Dear Readers,
First and foremost, I want you to know that I appreciate each and every single one of you. The journey of writing over the last year on Royal Road has been amazing. In the last year my dream to write full time has become a reality, thanks in large part to each of you. Every encouraging comment and review stoked the flame and the passion to write. Genuinely thank you, from the heart, I mean it.
The journey is far from over, Hail Thy Gods Book One and Two are complete. Book Three will begin posting this week. Tentatively the schedule is 2-3 chapters weekly.
That number can grow if the Patreon interest in HTG goes up. That may sound selfish to some of you, in truth, when I wrote the first draft of Hail Thy Gods on Royal Road, I didn't even have a Patreon, nor did I want to get one. However, devoting yourself to writing full time means that you need to make money doing it. My rule for what story gets the primary focus is simple, whichever one has the most people asking for it on Patreon. This is because I only have one tier, all of my series are included in it for one price. The last vote showed a majority of people wanted my other series Respec on Death to have primary focus. I do the vote monthly, if HTG were to get primary focus, it would get a minimum of 5-7 chapters weekly.
Either way, I know some of you don't have the disposable income to support the story financially, I just wanted to be transparent with why I am writing HTG slower than I used to. If I had a hundred more hours in a week, I promise I would devote it all to the story, as I love writing it, however, like most of you I am sure can understand, living in 2025 is not cheap.
Moving on to the next order of business.
I wanted to open up the floor for any complaints or praises for book two, or even book one. Anything that you really liked, or anything you felt could be improved. I take feedback very seriously, and I really appreciate the time that goes into crafting it.
