The café was warm. Loud. Normal.
Daemon sat between Sarada and Aira, swinging his legs.
Daemon:
“So… who are you both?”
Aira smiled.
Aira:
“I’m Aira ōtsutsuki.”
Daemon’s eyes lit up.
Daemon:
“Oh! I can do this too!”
He suddenly floated off the chair.
Straight up.
People screamed.
Chairs fell. Cups shattered.
Civilian:
“HE’S FLYING—!!”
Everyone ran.
Daemon tilted his head, confused.
Daemon:
“…Why are they running?”
Sarada’s face turned bright red.
She grabbed his leg and yanked him down.
Sarada:
“YOU’RE NOT A BIRD!”
Daemon:
“But I can fly.”
He slipped free and shot through the ceiling.
The café exploded into rubble.
The owner stared at Sarada and Aira.
Owner:
“…Cash or card?”
Sarada looked at Aira with puppy eyes.
Sarada:
“Please help me.
My dad will devour me if I ask him.”
Aira sighed, pinching her nose.
Aira:
“I didn’t think I’d pay for my love’s viral moment…
but fine.”
She paid for the entire shop.
Masio sat with Yahiko.
Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
Masio:
“Please… calm down.
And don’t destroy anything today.”
Yahiko stretched.
Yahiko:
“Hmm.
I was thinking… Himawari needs more training.”
Masio frowned.
Masio:
“What’s that coming…?”
A shooting star ripped across the sky.
Yahiko’s eyes widened.
Yahiko:
“DAD—MOVE!!”
She summoned her dragon and caught Daemon mid-air.
Daemon wriggled.
Daemon:
“Hey! Let me go!”
Yahiko:
“Who are you?!”
Hanabi stumbled out, half-asleep.
Hanabi:
“…What’s happening…?”
Daemon looked at her.
Daemon:
“Are you Hinata’s little sister?”
Hanabi nodded.
Daemon karate-chopped the dragon.
It shattered.
He crashed straight into Hanabi.
She went flying.
Hanabi (thinking):
That felt like ten tons of metal at once…
Daemon smiled.
Daemon:
“I’m Eida and Yuta’s son.
Nice to meet you.”
Hanabi saw white.
Hanabi:
“I almost saw heaven just for this intro…”
She passed out.
Daemon blinked.
Daemon:
“Aww… she couldn’t withstand me.”
He turned to Yahiko.
Daemon:
“So… who can withstand me?”
Masio panicked.
Masio:
“Sakura—go to Hanabi!!”
Daemon flew off.
Yahiko looked at Masio.
Yahiko:
“…Now what do we do with her?”
Masio:
“Take her back to her room. Carefully.”
Tsunade finished checking Yahiko.
Tsunade:
“Yahiko did good.
You made me question my own ideology.”
Sakura crossed her arms.
Sakura:
“Yeah.
She took me, Sasuke, and Naruto at once.
That grit was insane.”
Shizune squinted.
Shizune:
“…What’s that?”
They looked up.
A kid came down like a missile.
BOOM.
Four floors cracked as Daemon landed in Sakura’s arms.
Sakura skidded back, shocked.
Sakura:
“What kind of anomaly is this?!”
Daemon smiled politely.
Daemon:
“I’m Yuta and Eida’s son.
Nice to meet you.”
Sakura:
“…Who sent you here?”
Daemon:
“A tall guy with purple eyes.”
Sakura sighed.
Sakura:
“Masio… figures.”
Tsunade cracked her knuckles.
Tsunade:
“Wanna arm wrestle, kid?
You’re strong.”
Daemon shook his head.
Daemon:
“Later.
I wanna see Mama again.”
Tsunade laughed.
Tsunade:
“Sure, Mama’s boy.”
Daemon slipped inside quietly.
Eida slept beside Yuta in a hospital bed.
Boruto blinked.
Boruto:
“So… technically I’m an uncle?”
Himawari:
“And I’m an aunt…”
Amado nodded.
Amado:
“Not biologically… but in a sense, yes.”
Naruto looked at Amado.
Naruto:
“So you’re on the girl side of the family now.”
Amado paused.
Amado:
“I left my humanity when my daughter died.
Eida resembles her…
so I don’t know anymore.”
Naruto smiled.
Naruto:
“Well… that makes you a grandfather.”
Amado exhaled.
Amado:
“…Yeah.”
Hinata noticed Daemon swaying.
Hinata:
“Are you okay?”
Daemon:
“Too much flying…
I need rest.”
Hinata opened her arms.
Hinata:
“Then come snuggle with me.”
Daemon curled up instantly.
Naruto laughed.
Naruto:
“Someone’s more excited to be a grandparent than me.”
Hinata blushed hard.
