Chapter 1.4: Origin of Origins- The Vessel complete.

Story and characters written and created by JustSomeNumbers

Painstaking and poured over with a minute precision to details. This was the only apt description to describe the level of thought and precision Interventus put into this project. The vessel Interventus had created was finally ready to accept the souls he had collected. But this meant nothing to the now almost entirely translucent former member of divinity. Interventus now had a nearly perfect vessel, and the souls required to operate it. The trickiest part was to ensure the mesh-work of the souls into one unified vessel. Mounting this indomitable feat of engineering and divinity would be akin to cracking the very fabric of the universalities primordial laws- no god truly “creates” a soul. Souls of the mortals were forged from the shores of universality, and eventually returned or split anew. In the very rare occasion a god takes a liking to a specific mortal- they could ensure the continued replenishment by means of extending the cycle of specific souls when they return to the shores of a sandy beach- and that would only last so long till the boredom ruled out the possibility.

Additionally the merging of souls was a thought that was inconceivable. It went against the very fabric of reality- and the divine nature of the aspects of creation. Moreover, the consequences of longevity take their toll on even the divine. Mortals seemingly fuss endlessly over the shortening or lengthening of their own lifespans- so what toll would the vessel take with seemingly no limit to their lifespan? Would it really even matter? After all the point of this endeavor was the sole avenging of this failure of a brother. The loss of his dear Divinae Felix. The mix of emotion and rage from the failed attempt at justice swelled as the final machinations were being pondered. It was decided.

The life of the vessel is of no consequence to me. All that matters now is the downfall of this ridiculous and devilish faction. And the vengeance of my fall from grace.

This resulted in the vessel having no restrictions many other mortals would have in place specifically to prevent longevity or the power that was about to be unleashed. Rather than pose the question of how the vessel might fare, the more poignant and concerning to Interventus was if it could simply last long enough to either dismantle or disrupt any future aspirations the other gods would ever have. However- to achieve this goal, the vessel was still to function. And the function is supremely important if it was to live a long and vengeful life against the divine. Since the matter of power and life wasn’t entirely out of his direct control- Interventus maintained three principled thoughts when creating his tool of vengeance.

First was the merging of the souls he had collected into one being. One supreme vessel of origin. The vessel would bring the tools the souls would power and wield. To ensure no outside interference it would be pressing to preserve the unique qualities of each soul. But how would this appear in the first place if each soul was to inhabit and control the same moving vessel to interact with the physical world? Slowly realizing the complexity of the question he had just posed- Interventus was reminded of the fact it wasn’t a question of how, as much as it was a question of if it would work. In theory, since the three souls are all originating from differing universalities that were only accessible to Interventus; it would reason that the anchor that would bind the souls (the vessel) would also need to serve as the place of rest and sustainment. In summary the vessel would both need to house, and maintain the souls while maintaining their individuality as not to open a pathway for divine interference. A thought came to him while thinking of the possible combinations and derivations from possible solutions- a thought occurred to him. Why not create a schism within the vessel? It would present its challenges down the road to eventual vengeance- sure, but the potential was there. It was a brilliant idea! The vessel not only would house the three individual souls as separate entities- the aspects of each soul would be thoroughly constituted as a valid vector for growth at the same time. Allowing not only limitless growth in three separate directions of thought due to the nature of individuality- but additionally allows the shifting of responsibilities and burden between the three. In effect, this compromise would pretty much triple the thought power and growing potential. The only side effect being a potential backlash from having three separate and equal ‘hosts’ to a singular vessel. Though it didn’t matter to Interventus, all that mattered was that this vessel ruined the livelihoods and aspirations of the divine. Nothing more.

Second came the notion of durability. While the vessel's physical aspect took the brunt of the remaining lifespan of the interventus- it wasn’t to make the vessel physically durable but rather immortal. The compromise was a stroke of genius to Interventus. It would mean a certain amount of…damage to the mental capacities of the vessel- but as much as of problem that would be the need for growth and sustainability evidently outweighed the concern. The lack of resistances to any magiks or illness would be no concern if the vessel could simply return to life. Still, if Interventus was to ensure the correct motivations for growth and subsequent direction of vengeance- there needed to be an apt punishment for death. Otherwise the vessels would have no need to fear death and act recklessly. The vessel needed to be perfect against this faction of the divine. Thus interventus went forward with forcing the pain the vessel felt to be in-escapable during death. Hopefully this would deter any mal-informed attempts to deviate from this path of growing powerful. Interventus was finally getting to as his existence was slowly fading as the dust of time was catching up to him. Quickly, adaptive housing for the souls were put in place and the adequate adjustments made.

