The Fool

Once in a while, when I wake up, I find myself surrounded by an unfamiliar scenery.

What greets me isn't my small room, but a vast lake...frozen still.

Trees stretch out as far as the eye can see covered in white, serene snow.

Far away from me, I see mountains so high they look like they're touching the sky.

A beautiful flower emerges from the snow, as it's purple petals point at me.

  But...

I cannot enjoy such a sight.

  Because...

The dream I'm sure I had, I cannot remember... and I'm left with a hollow sensation I cannot ignore.

The pristine snow only serves to boost my melancholy.
