“I leave him up to you now,” Ken told the veteran and stood up.
“Fine, go on,” the veteran replied.
Anders couldn’t get what was happening there, looking confused.
Ken ran towards the entrance where his friends were.
“I don’t understand anything,” Anders muttered.
“Even I don’t know what I am doing, but he gives me the belief and trusts me after all these years, when I thought I lost it all,” the veteran replied.
“I don’t know why a person like you has been in this prison; that king must be exactly like what he said,” Anders said, remembering the words of a certain man that he knew very well.
“He acts as if he knew the future, why am I believing so much in him? Why does he believe me?” the veteran thought, surprised by the actions of Ken.
On the other side,
He entered the area around the prison. The man who wants to meet the coin flipper, but couldn’t due to fate, is going to meet him finally.
“It seems like our men did a great job,” the brown-haired guy muttered, seeing the fallen soldiers outside the prison.
“Seems like the king hasn’t arrived yet, my plan might be easier than I thought,” he added, looking around the surroundings.
Meanwhile,
Harkey was closing in on his destination. His heart rate increased every time the car moved forward a few meters.
“It’s not what I expected,” he muttered, seeing the environment.
He heard the footsteps of the horses. Before he could realise it, it was the knight and his soldiers who were approaching the prison from the left side.
Harkey stopped the car. He was more nervous than ever before.
“What can I do? What should I do now?” he was panicking out of fear.
“Should I park here? Should I go forward?” he was clearly confused and couldn’t decide.
The prison was approximately 200 meters away. He couldn’t see the brown-haired guy because he was on the verge of entering it.
The men who came with the knight saw neither Harkey nor the car. They were focused, and more than their horses’ sound overshadowed the sound of the other.

Harkey stepped out of the car with the sword. He took a long breath, knowing that it was going to be a long day.
“It feels like I am in a fiction, but it’s scarier than they say,” Harkey said after stepping out of the car.
His body sweated even though it was cold out there. His pulse tightened, with his heart racing still as if his life’s clock were ticking.
Harkey wanted to run away out of fear, but he held his sword tightly and remembered the days he spent with his friends.
“I am a man, I shouldn’t run away,” he decided to go forward.
He began walking slowly without making a noise towards the prison.
At the same time,
Ken reached the spot where his friends were.
“Thank god, I got here quickly,” Ken muttered, a sigh of relief for him.
“What happened inside, Ken? Why are you looking so stressed?” Andrew asked.
All four waited for Ken’s answer.
“Answer, Hiyose Ken, I am also waiting,” a man muttered on arriving at the scene.
Galen, Medrick and the Chaos Prince turned back, and Andrew and Ken saw him.
“Are you one of them?” The Chaos Prince asked.
“He must be him,” Ken thought, waiting for the confirmation.
Andrew realised who he was by the look on his face.
“You got it right, I am one of them, I saw you somewhere?” the brown-haired guy asked, smirking.
“Chaos Prince! What are you doing here? Wanna team up with me?” he asked, realising it was him.
“He knew him,” was the reaction of both Andrew and Galen.
“Your goal aligns with me; I also want to kill him,” the brown-haired guy added.
“What is he speaking? I don’t understand anything. Goal? Kill who?” Ken was confused by his words.
“I don’t know who you are, how you know me and my goal, but I won’t join you, I will reach my goal by myself and myself only,” the Chaos Prince muttered.
He ran forward to attack him.
Punch!!
Chaos Prince tried to punch the brown-haired guy, but he failed.
Smash!!
The brown-haired guy smashed the Chaos Prince with his right fist.
“I know you are stronger than that, but I am also stronger, just so you know,” he muttered, after beating him.
“Prince!!! You forgot our plan? To escape, we need to team up to beat this guy,” Ken shouted.
“I will defeat this guy by myself, I don’t need your help,” the Chaos Prince replied, and stood up.
“I don’t have a lot of time, but I like the way it’s going right now,” the brown-haired man muttered.
To the knight and his men,
“Surround the prison!!” the knight ordered his men.
“Don’t let anyone escape!!” he added.
The soldiers followed his words and were about to surround the prison.
Harkey watched all this from hiding in the back of a tree.
“How am I supposed to enter?” he questioned his mind.
“Maybe I should wait for Ken to come out, and then proceed—” he had a thought.
“What if they need my help?” he couldn’t decide.
Back to Anders,
“I won’t spare both of you now,” the scarred man told them, in furious mode.
“Especially you, for what you did,” he added, pointing at Anders.
“I need to save him somehow; to do that, I need to defeat this guy,” the veteran thought.
“Shall we begin?” the veteran asked, and thought of a plan.
The scarred man ran forward, took out the sword, and
Imperial Surge!!
Even though it wasn’t his move, he wanted to use it for Veris.
Swayed!!
The veteran swayed the attack.
Sword Slash!!
The scarred man doesn’t look like he was going to spare them; he was going with full force.
BLOCKED!!
The veteran blocked it with his sword.
“What am I doing here? Am I just watching their fight? How did I become like this?” Anders is questioning his choices.
Counter-Punch!!
The veteran tried to counter punch while blocking, but the scarred man avoided it.
“Why is he following Ken’s orders?” Anders’ thought.
Imperial Surge!!
The scarred man, this time, used it with a lot of his Ignis passed onto his sword, and hit it quickly, giving no time for the veteran to think about it.
The veteran adjusted his positioning somehow, but still received a slight blow on his waist.
“If only I were stronger, I would have—” Ander’s thought, after seeing their fight.
GENTLE BREAKER!!!
All 3 heard the screaming of someone. They recognised who it was by the voice.
“Ken is fighting who?” Ander’s mind searched for the answer.
The veteran had a smile when he heard those words.
