Long ago, there existed a tree of life called Eternity. Its roots carried the flow of unimaginable power, and from its first fruit were born two beings: the God of Creation and the God of Destruction, keepers of balance across all realms.
As other gods emerged from Eternity, the Realm of Gods began to stir with unrest. Though the God of Life proposed that Creation and Destruction lead the divine hierarchy, not all gods accepted this order. A rogue faction of deities, jealous of their authority, plotted to overthrow the God of Creation. They knew that if he fell, balance would shatter—and with it, the God of Destruction would perish as well.
Unaware of their plans, the God of Creation labored to shape the Human Realm. Just as he completed it, the rogue gods struck. Though he was powerful, he had just finished creating a realm and was weakened—his strength comparable only to a high divine god. Despite their combined might, the rogue gods could not defeat him entirely.
In a final act of foresight, the God of Creation summoned the Nine Divine Beasts, vessels of his will, and entrusted them with the power to protect Eternity. Then, with the last of his strength, he ended his own life.
Enraged by his brother’s demise, the God of Destruction succumbed to his darkness. Consumed by fury and imbalance, he transformed into the entity known as The Abyss. With a single strike, he annihilated the Realm of Gods, killing many divine beings. Some, however, escaped through a portal within Eternity, fleeing to distant realms.
While the Nine Divine Beasts guarded the Tree of Eternity, the tree pulsed with radiant light. From its glow emerged a spirit made of wind, its voice echoing like the breath of the world:

"The power of the God of Creation flows through Eternity. He will be reborn in the Human Realm as a mortal."
The first Beast asked, "When will he be born? And where?"
"Time flows differently here," the spirit replied. "One day for us equals ten years in the human world. With a special gift, you may travel six hours before his birth—but the exact location is unknown. Humans gestate for nine months."
The third Beast said eagerly, "We can find our master. It will be simple."
The spirit raised a warning, "Stop. You have lingered so long after your master’s death. You know what has occurred since."
The sixth Beast yawned lazily, "Why should we care? We are only here to guard the portal."
The spirit’s warning was cut short. With a sudden strike, The Abyss pierced the spirit’s core, silencing it forever. The Nine Beasts tried to stop him, but even together, they were no match.
"We cannot defeat him," the first Beast admitted. "He is as strong as our master. There is no balance left. We must use the sealing technique of the one god whose name is forgotten. Ninth, you will travel through the portal and find the master in his new body."
"Understood," the ninth Beast replied, and leaped into the portal. As the others unleashed the sealing technique, the Abyss roared, "Do you think this will contain me forever?"
"No," the first Beast said gravely, "but we must try. What shall we do with the master in his new form?"
"Kill him," The Abyss demanded.
"He is a child now," the fourth Beast protested.
"It matters not," The Abyss hissed. "Remove all threats. When he dies, I will have the power to destroy everything."
Though the seal held, the Abyss’s lingering power seeped into the realms, corrupting beings with dark energy and granting them strength beyond their limits.
Thus began the age of chaos—and the God of Creation was reborn in the Human Realm as a child named Yiten Kazaki.
