Pov: Kenzo
To reiterate once more:
Bio-wire is the lightning organ thinned into a small string and wrapped in my veins unique material to transport mana from pce to pce.
Bio-Rune frame is the oval casing that holds the Bio-wire and allows me to infuse whatever 'seal' I mark onto it.
I still need to reduce its size but its unlikely... so I may have to shape it oddly under the skin.
The final product should look like a tattoo- the oval should be under the skin and covered in skin itself to blend in, while the seal ys prominent and glows when in use.
The orange box around me shifts and changes into a small library- on the shelves I see hundreds of very, very simir books.
The books look to be both medical and seal based.
Unfortunately for me when I pick up a book and open the page it seems... very, very, very detailed.
Unlike most books which will expin something on the page and have a diagram next to it- the books here seem to measure the exact details by the mm, diagrams are completely to scale and cut into so many yers that it feels like nonsense and completely unnecessary.
...
One of these books is just a Bio-rune cut into a different yer thinner than paper on every page for the three hundred or more pages there is.
*Scratch* *Scrawl*
'Memorize these books. Time will be its own punishment'
My eyes trace the scrawling dispyed on the roof of the library before the scratches disappear once more... just memorize this?
There seems to be roughly... three hundred ish books in this small library, and one wooden desk in the middle.
Lots of paper and pens to suffice me for ages- and a nice chill area in the corner with a beanbag and a mp, the wall has a light switch that can turn from dark, dim and fully on.
Well then- better get started.
The first book I pull out is belled [Bio-Rune frame grafting] I read the introduction and it seems to be about actually grafting the rune onto the wrist.
?
I thought I would need medical ninjutsu for this? Lets read through it first before making assumptions.

A few hours pass by as I read the book in depth and right notes on the paper provided.
__
Frame Grafting notes:
Easy to apply with my shapeshifting and the book on page 12 - 34 expins in detail the steps taken to graft onto myself using shape-shifting.
The others on the other hand will be much harder to graft these frames on- should probably use method C (Pg 67 - 69) on Raiki as this method would be better for him.
(Method C: the use of basic surgery and yang energy to help him graft a frame onto his wrist- get Med-Nin's help for healing part)
Satsumi should use method A which is a bit tougher to complete but will cause less issues due to her rather rough use of mana- method C if she can catch up to Raiki in control and not blow us up.
(Method A: the use of a medical array in Konoha to directly mix both the flesh and frame into one being- chakra can be monitored by multiple ninja and reduces accidental explosions, expensive)
__
Okay, that's pretty much all I need from this book- I should summarize what I need and memorize them at a ter date to make the whole process easier.
If I know pieces from every book like the back of my hand understanding and keeping the books in memory will be much easier.
I get up from my desk and pce the book back before taking the next one that catches my interest.
[Not seals- and why?]
__
Not seals- and why? notes:
These aren't seals because seals have entirely different foundations to be built upon, the raw use of nature chakra is riddled with fws but my helper has helped me turn them around.
Nature chakra- purified into lightning mana functions much like actual lightning but on a more metaphysical way.
Like chakra it has its own set of rules- more specifically my nature chakra is so different from the norm it is in an entirely different weight css when making seals.
Foundation is not the same- but application and use is.
Pg 2 - 34 (Seal structures)
Pg 35 - 65 (Rune differences)
Pg 77 - 78 (Helpful diagram/Rune demo)
__
I shake my wrist as I pce the book back and look for the next one I need... lets go for something less interesting this time- better mix it up before I leave future me with one hundred straight boring books in a row.
[Mana 1: Symbol Code]
Looks boring enough.
__
Mana 1: Symbol Code notes:
Basically what works as a symbol and what doesn't, interesting at the end when the diagrams show how to make a symbol of your own.
E.g- two lines perpendicur don't work unless under specification four
Pg 156 (the cool rune)
Pg 12 - 15 (Foundation stuff)
Pg 23 - 60 (The symbol pictures)
__
Hmmm... I need to revisit this book once I have a greater grasp on what I am reading, hopefully some of the other books let me understand the prior texts ter on.
[Advanced Rune making]
*Flip*
Yeah- don't understand anything in the introduction, there is about seven words on the first page that I don't recognise and a few references to things I have yet to read.
I pce the book back and search for another one, my hand trails against each books spine until it stops at one.
[Human Anatomy: Rune pcement]
__
Human Anatomy: Rune pcement notes:
The wrist, Neck and torso are pces completely fine to mark with a rune as long as I pce it correctly- any other pces will need a bit of evaluation to proceed.
