In the world of my story, every person is given one of five unique quests. One of them — which you may already know — is the World Tree quest.
Each quest requires collecting four key items, obtained by overcoming challenges like the deadly Snowflake Labyrinth — where players solve puzzles to earn their first item.

At this stage in the story, players now have access to Comm Crystals — magical items that allow communication across great distances.
So here’s the big question...
Option 2 for a few reasons:
1 — The system in this world is all about efficiency and correcting imbalance, so it makes more sense for it to just keep the same tests for everyone and limit communication instead of changing the puzzles for each person.
2 — It’s also a much fairer way to handle things. Everyone gets the same challenge, no one can shortcut their way through with a spoiler someone else found.
3 — And honestly, from a writing perspective, it’s just easier for me. Making small changes to puzzles for each character sounds cool in theory, but it’d be super time-consuming and probably not viable long-term.
How should information-sharing work for these quests?
