*BOOM————!!!*
No foreplay, no cushioning whatsoever.
Carrying the immense kinetic energy of a hundred-meter freefall, the Slayer smashed into the clearing next to the smoothly operating "Aether Centrifuge" in the center of the mine like a meteor ignited by rage.
The shockwave radiated frantically outward from the impact point. The heavy alloy floor rippled and curled like water. Several Demon Overseers standing nearby were instantly blasted away, smashing violently into rotating gears and scalding steam pipes, turning into unrecognizable piles of mush.
Alarms blared instantly.
Piercing red rotating lights dyed the entire underground space blood-red.
"Alert! Alert! Intruder! High-energy reaction in Sector 7!"
The Slayer slowly straightened up amidst the dust.
His war boot crushed a fragment of a control panel that was still sparking.
In his headset, Singularity's voice sounded like he was about to suffocate:
"My ancestor! That was an INFILTRATION! INFILTRATION!!"
"That jump of yours broke three Level-1 pressure valves and cracked two high-purity Mana Crystals! That's all money! That's the Netherworld's future fixed assets! Easy! Take it easy!"
The Slayer completely ignored the noise in his headset.
He raised his head, crimson runes flickering on his visor amidst the dust.
Before him, a squad of fully armed Mechanical Demon Guards was rushing out from the end of the corridor, their thermal rifles spewing deadly beams.
The Slayer didn't seek cover.
He raised his left arm, the shoulder cannon locking on automatically.
*Thump! Thump!*
Two high-explosive grenades flew precisely toward the enemy group.
"Don't blow it up! There's a reactor over there!" Singularity screamed over the comms channel. "If that blows, we lose everything! Use the sword! Use the sword to cut!"
The Slayer's movements didn't pause for a second.
*BOOM!*
The grenades exploded among the demons. But this time, the Slayer seemed to have listened to half a sentence (or perhaps it was pure combat instinct); he didn't blow up the nearby energy storage tank. The shockwave of the explosion precisely overturned the demons' formation.
Engaging his thrusters, the Slayer turned into a dark green blur, instantly charging into the chaotic enemy ranks.
He didn't draw his gun.
He reached out with both hands, grabbing the neck and leg of the exoskeleton demon leading the charge.
Lifted it over his head.
The demon struggled frantically, its exoskeleton armor creaking.
The Slayer spotted the massive brass gear assembly rotating at high speed nearby.
Using the demon as a stick, he jammed it violently into the gears' bite point.
*CRUNCH—CREAKKKKK!!!*
The hard exoskeleton armor jammed the gears. Amidst a tooth-aching sound of twisting metal, the priceless precision instrument belched thick black smoke and seized up completely.

The demon was crushed into fragments.
"NO————!!!"
Singularity's wail was even more miserable than the demons'.
"That was a 'Phase Gear Assembly'! One set costs half the City of the Wronged Dead! Slayer! You are burning money! Don't smash the equipment! Kill the mobs, but don't smash the equipment!"
The Slayer shook the oil and blood off his gauntlets.
He looked at the scrapped machine, then at the several electronic doors around it that had automatically opened because the machine stopped and power was lost.
Efficiency.
This was the highest efficiency.
He stepped over the ruins and continued deeper.
The middle level of the mine, where a large number of Spirit slaves were held.
Seeing this god of death bulldozing his way through, the Demon Overseers guarding the place panicked.
A high-tier demon called a "Lasher" grabbed a Spirit girl nearby, held a sharp high-frequency vibration dagger to her throat, and hissed at the Slayer:
"Stand back! One step closer and I kill her! Back off! Drop your weap—"
Threats?
The Slayer's steps didn't pause for even a microsecond.
Before the demon could even finish its sentence, the Slayer's Yin Yang Shotgun was already raised.
Distance: Fifty meters.
Separated by complex piping and a hostage.
Singularity held his breath: "Slayer! That's a hostage! That's a top-tier gardener we need to recruit! Do not fire! Friendly fire risk is high! Let me hack into its collar first..."
