The Textureless Man

May 1st, 2001. A young boy named C.J. got a free video game from a Cereal Box. Atlantis: Search for the Journal. He hop onto his PC Desktop and started installing. The Installation however was taking over 30 minutes then it crashed. But C.J. was a patient boy when it comes to installation, so he tried again. This time, it worked! After a tedious amount of loading, he finally started to play.

But something seemed off... There are hardly any textures, no voices, the hud was missing, only thing he can hear was the wind and footsteps. But little C.J. was curious to explore this glitchy mess of a game, so he continued. Upon exploring more and more, he was starting to believe that nothing is going on.

Until he turned around, all the sudden he saw... movement... a strange textureless figure walking up after him. It's a Textureless Man weirdly enough. Must be an enemy NPC, but C.J. has no weapons to fight back against him. When the Textureless Man got close, he started stabbing him with what appears to be a knife. Suddenly, C.J. was starting to feel some sort of pain that he cannot explain and it made him a bit scared, so he tried to run away from it. With the lack of textures and shading, he can not see where he was going. He pressed ESC but the menu is all glitched up. He turned around and saw the Textureless man running after him now. With no where else to go, the Textureless man caught up and started stabbing him some more until... the game crashed!
