Mu Ningxue’s Arrow

Whether to go back or stay, Mo Fan actually didn't care anymore.

After all, what was bound to happen, would eventually happen.

And when everyone expressed their desire to return, Lu Zhenghe, though anxious, was helpless.

  The night passed without incident.

The next morning, everyone began packing their belongings, preparing to evacuate.

Lu Zhenghe had originally intended to dissuade them again, but the moment he looked up, he saw pairs of snow-white wings, approaching in an orderly fashion from that direction, their feathers adorning the heavy sky under a faint glow.

Seeing this, he no longer tried to stop them.

Simirly, Mo Fan saw them too, but he was more curious if Head Instructor Zhan Kong was reliable!

Everyone walked towards the city outskirts, and as far as the eye could see, there were still the moss-covered and overgrown train tracks, cutting through the forest and extending into the distance, leading to a city that was practically paradise for everyone present.

Now, everyone was eager to return to a pce with people, to a warm home. But after only a few steps, they ran into a group of people, dressed in uniform, simir in style to the Guardian Mages, but with a significant difference in color.

There were about twenty to thirty people in this group, and each of them had a giant snow-white eagle beside them. The eagles had full chests, sharp eyes, and their wings hung low, almost touching the ground; if fully spread, they would likely span two meters!

“Guardian Mages, are they here to rescue us?” Jingjing’s face lit up with joy upon seeing the Guardian Mages.

“Their uniforms are a bit strange,” Zhao Manyan said.

  “Be careful,” Mo Fan warned.

Upon hearing Mo Fan’s warning, everyone was startled. At this moment, Lu Zhenghe’s gaze also rested on him.

Lu Nian nodded slightly, slowly raised his right hand, and said to the group of mages behind him, all dressed in Guardian Mage uniforms: “Kill all extraneous personnel.”

Lu Nian said this so lightly, as if he were merely instructing them to take these people away.

However, the order he gave was to kill!

This killing order stunned Lu Zhenghe, who hurriedly forced a stiff smile and said, “Big brother, have you made a mistake? These are all Pearl Institute and Imperial Capital students on a training expedition with me.”

“That’s why they must all be silenced. I don’t want either party to know about this,” Lu Nian said with an utterly calm tone. From his unblinking attitude when giving the kill order, it was clear that he had no idea how many people had died by his hand!

Behind Lu Nian, a surge of killing intent instantly permeated the air, coming from the twenty-odd military mages. These individuals were all Intermediate Mage Level, and when their gaze fixed on this group of somewhat naive training students, it was as if a pack of fierce wolves had set their sights on a flock of sheep.

Ice Locks flew forth, Lightning Bolts gathered across the sky.

Everyone immediately used their Magic Tools for defense, except for Ming Cong, who, being bound, didn't have time to use his Magic Tool and was directly bsted to death on the spot.

  “Bang bang bang!!!”

Under the protection of their Magic Tools, the others managed to withstand the first wave of attacks, and Mo Fan, quick-witted, seized Lu Zhenghe: “Idiot, your subordinates are making a move, I’ll take him out first.”

Everyone looked at the destroyed Ming Cong and understood that these Guardian Mages were not joking. They truly intended to kill them!

In fact, they showed no mercy whatsoever!

  Lu Nian’s brows furrowed instantly.

He had actually been considering waiting for Lu Zhenghe to come over before making his move, but his impatience led him to directly issue the command. In his eyes, these were merely students who had never experienced true combat or real war, and facing such a massacre, they would likely just stand there bnkly, waiting to die.

However, he never expected Mo Fan to grab his younger brother at the first opportunity.

“B-big brother, save me, save me!” Lu Zhenghe cried out with a sobbing voice.

Lu Nian was decisive in killing, without a trace of mercy. Mo Fan, this guy, was also incredibly ruthless; he had seen with his own eyes how he dealt with Liao Mingxuan earlier.

“Interesting,” Lu Nian took a puff from his pipe, waved his hand, and motioned for the group of mages behind him to temporarily cease their magical bombardment.

“What kind of dog are you? Listen to me, I, Liao Mingxuan, am the son of Liao Feng of the Imperial Capital Magic Association! If you kill me, I’ll make your entire family die!!!” Liao Mingxuan, seeing the destruction stop, immediately screamed hysterically.

“Oh?” Lu Nian raised an eyebrow, and a brown light suddenly fshed in his eyes.

With a flicker of brown light, Liao Mingxuan, who had been screaming frantically just a moment ago, suddenly froze.

He couldn't make any sound, his body became stiff, and he couldn't even move a single finger.

Immediately, Liao Mingxuan lost his breath.

  “Idiot.”

Mo Fan showed no emotion regarding the deaths of Liao Mingxuan and Ming Cong. Besides, he didn't even consider why people would worry about anything when acting in the wilderness?

“Speak, what do you want?” Lu Nian said calmly.

“What do you want? We have no grievances with you, why do you want to kill us?” Mui Ningjiao’s entire face was flushed with anger.

When she asked this question, her body still trembled slightly. Clearly, she was afraid, yet she forced herself to calm down. The opponent’s sudden and unprovoked killing was too bizarre and the most difficult to contend with. Fortunately, Mo Fan seemed to have immediately grasped the opponent’s weakness by controlling the traitor Lu Zhenghe.

“Oh? You’re a granddaughter of the Mui family, aren’t you? You have some guts.”

Lu Nian praised her, then looked at Mo Fan and said, “How about this, a life for a life. You choose, kid, who gets to live.”

“The girl next to you is pretty good, your retionship isn’t ordinary, is it? You release that idiot Lu Zhenghe, and I can guarantee not to kill her,” Lu Nian grinned, revealing a mouthful of rge yellow teeth.

Mo Fan gnced at Mui Ningjiao and Mu Ningxue beside him, then looked back at Lu Nian and said, “I can spare him, but I want to know, why are you doing this?”

Mo Fan felt Mu Ningxue behind him had already made a move, so he immediately started stalling for time.

After some hesitation, Lu Nian still spoke about the Evil System matter. Of course, he portrayed himself as extremely noble.

“Very well, you’ve said enough. The next time I see you, I’ll twist your head off,” Mo Fan finished speaking, and the fmes in his hand directly enveloped Lu Zhenghe’s body.

  “Ah ah ah ah!!!!”

“What are you doing!!” Lu Nian paused, utterly surprised that Mo Fan would actually kill him.

At the same time, behind Mo Fan, a fierce and incomparable icy aura surged.

Her snow-white long hair fluttered strikingly, her exquisite face exuded an intimidating aura without anger, and her graceful, lithe figure floated lightly amidst a rge, spontaneously condensed field of ice crystals!

  “Ice Crystal Bow!”

Mu Ningxue instantly transformed into an Ice Queen, and between her outstretched arms appeared a magical bow capable of turning this world into a vast expanse of snow-covered white!

Snow danced, ice permeated, the earth froze frantically, and even the low-lying clouds turned into patches of ice clouds!

Mu Ningxue directly unleashed the most extreme cold destruction with her domain power. Her Soul-level Ice Seed, combined with the power of the Ice Crystal Bow, which, when fully unleashed, was no less powerful than High Level magic, still possessed the ability to bind and harm Lu Nian and his group.

  “Cng cng cng!!!”

With this arrow, several of Lu Nian’s subordinates were directly annihited, and the others were instantly frozen in ice.