*BANG!*
The gun fired.
The Slayer gave Singularity no time to hack, and the demon no chance to act.
The demon-steel barrel didn't spray buckshot, but a precisely calculated "Pure Yang Thunder" Slug.
The golden lightning grazed the trembling tip of the Spirit girl's ear, not even singeing a single hair.
*SPLAT!*
The bullet precisely shattered half the Demon Overseer's head.
The demon's hand dropped limply, the dagger falling. The Spirit girl collapsed to the ground in terror, staring blankly at the smoking gun barrel.
The Slayer still didn't stop.
He strode past the girl.
His gaze didn't linger on her for even a moment, as if she were just a rock by the roadside.
He only stared at the red dots ahead.
More demons, more killing.
The shoulder cannon behind him rotated automatically, ruthlessly picking off assassins trying to ambush from the shadows on both sides.
*Zzz—Bang!*
*Zzz—Bang!*
Where the Slayer passed, a road was paved with corpses.
But he didn't walk in a straight line.
He was like an out-of-control bulldozer, specifically targeting facilities that looked the sturdiest, most precise, and most heavily guarded by demons to smash into.
A wall of special glass covered in defensive runes blocked the way.
Singularity: "Wait! That's an iris verification lock! I have the clearance, give me ten seconds to decryp—"
*CRASH!*
The Slayer activated Blood Punch directly, shattering the entire glass wall with one punch.
Singularity: "...Okay, physical brute-forcing is also cracking."
A suspended energy bridge was retracting, attempting to cut off the Slayer's route.
Singularity: "Crap! The road is cut! Need to find a detour through the vents..."
The Slayer took a running start, jumped.
In mid-air, he drew the chainsaw, hooked it directly onto a high-voltage power cable overhead, and zipped to the other side like a zip line amidst a shower of sparks. Upon landing, he casually tore the cable, causing a blackout in half the mining area.
Singularity watched the surveillance zones on his screen go dark one by one, watching the smashed consoles, the dismantled assembly lines, the precision instruments being tossed around as projectiles.
His heart was bleeding.
But this was indeed "Infiltration."
Because every demon that saw the Slayer was dead.
Every piece of equipment capable of sounding an alarm was shattered.
The entire mine fell into a deathly silence, save for the occasional distant explosion and the heavy metal footsteps.
The Slayer stood before the final gate leading to the mine's Core Command Tower.
It was a blast door three meters thick, cast from Abyssal Black Gold.
He didn't knock.
He unslung the BFG-9000 from his back.
Singularity was too weak to complain anymore; he said feebly: "Slayer... that door... is actually quite expensive... never mind, as long as you're happy."
*HUMMMM————BOOM!*
A green beam of light blasted the door open.
The Slayer walked into the core zone, stepping on molten iron.
Behind him was a mess of a safe zone where, although equipment damage was severe, "not a single demon survived."
The Spirit slaves peeked out from their hiding corners, looking at that green back with fear and awe.
This was his method of "Infiltration."
Simple, brutal, and... expensive.
...
Netherworld Control Center.
Singularity clutched his chest, swallowed two quick-acting heart pills, and looked at the map of the mining area on the screen, which, while a mess, had indeed been "liberated."
"Alright... at least the territory is secured."
"Even if the repair costs might be astronomical."
Singularity shifted his gaze to the deepest part of the screen, the room at the top of the Command Tower emitting an eerie purple light.
The energy readings there were strange.
Not like a typical Demon Lord.
That fluctuation... carried a sickening, viscous sense of being watched.
Singularity's expression hardened.
"Slayer, be careful."
"This final boss, I'm afraid, won't be that simple."
"That guy hiding up there, it didn't run, nor did it panic. It is... watching you."
*Next Chapter: False God · Thousand-Eyed Tyrant. This guy doesn't play melee; it plays mind games. The kind of 'Mental Pollution' the Slayer hates the most is coming again.*
