As I crashed into the raider it raised it arms as I crashed into its body pushing the warrior back, it was significantly weaker than it predecessor.
The Raider raised its hammer and met my club trying to contest me in strength, a battle he was losing spectacularly I might add. Eventually he was forced to retreat as his allies tried to swarm me but a quick burst of intent and they where pulled away by my domain.
My opponents spark of intelligence was geared at observing me. Why send this half baked warrior to face me? I looked around trying to see if there was a trap of some sorts. Otherwise this was a massive expenditure of resources, which either meant they could easily make these raider guys, or it was trap.
Resuming the battle this time I tried to sense anything approaching however whatever their plan was it didn't include anything on the ground or under it.
Holding his Hammer in a lock I used my free hand to punch into the Undead's solar plexus winding him as he bowled over. Taking the opportunity at his exposed neck I summoned my [Daemonic Goblin Bane] the cursed dagger drove down on the warriors neck region. As I struck down my [Flow of Combat] skill alerted me to an attack seemingly coming from nowhere. Dodging the attack I saw the familiar flare of black flame. Looking up I saw a figure draped in long white cloth, their frame was vaugely feminine. Inspecting the figure I received a new system screen.

I would bet an arm and leg that the figure was in fact the Seer. Apparently their was away to disguise one's system pop-up though apparently the system sold you out if you changed your name.
"The Seer I presume?" I ask the creature wary as if it wielded the Necrotic Fire better then the Raider than I had a hard fight ahead of me, although I wondered why they weren't committing completely to the ploy as the Jarl wasn't around.
As the seconds stretched on as me and the Seer watched each other I checked in and saw that we had managed to remain steadfast In our ability to hold the narrow corridors as retaking them without my direct involvement would be a huge pain. Then like a whipcrack the unmoving floating Seer started dishing out Blasts of Necrotic as the Raider came and tried to distract me.
Thankfully my skill which I acquired what fell like a lifetime ago. Using my domain to my advantage I threw it at the raider like car keys with a toddler.
"Why are you on your own? Your Jarl too busy shaking his knees in fear" I stated it like a question but in reality I was trying to goade a reaction from the cloth clad figure.
"You know not or whom you speak of, false divine" the Seer spoke in concise syllables and without a detectable emotion.
"Well I would contest the part of being a false divine—" I was interrupted, quite rudely I might add by a Necrotic Fire Ball to the face to the which I dodged around it as I was not playing around with it.
Ah, screw this flying McGee bullshit, running forward I created a long tentacle from the waves of earth around my feet. Running up I used it as spring board launching toward the Seer. To distract the Seer I had used a small amount of [Floramancy] on the trees surrounding her, or at least I think its a her, though for undead I don't think it matters, right? Eh, back to the fight, as the Seer whipped back to me panicking the Seer raised their hands summoning a plume of fire.
Flying through the air and still bound loosely by the laws of my boy Sir Isaac Newton. Which unfortunately for me at this moment meant I was hurdling towards some very not nice flames. Summoning a [Force Field] I hoped that it would prevent the Necrotic Fire from hitting me.
The Seer was knocked out of the sky as I crashed into the them. I found out two things as I crashed into the Necrotic fire, one my [Force Field] did in fact block the flames, and two I did not put enough magic into said [Force field] so now as I was tackling the Draugur Seer and Hurtling towards the treeline the black fire scorched my upper body. Using the emergency fire extinguisher capabilities of my cloak I accomplished my goal of not being on fire and also encapsulated the Seer In it. Or at least I thought I did as right before I crashed in the ground the Seer began to glow and in a flash of light the Draugur Elite poofed.

As I gave a forest floor I nice big hug with large chunks of Cosmic Ice Clinging to my armor. Ugh, standing up as quick I checked my surroundings looking for the Seer and saw nothing and I heard was the far off sounds of the Second wave army. Walking out of the treeline I saw the Raider battling the waves of rocks coming at him. Checking my resources, I saw that the fire did a shit ton of damage and my mana was being siphoned off rapidly to keep the domain up and empowered.
Without me actively fighting inside it the Domain was a racket to upkeep. Stepping into the domain I rushed off to the Raider and with a bash of my club the thing was sent flying before it was roped in, as I felt a spark of anger it smoldered in me as the less developed part of my brain didn't like thinking about all the strategy and just wanted to fight. Taking out my anger on the Undead Creature was probably not a good coping solution but oh well.

