Pov: Kurenai
"So... I am getting a new team?" I ask confused.
My three genin have barely gotten any training in... I would love this opportunity but I cannot just leave them to fend for themselves.
"Yes that is correct, due to the nature of one of your members it was deemed inappropriate to let him take on missions outside of Konoha" The Hokage tells me.
"But what about their training? All of them are just genin, they had the chance to learn from a jonin" I ask with concern.
"It is rare to find genin in such a department... there will be a few special jonin and chunin catching them up on the basics for the few months that they are there- and on top of that I will ensure the sub department head makes some time to report their progress and offer advice in written form- you will always be their sensei and so you are free to teach them whenever you are free... which will be until you have to train your next team" The Hokage tells me and eases my worries.
So I can still ensure they are trained properly... that's good- they get basic chunin level by the end of the year and I can fulfil my promise to Hinata... that's great honestly.
"May I ask why this happened?" I look towards the Hokage interest.
"Kenzo... has had some unstable episodes and we thought to put him under the watch of someone who could restrain him properly, his resistance to genjutsu is unfortunate for you at this time" The Hokage says.
"Kenzo- he may have injured those workers but I know him not to be malicious-" I start but get interrupted.
"I know him well Kurenai, this is something he suggested as well... and unfortunately that means his teammates will ck experience in mission areas outside of Konoha" The Hokage sighs.

Katsuko and Kanata.
Both of them needed experience in combat to get anywhere good... Kanata would be fine but Katsuko is someone I believe needed that kind of push to go far...
How can I simute those environments in Konoha?
"Thank you very much Hokage-sama, is there anyway I could meet my... repcement?" I ask my final question.
"Ryū is a very busy and... silent individual, but I am sure you will meet him soon" The Hokage says and I nod my head before leaving.

Pov: Kenzo (Ryū)
...
This is a lot of paperwork for a blind guy to do... seriously, how am I meant to complete all this with a blindfold... I suppose I can stare through the blindfold and since the seal resists it my stare wont be felt through walls and floors... but that means I have to do this in an isoted room where no one will break in- sorry, 'ninja knock'.
My new job is an office meant for four, team six and me, well three in this case but the room barely fits two comfortably.
Around the size of a small bedroom with a singur long desk that has barriers splitting it into five desks... my one being the biggest, or Ryū's desk at least.
There is paperwork everywhere in the room as this pce seems to be the storage for everything our department handles... which was side-lined for the more important and active investigations in Konoha.
So a small office filled with paper.
Better than nothing I suppose... now I need to introduce Ryū to team six... maybe one at a time so I don't need to try and be two people at once without a cloning jutsu.
Home visits then? Makes much more sense... I will have visited myself when Naruto isn't home... works out perfect- except for sensei, tricking a genjutsu master is less than ideal circumstances.
Any fault in my act and she will catch it almost immediately- I would need to have a A rank minimum skill in acting or lying to get away with it.

I stare through my blindfold and mask to scan the documents that the Hokage handed me.
These are for my eyes only so hopefully in here is some advice for what I can do in this scenario.

Good thing the system is sponsoring my lies, I wouldn't mind another statistic scroll- ever since my shape change I take the pain much more easily, I took five at a time the other night and it honestly wasn't as bad as some singur ones from the past.
Blood more active with natural chakra... chakra system so thin I am almost sure that if it was a spec smaller it wouldn't be there... and chakra points not existing, like at all.
I have so little chakra that I don't need points to manage the flow... that's sad for me.
Haaa-
Now how does one make Ryū into another person? The Hokage wished me luck really... suggested that I pull through myself or dont at all.
Which is fair considering the amount of work he is already doing for me.
Kakashi the copy ninja didn't notice so maybe I have a good chance? Probably not considering two minutes of basic spar and full on conversation is much different.
Lets just start practicing difference between me and Kenzo... lets add a knee injury that makes me stumble around, shapeshifting would make that easy and would effect my entire stance and walk.
Its not like she is actively looking for Kenzo being me so that will be enough, the next step is my speech patterns and such.
How should I speak differently? Should I speak at all? It would be better if I learned the Anbu signs... the Hokage gave me them to learn to cover myself... but that isn't normal signs at all.
And I spoke to Kakashi... so no going silent, I slide back into my chair and look at the ceiling.
*Knock Knock*
"Enter" I say, probably another pile of papers on my new desk.
...
"Hello? I am Kurenai, are you Ryū the special Jonin taking over my team?" Kurenai-sensei says and I get up and stand straight immediately.
I hear the other two standing behind her- damnit Ryū! Pay attention!
I start walking over and- *Slip!* *Sm* facepnt into the floor... I forgot about the knee injury, lets just roll with awkward and clumsy since that's what I am now.

