Chapter 13- Family Matters!

  Back at home, Alice and I were packing my stuff, it turns out that Alice got into Emerald Heart University as well, we also got our uniforms, dark gray with Emerald-green trim and accents, afterwards, we tried on our new uniforms, the colors really bring out Alice's long, wild brown hair, as well as her ocean-blue eyes.

  When Mom came up and saw our uniforms, she was awestruck, "Honey come look!"

  Dad came up a seccond ter, and saw us, i decided to wear the Men's uniform while Alice wore the Women's uniforms.

  "Brings back memories, doesn't it?" Mom asked.

  "You two look just like us back in the day.." Dad said.

  We both blushed, until a loud beeping sound jolted Mom out of her fantasy.

  "Ooh! dinner's ready!" Mom said as she went downstairs.

  "You really made your mother proud, you know that?" Dad said, "and me as well, i have no doubt you'll make many friends and found memories in college."

  With that, Dad went downstairs as we changed back into our street clothes...

  Meanwhile Stel was not doing so well back at her pce.

  Her folks were not happy that not only did she fail the University Exams, but her actions with me cost Golden Dragon Academy a genius student.

  "Roxy Heart was the best student that school had to offer and you let her slip through our fingers!" said Argos Wester, "who know how long until another one will surface."

  "She's the one who broke up with ME?" Stel argued.

  "I wonder why...." He said, turning to his wife, "I knew you spoiling her would have concequences!"

  "She is a Wester, All i've got to do is make a few calls and i'm sure a University will be gd to have her." her mother, Aria said.

  Aria was the CEO of Aria Bio-Tech, Megacity-13's rgest scientific company, ever since the Awakening, her company has been the spearhead of many biological inovations.

  "Oh NO! you and Stel have done enough damage, you're both lucky Roxy had the kindness not to sue!" Argos said, "You are officially cut off young dy, until you can learn to treat others with the same respect you would danm want yourself!"

  "Oh, and what if i say otherwise?" asked Aria, "She's my daughter too!"

  "Which is why she'll be staying with my parents, until i deem her ready to come home!"

  "Those hicks? over my dead body!" snapped Aria, "you're going to punish our child simply because somone dumped her?"

  "Roxy told me everything, how these two were once together, but Stel didn't treat her like a lover, only a servant, never once did they hug, or kiss." Argos said, "Anyway, the decision is final, and i already had the maid pack her bags, she leaves tomorrow!"

  "You're an awful father!!" Aria screamed as she stormed off.

  Stel said nothing as she went upstairs....

  Argos, now alone poured himself a drink and sat in his chair, "How did my family get this spoiled?" he said a he took a big gulp of his drink....