Lastly and arguably the most important- was the power. If the vessel didn’t have the capacity to fell a god, the entire purpose was for naught. Thus extreme emphasis was needed here, if anywhere else. Interventus poured every ounce of his remaining being into this aspect's manna signature. If manna was a mortal’s capacity to utilize manna particulates to use magiks, manna signature was the capacity for what and how much. To this end three specific blessings no other being could comprehend. The first of which was every Aspect of death Interventus had received. The second was the unique ability for rapid regeneration, something his vessel could not control and would always be active. He called this more passive blessing “Enx Magikas”- forcing the vessel to revert to a fully healthy state within about one or two rotations of the mortal cycles at first, but would slowly develop into rapid regeneration. In congruence with his immortality- this essentially made the vessel heal back to full strength when reviving- which had the interesting combination of longer lasting pain receptors, which didn’t matter to interventus. Finally, as to ensure the growth of the power of the vessel he bestowed one unique aspect custom designed with the combination of the three souls in mind. This would take shape as each soul receives its conviction. As he bestowed this particular aspect he felt the final traces of his power leave him- what manner of blessing was this? To take such unprecedented power? Surely it was because of the fact the vessel had three souls as opposed to one. But regardless, this appears to have given the vessel…

  “Emperors…. will? Intriguing.”

Interventus spent every last particulate of his being on bestowing this vessel everything he possibly could to both break and force the rules to his advantage. This last blessing was the icing on the cake.

The ability to steal other blessings huh? They’ll definitely be in for a rude awakening when the meet him… haha-

Bestowing a true name of the original souls, but a combined truth of the vessel's name as a shield to hide behind. The vessel of vengeance was complete. Born unto the world as a blight to other divine beings- one being was sent for the sole purpose of uprooting any and all aspirations of divine control. These individuals- no, this person would be the one to enact his vengeance.

Hiding the vessel on an asteroid inbound for impact in one of the upper regions of the pangea, as to hide its existence from the gods- the vessel descended upon the sky from the realm of hevi. Interventus’s last golden cracks were formed, and a shattered dust of gold faded to the wind before Vita Divinae in the chambers of the game of the gods in hevi. With Interventus gone, the cracks of time began to slowly resume. There was nothing else to do, but hope everything would turn out as he expected. Interventus understood putting a singular being of disruption wouldn’t be the largest or flashiest objective, but it would at least be something. The feeling was similar to tossing a game of chess over the table for the simple reason of anger. One final fuck you to those who wronged him.

The Vessel, now alone in Euros with no possibility of return or permanent death, was set in motion. A meteor shower began over the twilight skies of the pangean continent. A stunning mix of purple, blue and the starry golden yellow streaked across the magnitude of the stars- Various races were probably conducting celebrations or observational ceremonies. One meteor however, strayed from its charted course- it danced in orbits of the three various moons, just narrowly missing a gravely unfortunate impact. First it passed the farthest and largest moon, a beautiful watery body of water that had an entrancing deep naval blue hue. Then it whisked away to the second moon, much smaller- but holding a greyish shimmer of sandy white particulates. The second moon orbited the third, which was the closest and second largest moon- a giant green sphere filled with mesmerizing patterns. Resisting the powerful pull of gravity it continued straight for its destined landing zone.

In a forested clearing in the southern aspects of the pangea, giant trees swayed side to side. Their dark reddish brown bark has an appearance of gentle dignification. The deep red and light purple leaves provide moonlight shade to the various critters above. Small animals scattered around the clearing tending to avoid each other. Glowing blue plants radiated a small warming light from the manna in the air, mixed with a faint glowing green or yellow from various mixings of herbs infused with the magikal properties of manna. As wind swept through the trees and plants, a cool breeze shifted the stagnant wildlife into a sleeping dance of playful movement. Insects diligently moving about with purpose beneath the undergrowth- shining valiantly with vitality in comparison to their much much larger sister species. The lumbering moving logs feasted on whole patches of grass and shrubbery at a time- giant ants moved timber to and from a palace made with a mountain side just out of view from the clearing.

An impact startling the whole of this pleasant scene. A roaring clap followed by the screech of cracking air heralded the bright burst of light as a star fell from the skies above. Narrowly missing this ideal clearing of safety- a giant rumbling reverberation shook the area surrounding a rather large crystalline object. A large purple crystal had made an impact from the divine realm above- as it settled in the dirt with moonlight glistening its pristine reflective properties- it started to slowly disintegrate. The Crystal itself seemed to de-materialize in a small dissipating cloud of beautiful golden particles. Housed inside the crystal was a strange, fragile ‘human’ with snow white hair. Strangely- this human had the appearance of an effeminate male- only around his early teens or perhaps late adolescence. As the crystal removed itself gently from captivating the human embedded inside- a heartbeat as soft as felt began to churn the life of a being unbeknownst to the rest of the world. As its feeble heart-rate began to stabilize and grow steady- the various glowing plants began to dim. The trees, old enough to tell long stories of the formation of the world before- began to wilt and rot. The giant ants held in place by an unknown force started to collapse and decompose. An Orc scout, who saw the beauty of the crystal and its disintegration started to feel their manna leave them at an unhealthy rate. Struggling to turn around and sprint as fast as he could- he started to slow down to an eventual stop. Falling over his body was turned into a shell of the brawny strength it almost saved. All of this seemingly fueled the human’s health. A starting push to awaken it. The night twilight began to startle- moving away to make glorious stages for the dawnbreak of the sun.

Silas Vivens Infernum was set upon the world as of this day.
