I saw God, his figure an avatar of burning light as bright as the sun and as hot as an inferno of rage, his eyes hollow and black like coals from an old fire. His mouth moved not when he spoke his words to me, his voice piercing my ears drums and rattled the inside of my head until I thought myself insane. He opened my eyes, his light burned at them, making me want to scream as they were painfully scorched. But because of that light he shined on me I can now see now. I can see just how rotten this whole damn world is. From the core up it’s nothing but filth desecrating this holy land.
But why can only see it? Why me why only me? Why am I the only one burdened with this curse? Is it to punish me, is God showing me how pointless my life is? How incredibly awful it will be and that I have no escape? What else could it mean? It has to be that yes, God blessed me, showing me how filthy this world is. That someone needs to change it, that someone needs to fix it. That the rotting piece needs to be carved out like mold on a loaf of bread.
My knife, I can feel it in my hands, its edge running along my fingers and palm as I’m fingering it under my coat. Yes, this is my tool, this is what God has given me to fix this world. This knife, this item, this weapon, this is my holy blade and I’ll use it to carve out the bad seeds and make sure the good ones are all that's left in this rotting garden.
But the crowd it’s too… too normal, they’re all the same, all rotten but not worth my time, I need to start big, I need to make it known that God has given me his blessing. I need to show the world that I’m ready for war. I need to show the world that I’m committed. I need to strike down a symbol of this evil world. I can’t just pluck the sprouts from the ground forever, I need to chop down a tree first.
But there’s no one worth it, no one worth tasting the power I’ve been given by God. I need to make them fear it first, I need to have the rays of light burn their flesh and have them retreat into darkness so I can see them inside of it.
I need to keep moving, I need to find them, I need to find them now! I need to…
I feel my lips curve upwards as the prickly feeling of unshaved hairs stabs my nose. I see it, I see the tree I need to cut down. And it’s a big one, he’s shining bright red like the devil himself. He’s beautiful, so breathtakingly tall, blonde hair like an angel's, but his eyes, his eyes are red like blood. Their evil, they’re the mirror to his soul, no one except me can see it, the darkness, the evil, the red around him. The evil which rots and warps the very place he exists in. I need to do it, I need to, I’m pushing through the crowd and people scream as I rip my knife out. I need to do it. I need to cut him down I need to-

“How filthy Jin sighed as he stared at the puddle in the freshly created dent in the street where a man had once been. A mad man, one with an aura darkened by the touch of evil. All that remained of him was a puddle of blood in the freshly created dent in the street.
“!”
In what was a split second he expanded his flaming aura the same color as fresh red bright blood. The aura quickly spread throughout not only the street he stood on but also the one next to him and the one next to the next. Everyone who was inside that radius felt his aura overwhelm them, for just a moment as if flinching they all paused, unable to register what had happened.
In that brief moment Jin conjured a ball of flames no larger than a penny and flicked it down towards the puddle of gore. The man's remains were consumed in the flame which evaporated as quickly as it spread, leaving no trace of the man whatsoever, not even a hint of what had happened other than the crater in the floor.
People resumed their actions, nearly 2 seconds having passed since the man had attacked the tall blonde hair foreigner and they all were confused as to where he possibly could have gone. Jin, without a care in the world, simply put his hands in his pocket and hopped over the dented street with a light hop. He continued his journey down the street as if nothing had happened. People quickly cleared a path for him.
Maybe I should have held back… He frowned, when someone comes at you with their aura tainted by evil and a knife in their hand your first reaction would be to fight back right? At least for Jin it was, his actions however were not something he did without thought, he analyzed the situation as it happened, his blessings of the [Pure Eyes] and [Knowledge Archive] in tandem made the man's movements as slow as the drying of paint to Jin. The correct course of action to minimize public danger was to kill the man, destroy him and then erase any evidence. Using his [King of Kings] aura such a thing was possible. A talent less than one hundred people on the planet had, a technique one earns only though possessing the ability to call themself King above Kings. By expanding his Aura Jin has the ability to make people freeze, to hesitate, faint or even die if he goes so far. It’s a useful technique but one which requires much practice, of course Jin being himself was able to master it within his first few tries. However the true scaling of such a technique's power was one's Sense of Self, and for Jinen Lutece he was 2nd to no other than himself in that regard, however perhaps there was another in the world who could hold a candle to his inferno. That being Randolph Sisyphus Freyr the Vulracious Emperor.
“That guy, what a pain.” Jin sighed, shaking his head slightly as if mildly inconvenienced, he’s already sent El-Saber into a bad mood and if that old man finds out about this he’s gonna be even more pissed. Then I’ll get it not only from him but also from Hayai and Julius. There’s no winning even when you're the strongest.
Looking around he read the signs which appeared all around him, he’d like to say it’d been a moment since he’d read or spoken in Edogo so he’d needed to have a quick refresher but that’d be a complete lie. Once he learned something he never forgot it, not even the smallest detail was forgotten. That didn’t only apply to educational knowledge either, if you asked him what he was doing December 3rd 2474 he’d be able to answer you down to the very fine details. He was a sponge for information and learning due to his [Knowledge Archive] blessing. In his youth to fill his boredom he’d often go into his family's library and flick through the many books his family had, owing not only the largest magic related library but one of the largest in the world in general. Of course one of the first things he learned was languages, it must have been at the age of four or five that he mastered all spoken languages, then at the age of seven he got tired of mathematics after learning Advanced Calculus and decided to tip his toes into dead and ancient languages all of which he’d also learned before going back to math. In short Jinen Lutece knew everything that was within the grasp of common mortal knowledge. All history available, all languages, scientific theories and math formulas he knew like the back of his hand and he had nothing left to learn. He knew it all by the age of 12 and that only fueled his boredom more. As such his excitement over being in Edoland, the liberation finally being so close to beginning wasn’t something he felt the need to hide. He perhaps had a smile slightly more cocky than usual and walked with a posture more slouched than it normally was. Standing 6 '3 he was already over a head taller than most Edojin and he caught the glances of all the women who looked at him with eyes of lust. But he paid them no mind, he had more fun things to take care of. He needed to check all the way points and make sure they were correctly placed. He of course believed in Kanashi and Nordon to do the job but things often happen, human error. Something he of course couldn’t relate to but had learned was simply a part of human life, something they all can’t help but avoid even the smartest and strongest of them all.
Stolen story; please report.
“A mistake huh.” He muttered letting the feeling roll off his tongue as if he tasted something bitter for a moment. “Maybe I’ll make one of those one day.” He joked only to himself.

