As the space laser bore down on us, I knew we had to act fast. Channeling my inner dumb, I activated Infinite Stupidity, feeling the power of pure idiocy course through my veins. A Stupid Shield formed around me, deflecting the space laser's beam. The impact sent shockwaves through the ground, but my shield held firm.
With a grunt of effort, I pushed against the immobilization ray, channeling Stupid Surge to break free from its grasp. The surge of dumb energy was like a wave crashing over me, and I emerged from the stasis field, my body buzzing with power.
In that moment, luck was on my side. Idiot's Luck kicked in, and I found myself moving with an otherworldly grace, dodging the hail of bullets and energy blasts as if they were moving in slow motion. The agents, caught off guard by my sudden movement, accidentally fired at each other, their weapons discharging in a chaotic symphony.
John Smart watched in amazement as I weaved through the battlefield, his smug expression fading as he realized I wasn't going down without a fight. "Impressive," he said, drawing a new weapon from his belt. "But it's going to take more than luck to beat me."
Drones emerged from the skies and ground, their whirring blades and laser cannons targeting me from all angles. But I was ready. Calling forth the Army of the Dumb, a horde of foolish creatures materialized around me, their dumb antics distracting the enemy and buying me precious time.
Stolen story; please report.
I turned my attention to Misty, who lay immobilized on the ground. Activating Dumb Regeneration, a wave of stupid energy washed over her, restoring her legs and easing her pain. She neighed softly, her eyes regaining their fiery determination as she rose to her hooves, ready to rejoin the fight.
John Smart continued to talk smack, his voice barely audible over the din of battle. "You think you can beat me with your dumb tricks? I've faced worse and come out on top."
He fired a barrage of different weapons at me—laser pistols, plasma rifles, even a good old-fashioned flame thrower. But I dodged them all, my movements guided by Idiot's Luck, weaving and bobbing like a boxer in the ring.
As I danced through the battlefield, I could see Mizuno struggling to her feet, her holographic displays flickering back to life. She looked at me, her eyes glazed over. "We were wrong," she murmured. "The math is irrefutable. Dumb and smart need to be brainwashed and ruled by elite geniuses. That's the balance of the world."
With a final surge of power, I unleashed Radiant Burst, a blast of radiant idiocy that tore through the battlefield, sending agents flying and drones spinning out of control. John Smart, caught off guard by the intensity of the blast, fumbled for a device in his pocket—a clever gadget that deflected my attack towards Mizuno.
The deflected burst struck Mizuno square in the chest, sending her crashing to the ground. I rushed to her side, my heart pounding with concern. "Mizuno!" I cried out, but she was already losing consciousness, her breath coming in ragged gasps.
John Smart stood over us, his expression triumphant. "Checkmate," he said, his voice cold and calculating. "You've put up a good fight, but in the end, the geniuses always win."
But I wasn't ready to concede defeat. Not by a long shot. With a determined glance at my fallen comrades, I knew what I had to do.
