Hello, friends. Just wanted to give you a quick update.
When I first started GOA it was a ‘see if I can’ sort of side project, something to get me through summer break while the kids were home. I didn’t really intend for it to be anything special, but of course I ended up taking it way too seriously, and now it’s ballooned into something far more complex and involved than I’d originally planned. I don’t like leaving things halfway done, so believe me when I say I’m committed to finishing the book, come hell or high water. But with the school year approaching, things will be looking a little different for me, so far as my writing schedule.
I have two other books currently being serialized on Tapas which I am contractually obligated to keep up on. That means I’ll have to prioritize them going forward, now that my schedule will be returning to normal. For GOA, that means less frequent updates, though I will still do my best to turn out at least 1-2 chapters a week, or more if I can. Just know if I get wrapped up in another project and updating GOA takes me a little longer than planned, that I haven’t forgotten you my dear readers, or this book. I will finish gOD OF aURA, or die working on it—that is my promise to you. I’m just sorry it’s going to take me a little longer than originally planned.
Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.
In the meantime, I’ll recommend you check out The Embervane Legacy on Tapas. There’s something in it for everyone, plus it’s monetized, and your patronage will ensure I can continue to bring you these stories. Otherwise I’ll have to start working at Panda Express to support Mr. Ess and his mobile game spending habits. Though maybe it would be worth it, since I’ll get an employee discount… The things I would do for their honey walnut shrimp…
Alright, that’s all for now, folks. Sorry it wasn’t a new chapter, I’ll get to work on it ASAP! Who needs sleep?! Not this girl! Ok, maybe a little sleep.
See you in the next chapter!
