The first thing Alex did after expanding his rooms was to put some food bushes in every room. He then plants moss inside his core room to keep to much erosion from happening. He plants Dark Moss and Red Spot Mushrooms in the first four rooms making them pop up in small nooks and crannies. He then plants Snakebite Root in his last three rooms along with Nightshade. He then created two female Arctic Foxes because the one that entered was male.
After planting his alchemical herbs he sent out his wolves and foxes to hunt and herd smaller mammals to his dungeon. His Demihumans were trying out their wings for the first time as they now had room to do so comfortably. They had climbed halfway up the walls using their wing spikes and claws. There they reached a 5' ledge that encircles that room and every other room in the dungeon so his creations have ambush points wherever they are in the dungeon.
As they settled on the ledge they gave each other the appropriate distance between themselves to be able to test out flight. Their goal was to gain a meter or 2 in altitude then fly over the 13 meters between the walls. Then when they gain proficiency flying they'll start to practice stealth, endurance flying and midair combat.
Over the course of the day the wolves and foxes brought/herded different plants and prey animals to the dungeon.
The large variety of food sources now allowed Alex to be able to support a much larger population then he was currently holding. He was preventing his creations from coupling till now so he decided to let his creations have free reign now that he had varied food sources.
So he spent the next week adding 6 more rooms to the first floor and moving his core room to the end of the dungeon. After the first week he spent 3 days populating all of his rooms with the new plants and animals. Grass now covered the entire floor of every room except the core room which was covered in a new type of moss. He accelerated the growth rate of the wheat, apple, and oak plants till the trees were mighty giants encircling the rooms while large fields of wheat dominated the center of the rooms. He then spawned all of the following into each of the first eleven rooms, 6 hares, 6 rats, 6 squirrels, and these in rooms 7-11, 12 deer, 12 raccoons, 12 boar. The hares, rats, and squirrels all had 4 females and 2 males, the deer, raccoons, boar all had 8 females and 4 males.

The rodent species in the dungeon exploded with growth making it so the predators of the dungeon were well fed. The larger prey animals Alex prevented from being hunted so they had a chance to grow making it so his predators had an instinct to hunt these animals seasonally rather than hunt them to extinction with the exception being old or ill animals so they fulfilled their purpose to keep the bloodlines healthy through natural selection.
He mutated the wheat to have similar effect as the rebirth of a Phoenix has so that when every edible part is eaten,harvested or destroyed the rest of the plant crumbles to dust and regrows within an hour.