“That makes #120” Jin muttered as he traced his finger along the teleportation circle. “Maybe it’s time for a lunch break…” He asked aloud, standing up and dusting his hand off his coat. Turning around he walked out the alley way with his hands in his pocket like they always were and entered the street upon doing so he heard the scream of a woman. Running in his direction was a man with a knife in one hand and a purse in the other, his head covered by a ski mask.
Jin without comment grabbed the man by the front of his head and with a casual push threw him to the ground, the man's skull bouncing off the concrete with a sickening sound as he grunted. His limbs sprawled out before him with a tremble as his nose began to bleed through his mask.
Flicking his finger up and using [Telekinesis] he lifted the purse from the man's hands and into his own. The woman who had frozen in her tracks and stared at him with wide eyes as if seeing her knight in shining armor smiled behind her hand with a blush.
“...” Jin with a frown threw her purse to her which she barely caught by the string before it left her grip again. Looking up to say thanks she saw that Jin was already gone, teleporting somewhere across the country completely.
Appearing in the alley beside a bar in the southern island of “Shitajima” and with his hands in his pocket he quickly walked into the street and entered the restaurant which his destination had been. A small restaurant which he’d always found to his favourite “Ichiban Ramento” a small local shack which he’d discovered years ago during a mission to fight an apostle candidate who’d been causing trouble. As he entered the sliding rice paper door of the restaurant he was immediately greeted by a familiar face that of a woman with deep wrinkles as is from years of work and eyes tinted black from a lack of sleep.
“Ehhh.” Upon seeing Jin the women seemed to grimace as if from some unpleasant past memory. Without a care, Jin walked up to the counter with his wallet already in hand.
“8 bowls please.” He said pulling from his wallet a small collection of bills which he passed to the women. Then without waiting for her to speak or give a receipt he turned around and took a seat at one of the empty tables leaning back to the point that only his head was peeking above the table top and with his hands in his pocket once more.
After only a few moments of waiting a man of older age with a messily uneven shaved beard let out a growl as he saw Jin, placing the 8 bowls down from the plate in his hand roughly. Letting out a curse under his breath before turning around as if trying to quickly scurry off but he was pulled back by the sound of a snap.
“Gar?on, a large Radrick Cola please.” Jin said, handing a $5 bill to the waiter who looked at the bill as if it was nothing more than a scrap of trash.
“Of course.” The man struggled to grunt out with a strained smile, taking the bill gently from Jinen who’d already finished his first bowl of ramen and began to work on the 2nd.

Jin finished his final cup of Radrick which he placed down with a clack next to the nearly sixty bowls of ramen which sat stacked around his table. A young girl fluttered her eyes at him trying to grab as many of the empty bowls as she could without breaking one.
Opening up his wallet once more Jin pulled out three $100 bills, one for each of the restaurant's workers and placed it under his empty mug before standing up and dusting himself off.
“Merci, I’ll see you soon hopefully.” He said with a warm smile turning to the woman behind the register who looked as if she wanted to stab him with a knife. Shrugging his expression away he walked towards the door and pulled it open, stepping out he closed the door behind him and as soon as it closed he vanished teleporting back across the country to his next waypoint to check.
“#121.” He said aloud as he appeared at the next waypoint. With a frown he pushed his bangs from his eyes and frowned thinking of the ramen restaurant. It was truly his favorite place to eat in the world. He was a master at all forms of cooking putting even the Celestials who embody cooking into a shiver at the prospect of having a cooking duel with him. Yet he never could replicate the taste of that ramen he had there, he’d tried so many times yet never managed to. Upon asking one time if he could see the kitchen there was a bit of a hassle before they agreed and when he did the issue he was facing made sense. They had an infinite broth, a broth which had been cooked non stop for one hundred fifty years, its flavor crafted from the years of time which it had lived through. Once he realized that he gave up trying to make their ramen and accepted that he could only eat it there. Even he could not create such a soulful thing as that broth. However to his confusion it seemed as though the restaurant owners disliked him severely, they’d never said anything so he had no reason to assume they truly hated him but still he tried to tip as much as he could within reason to make them appreciate his visits more. However it only seemed to worsen every time he appeared next.
“#122.” He said, appearing at the next waypoint with a sigh. “This is gonna take a moment.”

Jin stood up, the sun bright above him as the next day's sun reached its midpoint, it had been almost a full day since he’d arrived in Edoland and he’d checked all the waypoints making sure they worked to which they did. He was impressed how well placed they were. It was perfect, no doubt the work of Nordon. He almost didn't feel like giving that praise, however he could imagine what Nordon would say and how he would turn it into a lecture against him about doing your job right and to the best of your ability.
“How about I start it for real then?” He asked with a smile.
Vanishing into thin air like he had so many times before he now appeared in an unexpected place, one which he didn’t know the location of since it was always moving imprinted onto the flesh of a human.
“Yo, Kanashi.” He said with a smile and wave.