Pov: Katsuko
I walk in after my sensei and see the zily lounging man that was described to be our new sensei? Teacher? What do I call him?
...
"Hello? I am Kurenai, are you Ryū the special Jonin taking over my team?" Kurenai-sensei says and I peak over to see the man jolt up and outstretch a hand... before smming into the floor.
I look at Kanata in worry.
"(Whisper) Was he asleep? How clumsy is our new... caretaker" Kanata whispers at me.
"We will be fine right?" I ask sensei.
She weakly smiles and turns to the guy getting up off the floor.
"Hahaha- sorry about that guys... girls- I uh, well this isn't how I wanted to meet you all... where is the other... girl?" He asks with intense awkwardness as he raises a hand to fist bump and then handshake Kurenai before coughing and putting his hands into his pockets.
"Kenzo... is a boy, we couldn't find him so he must be training- I advise you meet him sooner rather than ter" Kurenai says.
"Yes- of course, I can do that... so am I taking these two under my wing? Or... at least giving them work while you train them?" He asks.
"Yes, this here is Kanata, and that is Katsuko" Sensei points us out.
"Nice to meet you... are you always this weird or...?" Kanata asks.
"Hello" I greet.
"Yes" The man nods his head as he looks around trying to muster up a sentence.
"Oh- nice to meet you two" after a brief silence he replies to our greeting and offers to sit at the desk which is covered in paper.
"Don't read that- or that- not that- keep away from this- I recommend not reading this for another... four years..." He starts to ramble and organize a few things before emptying two desks for us.
"Want... some biscuits?" He looks around and takes some biscuits from under a pile of papers to hand over to sensei.
"I will collect them at the end of the day... keep them alive until then... no thank you, I just ate" Kurenai awkwardly shuffles out of the room and abandons us to this man.
...
"So.. what do we do now?" Kanata asks.
"That's- well... before you start paperwork I really have to sort these things... so next week we will start this stuff, for now lets do something else..." He shuffles and limps back to his seat.
He has a knee injury? That might expin his falling over as it seems he isn't used to it yet.
...
We wait four minutes as he sits and taps his fingers on the desk.
"What's this something else... dude" Kanata asks with a twitching brow.
"Would you look at that! I have to go, usually I am very busy so most weeks and or months if I am lucky- unlucky, you wont see me... have fun, don't touch anything!" He gets up and limps out of the room.
"Want to do some chakra control exercises while we wait for Kurenai-sensei to pick us up?" Kanata asks and I nod.
We are doomed.

Pov: Kenzo
...
I suppose improvising my new personality worked out better than thinking and pnning on it, the more awkward I am the less they will want to hang around me.
Now I just have to take these documents somewhere private and read them without gring someone down.
They should be fine for a few days while I get used to the new job... second job... do I have to do Kenzo and Ryū's work? Oh man... that sucks, this is the Hokage's punishment for trying to go on an A rank mission isn't it?

So my team is convinced I exist as two separate people now... I should use that statistic scroll on genjutsu affinity and see what happens... of course I must see the Hokage first.
No sense in leaving it right behind the mystery upgrade, will it make me one hundred percent better at genjutsu and all my genjutsu is free of use? Or will something else happen?
I enter into the forest and come out as Kenzo, this particur area is often unused and is right near the Inuzuka cn so wolf barks cover up a lot of noise and the scent is strong... plus they aren't tracking me so I don't need to worry about them.
I pack my Ryū clothes scroll into my pocket and accept the statistic scroll, I walk up the streets and into the Hokage building.
*Knock* *Knock*
"Enter"
I enter in and see the Hokage smoking his pipe as he writes some documents.
"Kenzo, what can I do for you?" He asks with a smile.
"Lord Hokage... I need to meditate again, I am messing with my genjutsu and I fear it might be a bit more than normal" I tell him and sit on the couch.
"Go ahead" He nods his head and I meditate on the couch before focusing on the stat scroll.

Lesser blessing? Is it a weaker version of a blessing scroll? I suppose I will find out ter...
I open my eyes and find myself in that lovely orange box, I get up and stop staring through my blindfold so I can take it off.
In front of me is six pilrs- on each pilr is a carved image and scratched words.
I approach the first pilr which has a hand carved into it, I read the words.
'Genjutsu touch- a simple touch can allow you access over your opponents chakra and senses -E - C'
The next pilr has another hand, this one is carved into a snapping shape.
'Genjutsu resonance- noises made from your body can allow you access over your opponents chakra and senses -E - C'
The pilr after that has a chakra system carved into it, my current chakra system.
'Genjutsu Reflection- unable to cast genjutsu, when hit with a genjutsu able to flip it on caster perfectly every time with ultimate control over the opponents jutsu -A'

Touch would be amazing for both my builds, especially since I am a shape shifter in one and a speedy guy in the other... but it loses me my ranged options and that isn't what I want.
Resonance sounds like what I want most, ranged noise based genjutsu that could probably be more than a snap... I will stick to snapping so no old ugly man writes it down in my folders... good choice overall.
Reflection is great as well... practically immunity to all genjutsu no matter what and reflection on top of that... but again leaving me with no ranged ability to help me fight as Kenzo, I don't need another defensive ability right now.

