When I woke up again in my crib, my MP and SP recovered.

  Granted, I didn't use them to exhaustion before napping, but they were still at full.

  I worked out my arms, legs, and neck until my SP depleted, but I did not have any gains in my skill.

  Granted, one push-up doesn't mean immediate strength either.

  It's a marathon, not a sprint… or I would say if I wasn’t someone’s hunting target.

  I may be approaching a point of diminishing immediate returns for the skill, at least until I am put in a position to crawl.

  Without the ability to move, I pondered about what’s next.

  There’s no more I can analyze from where I’m laying.

  I also don't have any magic skills I can work on.

  So depleting my MP would only be for grinding max MP and passing out…

  I used some of my MP so it was in a recovering state and began meditating.

  Meditation goes for what seems like much longer now between interruptions from the system.

  I continue to become one with all things.

  And balance my mind and body.

  I kept meditating until I heard my mother approach, and we went to get me changed and fed.

  There’s gotta be more that this book doesn’t cover.

  Also, I didn't get other skills from reading… listening, so I probably have to practice the concepts first.

  Mother set me down in the carrier facing her.

  Mother(smiling but concentrating): [Ok little Ray, watch this.]

  As I was watching "this", I tried bringing in magic from around me to circulate within, as described by mother, from the book.

  It felt similar to magic from my old world, but ?didn’t taste the same?

  Well, if I couldn’t use magic here, I would still have a sense of it.

  Surprisingly, mother slowly began glowing with a reddish tint.

  Mother(smiling widely but concentrating): [See, neat, right?]

  That is really cool.

  I give her a wide smile as I give her some full-arm baby claps.

  Shortly after mother began glowing, I started glowing with the lighter reddish tint.

  Losing concentration, her glow dimmed, and eyes widened.

  Mother(surprised): [Wha wa wa what?]

  Mother(surprised but happy): [Wow good job Ray!]

  Mother(slight panic): [Oh gosh! I got to tell John!]

  As mother freaked out, I figure that I may have goofed.

  It didn't stop me from practicing right away, but a goof nonetheless.

  I stopped circulating magic, needing to [Analyze] the skills before continuing, in case they had some sort of grand drawback.

  Father(slightly tired but happy): [I'm home.]

  Hearing the door closing behind him.

  Mother(excitedly panicking): [Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. You won't believe what just happened.]

  The situation may have elevated from goof to problem.

  Father(concerned confusion): [Wha-]

  Mother(excitedly panicking): [Ray was using magic!]

  Why does it seem like she is panicking?

  Father(happy but also concerned): [Are you sure?]

  Mother was bouncing while spinning in circles now.

  Mother(excitedly panicking): [YES!]

  She stopped, facing father, got up in his face, and started shaking her hands below her.

  Mother(quietly excited): [I was practicing my magic circulation after re-reading the section on it. Ray was smiling and clapping at me, then he started glowing!]

  Hugging Mother briefly, Father walked over to me, placing his hand on my head.

  Father(happily with concerned undertones): [Good job kiddo!]

  Yup, this had risen to problem levels.

  Mother(happy but concerned): [It's amazing, but-]

  Father discreetly shook his head, and mother stopped talking.

  Father motioned to Mother to move towards the kitchen, before he followed behind her.

  Ok, them leaving was more stressful than if they had outright talked about the problem here in front of me.

  I tried listening to what they were saying,

  I hate tension, and sitting here stressing sucks.

  Mother picked me up, holding me tightly to herself.

  Mother(concerned, but trying to put on a brave face): [Hey little Ray, tomorrow we get to go get your potential checked.]

  Father put his hand on top of my head, hugging mother and I.

  Father(brave face): [Ya, we're going to see if you have potential in magic like your mother, or if you can also manipulate some ki like your father. But before that, you get to sit down with your dad and see if you can do the same thing that you did earlier with your mom, but with ki instead.]

  We kind of stayed like that for a short time.