Pg 44 (Picture for specifics)
I should always measure the current patient and ensure that they do not differ from the guidelines or pictures in this book- I can always ask a medical professional for help in this regard.
Also need to make sure that the rune pcement does not interfere with veins- lightning mana to attract the mana in the blood and make an explosion if not correctly pced and made seperate from veins.
0.3 mm minimum distance at all times.
__
I flip through the pages of many books, without clocks or the sky present and no feeling of tiredness my effeciency skyrockets- I dont have an accurate estimate on how much time I spent in here but I am almost out of paper.
I y on the bean bag and rest it on top of one of the bookshelves, feet and hands dangling downwards as I mentally go over some notes.
Okay... Mana 4 has some insights into the nature of- well nature chakra that I can definitely use not only for Bio-runes but even other projects involving it.
I rub my forehead as I do some mental exercises and try to keep my test book within my brain.
...
*Sm!*
I drop to the floor and pick up the book from one of the two piles in the room, I flip through it and keep trying to memorize it.
I close the book after ten minutes and review the information in my head once more as I circle one of the shelves.
...
*Fizzle*
A small fizzling noise is heard and I look to the book, a star has appeared on the cover and I chuck the book over into the other pile where many stared books y.
Mana 4 is down... now onto the next book, I walk over the pile and pick up a book I only have read once before.
[Lightning and its nature]
Hmmm... the notes were around here somewhere.
__
Lightning and its nature notes:
It is foremost Nature chakra than it becomes and is treated as lightning affinity mana second- it can be maniputed and if I wanted to make it cold lightning I could, but it always performs better when flowing like lightning.
Piercing, burning, exploding, speeding, bright and loud are some examples.
Burst breathing follows this rule.
Wires do not and it suffers in performance compared to other lightning skills. Might mimic lightning in the future but now it does not.
Pg 44 - 67 (Description on lightning affinity)
Pg 12 (Diagram on affinities in nature)
Pg 68 - 71 (not to do list)
__
Time passes once more as I sift through the books that slowly number down to double digits and the pile next to it moved to make more room.
Time is its own punishment.
I feel endless in here but I do not feel as alive as I once was, like a robot fulfilling its task... my impatience was something that clouded my judgment many times before and soon that will no longer be a problem.
For who has to wait like I do?
In a library with no window or clocks?
Why do I feel like a part of me will never return after this?
...
I flip through my current book and discard it immediately after the star bels its cover, I crawl out of my bookshelf fort and through my table tunnel to reach for another book before returning to my den.
The lights are dim and the room is quiet.
Like always.

Pov: Kanata
*Sp!*
...
*Sp*
My hand sps away thrown kunai after kunai, I have been getting better and better at this deflection business- normal training mid-day, and after that I rotate ranged and melee deflections.
At first it felt silly and stupid to do, but now I can appreciate the intent behind Kenzo's training.
Its not just about deflection- these trainings improve my hand eye coordination and reflexes as well as improving the speed of my hands.
Basically improving my handseals while teaching me a defensive trick to deflecting attacks aimed at me, and the less I have to worry about the less my team have to protect me.
Well... it certainly isn't feeling like a team this month... or ever. We haven't done much but charity work over the time we have been a team and the one mission we went on was simple.
The recent one we went on was great experience hunting and tracking old washed up chunin who betrayed Konoha- Kurenai-sensei complimented us and said we did quite well... just wish Kenzo were with us.
Apparently he is off on a solo mission which is boring and long- not much else is known about his whereabouts with what I know and what he told us before leaving.
I kind of wish that we did more team stuff and all that, but it seems impossible with everyone having conflicting projects and even Kurenai getting a new team next year while we have to learn under *Shiver* Ryū.
Still don't know what to call him, he is very weird and unfortunately for us it seems outside experience is impossible with his knee injury.
Tch- at least I can train unbothered and keep a steady source of money, shame about the situation but it could of been much worse.
*Sp!*
Maybe I should increase the speed of these kunai...? That Lee dude I trained with was very fast, where did Kenzo say he ran in the mornings again?

Pov: Kenzo
I pce down the final book onto the pile in the corner, it is softly pced and I take a breath as it taps onto the other books.
*Click*
...
A moment passes and I turn my head to the noise, a door has appeared and unlocked itself it seems.
I walk towards it slowly and steer away from the mess of broken furniture on one side of the library, open the door and bright light shimmers into the completely dark room, my eyes not affected by the sudden change.
I walk out and close the door behind me- it vanishes as I return to the orange box.
'D-rank portion complete'
The words on the wall prewritten for me to see... I pay it no mind and stretch.
*Click*
A door appears behind me again and I enter into it, a b once more much like the snakes.