in the Draugur Warcamp...
...
"My Jarl I bring news from the front lines" a Draugur reported awaiting instruction. The Jarl watched the war board and the moving pieces, he had already seen the second wave being easily destroyed by the defenders. He looked over at the messenger, he pondered for a moment trying to recall his name, he was a barely a man when he was uplifted, he briefly remembers that he was the son of a village headsman.
"Speak" the Jarl ordered with regal authority. The Messenger began to report the minor occurrences first, mainly the reinforcements coming from the fringes of his domain. The Seer's ritual was far reaching due to the corrupted sunstones but it was not absolute. So the acolytes of the Seer went to the ancient battlefields that fell out of the range of the Ritual. Eventually the Messenger began to speak of more pressing information the exact details the Jarl was hearing for the first time.
"The Seer assisted Ragnar the fourteenth Raider but was repelled by the Enemy Commander afterwards Ragnar was slain in the aftermath, the Acolyte in charge of divining the soil afterwards discovered the taint of Paradox.
"The Fool, messing around with the Entities will kill him even if we fail" the Jarl stated as with a wave of his hand the headsman's son lost the spark of free agency and resumed to the base level of intelligence of his fellows which was a way to say none. After all free thought was dangerous for any but the leaders, or at least that's the lens the Jarl saw leadership and the right of rule.

Back to Kien...
...
After slaying the second Raider I didn't receive any level ups, but I guess when you figure in how easy fighting the Raider was not including the Seer it made sense. Though I had to find away to stop that teleporting nonsense. Using a basin which contained a undisturbed surface of water I saw the surface of helmet small scratches and a flaring of Ash from the eye slot made a menacing appearance if one didn't know the state to which the helmets wearers was. Taking the armor off I saw my face and sicking twist in the spot just below the center of my ribcage sent tendrils of vertigo throughout my body. Until I threw up as I took a delicate finger and traced the outline of the burn.
The visage I had seen was gruesome, my face was lifeless and dull it looked like someone had mismatched my face with that of an old man's. My hope came with a small message, it was a simple thing but it was immensely important to me.

Dorthinoxin: Hey, Kien don't worry the burns will heal but here me out don't go charging into bouts of Necrotic flame of really any flame for that matter.
...
It was small message but it was it was comforting to hear I wouldn't be stuck with it on. Although I was going to keep the Helmet on, for a while at least.
'Hey, Anastasia I took care of one of the Enemy Commanders, wake me if anything noteworthy happens I need a rest' I explained to Anastasia before passing out in full plate armor as my eyelids grew heavy.
...
I awoke some time later, but with no worried Spider shaking me awake which I appreciated. Standing up the small pains and aches from sleeping in my armor would have been horrendous pre-system. As I stood up I walked out of the little cave bungalow and into the wider cave system where Puppets stood in miss matched armor and gear. The sounds of work from further down was like a background music as I grabbed a bowl of stew and retreated to the bungalow taking off my helmet and began to eat. Parts my face struggled to move and as the area around my mouth was burnt or aged or whatever, it made it humbling experience as I sat their trying to force my face muscles to move. It felt like a sad sight but all I felt was frustrated at the act. After a solid thirty minutes of work I finished the poor quality stew.
Putting my helmet on I returned to the Smithing area and fixed up majority pieces of my armor, taking out the big dents so the armor could do the smaller stuff. After that I helped finish up sharpening the looted weapons many of which where worn, poor quality, or as sharp as a metal pole.
'Hey, Anastasia what happened while I was passed out?' I asked her and I felt her receive it before after a minute or two of waiting she responded.
'You hurt yourself again, this time it's bad, do you know if it will heal?' she asked her tone that she conveyed mentally was brimming with a no small amount of anger.
'I received a message from Dothrinoxtin explaining that it will heal' I responded and this time she responded immediately.
'okay thats good to hear, but just so you know I'm giving you a load of shit as soon as you are healed, okay?' she asked and my lips twitched into a smile.
'I figured, is everything alright did they send any more waves?' I reasked my question.
'nope they are fortifying their camp and the stragglers of their army are showing up, I think they are replanning, and also the Scouts haven't seen a hair of that cloth covered person the puppets saw you fight' Anastasia explained to my great relief, and I guess the small interlude into the fighting could change the course of the battle/ siege thing that was happening.
