out of her sight, which Julia took note.
"Force it is, then." She said, as she rolled up Nata in the cover, before carrying her out of Hiroshi's bedroom.
After couple seconds of relief, Hiroshi quickly checked just in case, and huge sigh of relieve, he saw he had his underwear still on.
"That was too close." He muttered, before returning to routine, hoping to forget the activity that went down.
As activities continued as normal up until Julia's training, he could note something was up.
While he has gotten better at hitting her, and at least trying to dodge her counter strikes, today they hurt way more than usual.
And one especial strike, send him onto the ground, eating good amount of grass.
"What... is up... today?" Hiroshi tried to ask as he got onto his hands and knees, trying to catch his breath from the training and pain.
"How come you tolerate that she-wolf." Julia spoke sternly, as she loomed over him. "Spoiling her to allow to do anything she wants. What? Are you into teens?"
Hiroshi turned around, laying onto his back to more easily catch breath and look at Julia, who was judging him hard.
"I am not into her... I doubt I could be. She is like a little sister, to be completely honest."
"Still doesn't explain the spoiling." Julia muttered, clearly taking his words with pinch of salt, especially after what she saw this morning.
"...You remember when I explained someone being wild?"
"Like, tiny bit. What does that have to do with anything?"
"The first day that I properly got to meet Nata. She reminded me of one of my own little sisters... Hikaru... Every day she would tell me about activity in school, cheerful as ever... but the days when she doesn't speak, I know something bad happened, and I would comfort her with a hug... and on that first day."
Hiroshi slowly leaned his head, as he was lost in his thoughts. "The first day I met Nata... she was cheerful as she is today... but that night we enjoyed our time on the sofa, and eventually she ended up laying on me as I gave her a gentle hug... and she cried."
"She cried until she slept, keeping me close... not wanting to be alone..." Hiroshi explained, as he finally got enough rest, standing up.
Julia thought on the words he said, and his thoughts on someone being wild, and as she came to a resolve, she gave a light punch at his shoulder.
"You suck." She said with a small smirk, before the training continued...
Only three weeks to go...
