Chapter 6: My plan.

  Chapter 6: My plan.

The day dawns sunny. Harpya wakes up in his quiet room with a happy expression on his face. He looks to the side and sees Isz motionless, takes a deep breath, and says: "Isz, I'm thinking of going back home... Maybe I won't come back alive, but that doesn't mean you have to give up on living, okay?"

Isz, motionless and lying in bed, doesn't even respond with gestures to his friend's words.

Harpya then puts on his uniform, takes a shower, and leaves his room.

In the castle corridor, Ida encounters Harpya.

  Harpya

Ida, her voice stammering, can't express herself, and her maid, who accompanied her, says that the king sent news and that the situation was completely under control. She received information about other districts that were being protected at the moment and that the people of the kingdom shouldn't worry.

Ida nods in confirmation, gives a slight smile, and holds Harpya's hand.

  Ida:

Harpya experiences a brief moment of relief and walks with the princess through the castle to breakfast.

  Harpya:

Ida is shocked and thinks Harpya is joking, but she sees his serious expression and asks desperately:

  Ida:

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

With tears in her eyes, Ida squeezed Harpya's hand, but he wipes away her tears and tells her his plan.

  Harpya:

Ida gets scared and hugs Harpya tightly, saying she's afraid he'll die if he goes back.

  Harpya:

  Ida:

  Harpya

Ida understands Harpya's point of view and knows he's right. She invites him for a walk in the city, and he says he'd like to ride in an airship. They set off, and from up there they observe the entire kingdom.

Harpya is impressed by the view and manages a slight smile. Ida, scared but curious, looks at the kingdom and says the view is very beautiful from up there, but then her expression changes and she rests her face against Harpya's chest, saying that he has to promise her that he won't die when he returns to Vein.

Harpya takes a deep breath and doesn't know what to say. The princess, with tears in her eyes, kisses him and says that he is the one who should marry her in the future and that while he is away she will take care of Isz, so he should carry out his plan and return to Volny, regardless of the situation.

Harpya returns the kiss and promises to return alive.

Upon returning from their outing, Ida speaks about the meeting of the kingdoms that will take place after the king returns. Harpya says she will go with Ida and calmly discuss her plan with the king, explaining how it will help them in the future.

Two days pass, and the king returns.

When the king returned, Harpya discussed the plan in the king's chamber. The king was reluctant at first, but Harpya told him the truth, which the king didn't want to hear. Harpya said that this was only the beginning and that if they acted in time and returned to Vein to retrieve the remaining archangel and relics, they could have the scientists in the workshop create new pseudo-relics that would help them in combat.

The king agreed and said that he would need some time before the plan could be executed.

With a sad expression, the king authorized Harpya to return to Vein and asked him to return safely after they left.

Harpya thanked him and went to the barracks to prepare his plan for the future.
