00½ Art Gallery

My first scribble. I'm sitting at the corner table of the café, which has become my regular spot.

I'm writing in my diary, and Pearl is sitting behind the laptop, watching over the process.

Since Pearl is the driving force behind this diary,

I thought it was only fair that she should have her own portrait as the avatar.

It may not do Pearl justice (at least by her standards), but it did get her stamp of approval.

This picture depicts Babaru, a translation machine from the Friip nation.

The drawing manages to describe this strange species fairly well.

This picture was made for diary entry number 004.

This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.

I just realized that I'm terrible at drawing human -like figures.

I'm not sure about the quality of the other figures either,

but this drawing only gives a rough idea of what Cook looks like.

The chef's hat is perhaps the most recognizable element.

This appears in diary entry number 007.

I practiced cursive writing while pondering different languages

and the difficulty of deciphering the Twirppies.

This exercise piece was supposed to end up in the trash,

but Pearl picked it up and posted it as an illustration for entry number 017.

The following pictures I drew are a little strange. To say the least.

I can't really describe them in any sensible words.

I drew them when I had slipped into the space between realities.

After this experience, I gave each one a name.

I have written about this incident and the events leading up to it in diary entries 021–027.
