Hey everyone — quick heads up!

  I did a solid pass on the early/mid chapters with a focus on trimming fat, tightening lines, and fixing a bunch of continuity stuff (names/ages/timeline, a few lore details, and some tone consistency). The story’s the same at its core, but it reads cleaner and flows a lot better now.

  Because of that, I’m going to repost the chapters I’d previously posted (the updated versions), and I’m also tossing in a few extra new chapters as a little treat so it doesn’t feel like you’re just rereading for nothing.

  If you’ve already read the earlier uploads: you’re not crazy — you’ll spot differences, and that’s the point. If you’re new: perfect timing, you’re getting the best version from the jump.
