I awoke in my bed with no recollection of going to sleep their the last thing I could remember in the thick morning haze was the image of a bronze circle with lines indented on its surface. Like the crack of a whip I stood up and stumbled from my bed to the forge and I saw it there gleaming on a pedestal.
A canvas of my vision of the world, I couldn't remember how I got the details so fine but I did. It depicted a great sky blanketing a city below, in the sky where three constellations. One of the Ursa Major, the other of Orion and the third being an Ox made from two distinct clusters of stars. The city down below was made of three layers. The first was a depiction of Earth's early days of mud, clay, and stick houses in small township and settlements with a river flowing through it. The Second layer was dominated by classics and medieval architecture grand churches, castles, and mausoleums, the third and final was of modern cities. Each was beautiful and if I didn't know I had built I wouldn't dare assume it. Pyrisous, it would be called I decided after the first name of Achilles I had came to this decision due to the closeness between the two shields.

Truly a beautiful shield both in make and in it abilities the flexibility and combined with the power buffs makes it a formidable piece of equipment. The flavor text of it was almost as interesting, the fact that Achilles was my ancestor was cool to know but the fact that he had powers pre-system opened a whole can of worms on what other people both present and historical might be. However I would have to shelf that part. Grabbing the handle on the inside of it I hefted the large shield which covered an almost impractical amount of my body but after the burning I received I knew better than to look a prize horse in the mouth.
Anastasia came into the Smith her eyes brimming with curiosity as she gazed on the landscape. I raised it in front of me, and then like stricked match she changed into her disappointing stance which on her Arcanid body was odd.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
'KIEN NOBLE! you spent three days straight forging, no eating, no sleeping, just crafting you goddam maniac!' Anastasia Protested and began to chastise me for a solid thirty minutes on how low ranked humans still needed sleep. Weathering the storm of her rage she calmed for a moment as she complimented the helmets and swords I had made as well the shield itself before starting against.
After that she filled me on everything like how she had the last undead locked up as well as going through the disappointing spoils of war. However before hand since we had the ability to choose when to go we set up a battle plan that would no doubt crumble as soon as it made contact with the enemy.
The large powerful titans would absolutely wreck our armies unless the puppet commander used [Knights Bulwark] to Protect against them. Anastasia had a plan on making massive puppets using the Giants as totem materials apparently they allowed for a non living object to grow for example one of Anastasia's puppets. So It wouldn't just be me doing all the fighting.
Next though I had removed a few chunks of the maroon Sunstones.

Rank One Treasure shard
This item is a cursed object that gives off large amounts of Necrotic Energy. Corrupted from an object meant to give off light and protect life now it corrupts it.

The item was a mild curiosity at best and not worth taking it with us. However how me and Anastasia had to begin packing, condensing and preparing, I spent a large amount of my time refining bronze ingots and repairing some of the better off pieces of armour. All in all prep took roughly another two days before we where ready. With a single cut of a sword the last undead was vanquished.

The same unusual and disturbing shift in the world around me happened again as I thrown between the world. This time however their was no strange room or long talk with Dorthinoxin rather I stood in a ruins of a great stone structure that loomed overhead. The impossibly large structure was clearly met for someone of a supernaturally inclined height. The masonry was worn but still exquisite. What was up with all these fallen empires aesthetic? Looking back I saw the rather impressive army of puppets surrounding the large containers of bronze and Totem components, nice they stayed with. Unfortunately I couldn't bring my forge with me but it would have to work.
'Alright Anastasia can you Fortify this place while I go scouting?' I asked her to which her spider head gave a nod. The Puppets burst into actions like roaches when they became uncovered swarming around the stone ruins.
Exiting the stone ruins I came to a cliff face that stood proud against the landscape with the ruins built a long the slant. This Cavern was a massive structure, this time though their where no Sunstones to create light. Rather pockets of bioluminescence created a chemical alternative. Pockets of vegetation crowed around the small pockets of light. In the distance I could see a bright red river of lava pouring like blood from the cave. Corpses of stunted trees grew just close enough to get the heat and light but not enough to catch a light.
Besides those places of life everything else was ice and stone. A slushy of ice flowed close to the ruins. From here I could make out three very distinct types of settlements from here. One was near the Lava River had a brutalist design with straight dark black walls and towers junting out from an islet in the river with two bridges connecting to each side.
The other was built hanging from the ceiling long metal structures with branching archways. The third was in stark contrast to the other two, a ring fort surrounded by a crude palisade with tent and crude lodgings. Great bonfires peaked up from them. It was a beautiful view but time to get a cracken. Mapping out a rough map of the controlled territory of each faction alongside much smaller farming settlements I created a basic map of the Caves from what I could gather. Unfortunately the far off silhouettes never left the roads of their respective Factions.
Me and Anastasia quickly met up and came up with a plan. I marked the most remote of the outlying settlements on the map.
'Alright here's my plan, we go and quickly wipe out a settlement of the Yeti's and the Ogres to get an idea of what we're poking?' I explained waiting to see if Anastasia could point out a better way.
'what about the Giants, their the ones on the Lava River right?' Anastasia asked me as she looked down at the map.
'they only seem to have one settlement so we might have to fly in blind' I stated.
'Okay, but let me try to build a few of those Giant Puppets' Anastasia said as me and her began to plan out the best route for attack and retreat.