I look over to the next pilrs the fourth pilr has a hand carved into it, this one has fog seeping from its palm.
'Illusionary hands- throw out realistic illusions from your hands that look, sound and feel realistic to your opponents -E - C'
The fifth pilr holds the image of a pointing hand.
'Genjutsu Point- a simple point can induce control over opponents senses and chakra -D - C'
The st pilr holds another chakra system.
'Genjutsu Storage- unable to cast genjutsu, able to store up Genjutsu that opponents cast onto you and release them at opponents at a ter date without restriction'

Storage and reflection have the same benefit and unfortunate bad side... I would love to have these but then I wouldn't be half as useful in my Kenzo kit.
And most my enemies know about my resistance to Genjutsu and wouldn't weave any against me in the first pce...
Point sounds like a silent variation of resonance but I love resonance more, just being able to hide this upgrade and subtly use it by whistling in combat or even grunting as I exert force is amazing.
Illusory hands sounds like I am making everyone see what I want, so no dispelling genjutsu but also harder to trick enemies and help allies with...
Resonance really resonates with me so I will choose that one, it just fits in my support front liner role as Kenzo and undermines Danzo for extra points.
So my combat style would be the same as normal... except in a pinch I can make any loud noise I make into a genjutsu trap for my opponents which allows me much more control over the battlefield.
I touch the pilr and focus on resonance... and shortly after I wake up to the couch and nod my head to the Hokage.
"Anything interesting?" He asks.
I cant feel my chakra at all... I feel the after effects of pain but not the current and ongoing effects of it... I think my body transformed while I was gone.
"I feel... like I resonate with my chakra... with genjutsu" I respond.
"Interesting... lets test a few things shall we? Use your genjutsu on me" He asks.
I raise my hand and snap my fingers... trying to cast a genjutsu on him, he is affected- but like any voluntary genjutsu subjects they know they are under a genjutsu and can dispel it easily.
"All I need to see, you are dismissed Kenzo" The Hokage goes back to his writing.

Is it weird I wanted some big thing to happen here? I think I am far too used to being in pain and an inconvenience to the Hokage.

Pov: Hiruzen Sarutobi.
I watch as Kenzo leaves and as soon as he is out of earshot I snap my fingers and have one Anbu summoned, this Anbu has a byakugan.
"What did you see? Describe it all in detail" I command and the Anbu gets off his knees to fulfil his verbal report.
"After a few seconds his chakra system... disappeared entirely and he technically died for three seconds" The Anbu reports.
"Disappeared? Expin" I order.
"It... looked like the chakra dispersed from his system... and then it looked like his system slowly dissolved" He replies.
"What about the vital systems? The eight gates? How is he functioning without them?" I ask hurriedly, if he needs medical attention I need to go get him now.
"They are gone too, the best way I can describe it is that he himself became a chakra point... like his flesh now serves as a singur point rather than a system- when he cast genjutsu he didn't use chakra... how do I expin this...?" He starts to mumble as if he wasn't sure of himself.
I give him a few moments as it seems what happened isn't urgent, his body nguage seems more confused rather than panicked.
"His body is changed to hold Yang and Yin, but never to mix them- he can shift with yang... his yin was carried over the sound waves, spread so thin if I wasn't paying attention he would have gone unnoticed..." He rambles.
"He doesn't spend chakra for genjutsu, he spent yours" He says firmly, as if he just processed what happened.
"Details, no more vague recounts" I order.
"Yin flows through sound waves that come from his body and they enter in through your ears... that yin energy follows your yin energy and mixes with your yang energy to spark some chakra- he then messes with your senses and chakra from that spark" The Anbu reports.
That is... impressively overpowered.
Chakra-less genjutsu so hard to see that a byakugan is needed- he could get past any dojutsu's natural defences by entering from within the user and depending on how good the genjutsu is... he could of rivalled Shisui through sheer stealth and execution.
If he had raw genjutsu power on top of that.... something like Shisui or Fuguko's genjutsu power... he would be worthy of that special jonin title on that alone- he could be a high level chunin with that alone.
And add his other abilities I fear he may be better than some Anbu I have under me.
Remove Ryū's skills he has learnt and he could be at a low Jonin's level.
He needs a lot of training from Kurenai to get this going perfect, he may have the knowledge of genjutsu but he needs the experience and skills that she can grant him.
Half a year tutege more under her will be more than enough, he can learn from there.
Now I just need to keep him in Konoha...