A person rests on the table completely covered in sheets, only visible part is their wrist.
*Scratch* *Scrawl*
Words scratch on the wall next to me and I take a breath before approaching the table and looking at the tools.
I need not look at the wall, the tools before me already expin what I need to do.
I pick up a scalpel and cut into the wrist, obviously I am not good at it because I only read about this thing.
A rough oval shape is cut and I mimic its shape by creating an oval in my palm... I slice it off and pce it in the cut out area.
I sew the wound shut and look to some of the other tools here, this is the rune part- it feels worthless to learn a set of seals that only work for me and cant be used in most situations.
I smirk.
What am I saying? Of course I chose the one sealing skill that did that.
I bend over the wrist and slowly but surely carve a pattern in the skin, needle like taps with the bde to create straight lines... using a needle for certain details and other sharp tools to create its final shape.
Much like ink press art this oval is carved out where I don't want to add the rune, a small bump over the skin and the exposed Bio-wire from where I had cut.
The cut is so thin that only skin is removed and no blood in sight- apart from the initial cutting that is.
I then prick the tip of my finger and start charging up the blood droplet with mana.
Before eventually tapping at the cut areas.
...
Meticulous work and half an hour ter I accurately level out the flesh- my bloods yang energy shifts the flesh and warps it all, connecting the rune to the frame and having the wire connect with the vein for easy transport while trying to keep everything intact and making sure the rune is properly working.
...
It glows and the door behind me opens into another room.
I wouldn't do this rune at all, the operation is far too messy and relies on a few skills I don't have while also expecting the target to allow me to mess with its yang energy.
Plus the final connections with my yang energy would only cause explosions to occur when one doesn't have my kind of control.
Nature mana is not to be trifled with so carelessly.
I take a breath and exit into the next room, a new set of tools on the bench, ignoring the words on the wall once more I approach and continue to use another of the hundreds of methods theorized before.
Oh.
These aren't feasible methods and the box is showing me why personally, I should use these experiences and knowledge to help prepare for the actual methods and make sure I don't make the same mistakes outside.
...
Hm.
Feels good to do something for once.
Time passes once more and many rooms vanish and appear as I complete each false and stupid surgery with ease.
I eventually reach a room with dozens of tools id out before me, intrigued I turn to the wall.
'Create a Rune'
I see.
Free to do as I wish- the skill I need to copy down would be the shaping one... should I just make a set of cws appear? No, my students shouldn't take after me in the themes department- lets make it a coating rune and affect the body.
That's what they are learning anyway- this one would need a size rge frame and the seal shapes should be set to nature set instead of Lightning one... although I could use the Mixed set of seals...? No, I should keep the schematics exactly to how my coating of the body works.
I should use the ink method for this as well, I approach the ink table and pull out a few simple devices to mix my blood and the sealing ink.
A more lethal dose of blood than expected, I should also shape the frame to fit the hand... do I want to graft it on and cut out the unnecessary stuff? No, I should stick it on and spend a few hours meticulously trying to combine the rune to the flesh itself.
Makes it much more easier that way.
I collect my bottle of ink and attach it to the tattoo device which seems awfully primitive... in fact I believe these tools are made in such a way that I can shift into them with my hand or finger.
I prepare the frame and pce it next to the wrist- making sure the skin colour matches perfectly so only the rune will show and not the frame... I have the Bio-wire inside it match the rune soon to be pced on top, it doesn't need to match as the power is getting into the seal no matter what but that's fine because this improves the efficiency even if only by a little.
I start to tap the frame and add my ink onto it, slowly but surely the rune is carved.
The next part will be tedious but necessary, too fast and the natural energy will get excited and explode.
I pce the frame perfectly to the woman's wrist and tap it slowly into the flesh- for me with my shapeshifting it will take hours upon hours... for a medical ninja this process could be shortened to under an hour.
I do need someone high quality to not mess with the nature chakra however.
...
..
.
*Shiver*
The body under the bnket shivers as the operation is complete and I start to stretch my still muscles and crack my bones.
Haaa- I yawn.
Huh... haven't yawned in quite the while, but that was some awfully long and boring work.
I check over the wrist and see if any mistakes where made... none.
The frame doesn't look like its there at all and only the ink tattoo is shown, the seal is shaped like an arrow head with multiple lines shooting through it- I pce mana into it and it shines orange.
...
It should shine blue for my students as they don't have the same mana as me- or rather they aren't an amalgamation of nonsense like me.
Pure lightning favoured nature chakra.
I smile warmly as the room fades and I return to the orange box.
*Scratch* *Scrawl*
'C-rank portion complete'
Thanks for reading :)
