Chapter 5- The University Exams!

  The Next day, i went to school with a much lighter attitude, i decided to save the Golden Core i got from that boss monster for ter.

  When i entered the cssroom, everyone crowded arround me like a hero, "Is it true Rox? did you really break up with Stel?" one girl asked.

  I simply nodded, i wasn't ashamed..

  "Good for you! that bitch was only taking advantage of you!" Alice spoke.

  "I'm just sorry you had to go through that shit." another student said.

  As the homeroom teacher entered we all returned to our seats.

  "Hello css." Spoke Ms. Yuri, "As you all know, In 3 weeks, the University Exams will begin, those pnning to go to a University will want to participate."

  We all nodded in agreement, my pn is to attend Emerald Heart University, who specializes in cultivation of Beast Heroes.

  "The Exams will consist of two parts, one is an analysis of your skills, the seccond is mock combat against AI-controlled robots." Ms. Yuri spoke, "It is in your best intrest to work hard if you want to attract the university of your choice."

  We all agreed, once you awaken, you have two choices, either join a guild, or try to get into a University to get strong enough to join a guild.

  After School, i made my way home, once there, Mom was waiting for me.

  She was tall, busty, and had hips that could knock down buildings, but she was strong, way stronger than Dad, her Beast Form was the Fox.

  "Hey sweetie, dinner is almost ready, how was school?" she asked.

  "Pretty good..." i said.

  "Do you know which university you wanna go to?" she asked, "I heard about the University Exams."

  "Emerald Heart University." i replied, "Like you and Dad."

  "Oh Sweetie, i'm so happy for you, you won't regret it." she said as she gave me a hug, Mom's hugs always made me feel better.

  "Where's Dad?" i asked with a worried tone.

  "He should be back soon..." she replied.

  Dad was a good person, he wasn't the perfect dad, but he loved us both, he always said that the day i was born was the happiest day of his life, he is a Non-Awakened.

  Just then Dad came storming in, a dark mood in his face, "Of all the fucking luck!" he snapped.

  "Dad, what's wrong?" i asked.

  Dad ruffled my hair, "It's nothing sweetie..."

  "You got id off again, didn't you?" i guessed.

  "Danmit, who told you?" he asked.

  "Just a guess, i saw a lot of Non-Awakened trying to find work." i expined.

  "Oh sweetie...." Dad said.

  "Dad, you know, if money is getting tight, i could join a guild..." i said.

  "She's right sweetie, she's already a Disciple-rank."

  "No, i can't do that to you, you're going to college, even if i have to sell my soul!" Dad said.

  "Roxy says she going to Emerald Heart University, like us!" Mom said.

  "Aww, sweetie i'm so happy, you'll love it there, your mother and i met in that college, a lot of fond memories we had there, and now that they are cultivating Beast Heroes there, you'll do just fine."

  With that, we all head to the kitchen to have dinner....
