After a while of walking though the cave, the group arrived at a large hanger housing a silver spaceship that was reimbursable that of a bomber but at the size of a destroyer.

  The hangar, though only having one spacecraft, was big enough to hold multiple of them.

  "This is what you wanted to use correct?"

  The red haired spoke as he looked towards Lucius.

  After hearing the question, Lucius answered as he smiled brightly and closed his eyes towards the man:

  "Why, yes it is. So when do we leave?"

  "Right now."

  The man said as he tossed a pair of keys towards Lucius.

  "Excellent."

  Lucius replied as he caught the keys in his left hand before handing them to Charlie.

  After everyone got in the vehicle, the door they used to enter shut down behind them, and one opened in front of them showing a runway.

  As the vehicle ran on the path, Johan started to think about what his father told him and what happened today:

  "I am protecting…I'm trying to protect my father's honor. That does count as fighting for protecting myself or others, It's just not the life of another."

  After mulling over the matter, Johan got up and started to train in his room. Practicing the moves he learned as well fixing the problems that Lucius had pointed out during their matches.

  After about 15 minutes of this, Johan finally decided to leave his room to find something to eat but when he was about to leave the room, Rodolfo opened the door, and entered with a book.

  Before Johan could react, Rodolfo spoke, his tone gentle as he smiled softly:

  "Hey kid, you're gonna need to learn this so you don't die"

  "That's really reassuring." Johan said sarcastically as he looked at the bronze skinned man in front of him.

  "Yeah yeah, anyways you're learning about skill levels, and the fighter pathway."

  "Skill levels?"

  "Yes, skill levels. Just read and you'll see."

  Rodolfo said as he handed the book to Johan.

  "Why does it have to be a physical book?"

  Johan asked, his face showing his confusion.

  "Because if it was on the web, hackers would have a chance to find it, which would make the existence of controllers known to the public. Which would probably make more unaffiliated controllers who may have bad intentions."

  Rodolfo said, his tone was just as friendly as ever.

  Johan upon hearing looked down at the books in his hands before replaying:

  "Ok."

  There are 14 levels when it comes to skill.

  Novice, intermediate, skilled, master, quasi grandmaster, grandmaster, quasi great grandmaster, great grand master, quasi supreme master, supreme master, quasi supreme grandmaster, supreme grandmaster, quasi supreme great grandmaster, supreme great grandmaster, and ultimate which go by others names such as for example swordsmen, it's Swordsaint, spearmen it's Lance angel, and so on.

  Not only does having more mastery over your weapon just make you better in combat, it also allows you to have abilities, and earn titles that you couldn't get before.

  At the level of great grandmaster, you can now choose what you wanna hurt when you attack.

  If a swordsman at this mastery or higher hits you with his blade, they can choose whether it can hurt you or not.

  If they choose for the blade not to cut you, their sword will phrase right through your body, and no wound will be on your body though you will still feel the pain of being cut.

  Not only that but they can also pick any item as long as it functions the same way as the weapon they're skilled at and use it as that weapon.

  Of course it will not be as effective as an actual weapon in their hands but it still does damage and of course they can choose if they can hurt you with it or not just like an actual weapon.

  "So they can just bypass defense at the level of a great grandmaster?"

  Johan asked as he lowered the book and looked towards Roldofo.

  "Well yes and no. Yes because it's your defense as in your body's. But if something is blocking and they cut it. It only phrases through, if they can't cut it, but only damage it, it will not chip or something along those lines when they choose not to hurt it. If they can't cut it, then when they choose not to hurt the item, it will simply bounce off like normally. The only difference is the item will not be harmed at all. No chips, no smears, it will be as if they never collided."

  Rodolfo explained as he gesticulated with his hands.

  "Ok."

  Johan said before returning to reading the book.

  At the level of Ultimate, you can cut whatever you want when you want. It doesn't matter how durable it is, you will be able to cleanly cut it like a hot knife on butter.

  The only limitation is that you need to cut it, so for things you can't cut in half because of the size or you're not in range or it's not something that can be cut at all, those things don't apply.

  Those last time abilities only go for melee weapons because long range weapons need both the projectile and the projectile launcher.

  There are also titles, the most famous of which is the Swordsaint title in which you need one, a sword spirit weapon, two, supreme great grandmaster mastery in swordsmanship, and have mastered multiple forms of sword fighting.

  After that you must make a prayer towards God in being his swordsman and then master ten moves or create ten more before perfecting them.

  The next step is to defeat three supreme great grandmasters of swordsmanship in a swordfight or in a fight where it is mostly a swordfight.

  But that's if you are already the number one swordsman. If not you will need to fight the current number one who is most likely the current holder of the title.

  After reading that part, Johan flipped to the next page which was about the fighter pathway.

  After about 30 minutes of reading, Johan finally finished.

  "Ok so a ranged slash is not a slash but rather an extension of the weapon which gives more range but is weaker than the main body of the weapon and they can take on a form for better use?"

  "Yeah."

  Rodolfo said nonchalantly as he replied to Johan's question. "And when they become an angel they are able to control better to where they are able to change the range of it mid combo?"

  "Yep."

  "So if I swing my sword the first time, the range slash is only 2 centimeters but when I swing it again in the same second, it's now 4 inches."

  "if you choose it to be."

  "Ok why is that the most flashy thing fighters can do? Everything else is simply enhancing or creating physical objects."

  Rodolfo replied as he stood up:

  "It's simply because it looks flashy. You're still creating a physical object. It's just not something you hold."

  "Alright."

  Johan said as he shrugged his shoulders before getting up and giving the book back to Rodolfo. Upon seeing this, Rodolfo grabbed the book, and placed it on Johan's bed:

  "It's yours now kiddo."

  "Oh."

  "Well anyways you wanna get something to eat?"

  "Sure, I was going to leave to find something to eat before you came to me."

  "Oh sorry about that."

  "It's nothing."

  Upon finishing his words, both Johan and Rodolfo walked out of the room before leaving for the cafeteria.
