"-heh, heh, heh, he, heh he! I don't like waiting, but the people in my way, they never learn..." I mutter to myself, standing in the corner as Anibeli is doing the dreaded task, paperwork. Even while she is aboard the Traveler, she is inundated by reports. Now, instead of ship readiness reports or the like, it's datatype on trade routs and the like. I think.

She told me, but I freely admit without hesitation, that I forgot. Oops. Oh woe is me. However will I live with myself? Oh wait, I'm not alive. What a pity.

It has been over a month and we're nearing our destination. Anibeli has slowly been acclimating to her arm. It is, in my opinion, better then her old one from a logical standpoint.

But organics were not logical. Even I am not entirely logical, though I do try. Anyhow, it was a very, very capable arm, by human standards. Very high end, as these things come.

It was far, far stronger then a baseline human arm, was reinforced to most normal thi gs, like ballistics and laser based weaponry. Guaranteed to stop bolter rounds, or so the magos biologis said. I would prefer not to find out.

She was still crushing the occasional pen, much to her annoyance and my amusement, but the regimen the doctors gave her was helping. My scarab, now named Rosenthal the third, not that I will remember that, has become her new favorite thing. She can pet it, and not crush it like a can. The problem is, she took the thing.

Oh, I could get it back, but then she would pester me, wasting my most valuable time... hmmm. But it could be funny... something to ponder.

But we were, as I said, nearing our destination. Ani has been insistent that she would be with me from beginning to ending. Even when I got her grandfather to try and dissuade her, she stood firm. It's good to know she cares...

If I could smile, I would. Times Luke these make me regret being what I am... But, enough of that. Music. That will help, or at least, it will delay the inevitable. If only for a while...
