LIX: THE REAL TRUTH

“OOMPH!!!” BRAAKO SCOFFED after Magnus had tackled him in the gut with his right shoulder, causing him to fly backwards.

Due to the astounding, newfound control that he had over his emotions, Magnus unlocked another gravity-based power that he didn’t even know that he had: Enhanced Momentum.

Breaking through the incredible gravitational force that was created by Braako’s Immobility power with effortless ease, Magnus sent Braako flying five miles back towards Voltair City.

Soaring over the City’s golden security walls, Magnus and Braako flew through Voltair City.

Making sure that they didn’t crash into, or through, any skyscrapers or other buildings was Magnus, who controlled where he wanted to take Braako’s body with his own self along with the help of his telekinesis.

Still confused by how Magnus was able to move him was Braako, who allowed his ‘brother’ to fly him back into the city.

  _

How can this be? HOW CAN THIS BE?!

How can this oath-breaking thrack move me?!

  Tis not possible!

  TIS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

  No… No, no, no!

I cannot allow this oath-breaker to make such a mockery of me before the eyes of these worthless Voltairan Urchins.

  I CANNOT!

  I CANNOT!!!!

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!” Braako screamed aloud as he used all of his mental and emotional strength to stop Magnus from flying him across the skyways.

Clasping both of his hands together to create one big and powerful fist, Braako raised his combined fists upwards and slammed down into the center of Magnus’s back.

“AGH!!!” Magnus cried out in pain as he immediately went flying downwards.

Stopping Magnus’s plummet was Braako’s knee, which he quickly drove into the center of Magnus’s face, breaking his nose in the process.

As Magnus soared high up into the skyways Braako reached out towards him with his opened right hand, clutching onto his waist with his telekinesis.

“GET OVER HERE, YOU OATH-BREAKING THRACKER!!!!” Braako raged as he pulled Magnus’s fading body back over to him.

Balling up his left fist, Braako flung it forward and hit Magnus in the right side of his jaw with his telekinesis-shielded knuckles.

Magnus then flew towards and blasted through a skyscraper, causing it to slide and fall diagonally towards the ground below in devastating fashion.

Even in his currently dazed state of mind, Magnus saw the top falling half of the skyscraper that Braako had just telekinetically punched him through and quickly latched onto it with his own telekinesis.

Magnus then repaired the skyscraper with his telekinesis as he fell down towards the ground, leaving only a faint crack in its ‘mentally resealed’ outer-shell.

“What the thrack???” Braako huffed in confusion after witnessing the skyscraper literally repair itself.

Lowering his brow, Braako growled, “Urgh… Oath-Breaker… OATH-BREAKER!!!”

Braako then blasted off over the top of the skyscraper.

Hovering above the ‘repaired’ skyscraper now, Braako looked down with his glowing eyes to locate Magnus… But he couldn’t find him.

Magnus was nowhere in sight, which confused Braako grandly until…

  BOOP!

“You should really get a better control over your emotions, ‘brother’,” Magnus said from behind Braako after popping out of a self-created ‘Gravity Orb’, causing the Commanding-Leader of the Galactic Deciders’ eyes to widen.

  SLAM!!!!

Kicking Braako in the center of his back with the bottom of his right foot, Magnus watched as he went plummeting towards the city streets below.

Creating another Gravity Orb, Magnus watched as Braako fell into it.

  BOOP!

“Huh???” Braako huffed in bewilderment after he had spewed out of another Gravity Orb that appeared to Magnus’s left.

“Grandest greetings… RAH!!!” Magnus quaintly said… AND THEN ROARED before driving his telekinetically-fueled left elbow into the middle of Braako’s face, causing his nose to break now.

As Braako flipped and flung backwards across Voltair City’s skyways Magnus flew towards him like a rocket.

Reaching Braako’s faltering position in a matter of just a few milli-cycles, Magnus caught him by clutching his right hand around his throat.

“URGH!” Braako grunted as Magnus kept him under his unbreakable grip.

“You knew that this day-cycle would come, Braako,” Magnus said to his ‘brother’ as they both hovered above Voltair City in the still ‘pelting’ rain. “You came for me on Rannuk. I lived there in peace. Do you hear why I just said, you thrack?! IN PEACE!!!”

Braako’s face started to turn purple as Magnus angrily continued whilst his eyes glowed bright, stark white, “You could have left me alone, left me in my peace… BUT YOU COULD NOT DO THAT. No. You and the others had to hunt me down. You had to break THIRTREEN worlds to find me. THIRTEEN!!! Thirteen worlds, along with Rannuk, that were once teaming with grand and innocent life-forms! Life-forms who you and the others mercilessly DECIMATED all because of what? BECAUSE OF WHAT, YOU SKOGGER?!?! Because you wanted to find me? Because you wanted to make me pay for my ‘crimes’ against Voltaira? AGAINST THE EMPEROR??? Is that the truth, Braako? The terrible truth? IS IT?! Answer me, Braako! ANSWER ME!!!”

Clutching onto Magnus’s wrist with both of his hands, Braako grunted out as his blood shot eyes grew even redder, “Urgh… Ugh… ‘Twuh-Twas the only wuh-waaaaay… URGH!”

“No… NO,” Magnus said whilst his face began to shake. “NOOO!!!!! You destroyed

all of those poor, INNOCENT worlds on behalf of the emperor’s word… HIS LIES!!!”

Pulling Braako in closer towards him, Magnus gritted, “The emperor lied to us, Braako! HE LIED TO ALL OF US! There were never any Kren! There were never any ‘Kren-Aligned Worlds’ or races! ‘TWAS A LIE, BRAAKO! A GRAND LIE! A grand lie that was carefully conceived and carried out to mask the truth! THE TERRIBLE TRUTH! THE REAL TRUTH! The terrible and real truth of expansion… EXPANSION OF THE VOLTAIRAN EMPIRE! HIS EMPIRE!!!”

“Nuh-No,” Braako grunted. “You… You lie. You lie, Oath-Breaker.”

“No. I do not lie, Braako,” Magnus replied whilst shaking his head in the pouring rain. “The emperor lied. The emperor lied to all of us. He has been ever since we were childlings. After he took us from our home world. Our TRUE home world of… PLANET CRIX.”

Braako’s eyes then widened as Magnus nodded, “Yes, Braako. Your ears do not deceive you. We, along with the others, all originally hailed from Crix. A world that was once a literal ‘paradise’ before the emperor’s cursed wrath fell upon and infected it like plague. A world that the emperor made us break. Made ME break. All for the expansion of his thracking empire.”

After learning of all of this shocking information, Braako began to look downwards with watery eyes as Magnus said, “We were used as pawns, brother. All of us were. Pawns for Emperor Voltair and his accursed Empire. THRACKING PAWNS…”

“No,” Braako muttered underneath Magnus’s less tightened grip. “Nuh-No…”

  “Yes, Braako… YES,” Magnus nodded.

  “You… You lie. You lie…”

“No, Braako… BROTHER. I do-- OOMPH!!!”

Magus then FLEW BACKWARDS several hundreds of feet after Braako struck him with a powerful burst of telekinetic energy that emitted from his body.

As the Breaker of Worlds soared far away, Braako clenched his fists down at his sides so tightly that golden blood began to leak from his inner palms.

Then, raising his head towards the stormy skyways above, Braako raged at the top of his lungs, “YOU LIIIIIIIIIIIIE!!!!!!!!!”
