CLAIRE & DYLAN
“Dylan, I think we are in the right spot.” Claire says, stopping and looking around.
Dylan, looking around, also agrees, pointing to the left at a fallen tree, tells her. “We can wait right there, behind that tree it should be big enough to crouch behind and watch without giving us away.”
Claire walks to the dead tree and jumps over it. Turning to look over her sight lines, she tells Dylan, “This is prefect.”
Also jumping over the tree to land next to Claire. Dylan tells her, “I’ll let you start and just follow your lead. No confused targeting that way.”
Claire nods her head in agreement. Muted thunder sounds off in the distance. “That sounded like Milly.” Claire observes.
“She is surprising isn’t she?”
“Milly is way smarter than people expect, I am not sure why she hides behind the goofball act.”
Dylan replies, “I suspect she has some self esteem issues like the rest of us and that is her way of defecting attention.” He looks at Claire with a smile, then tells her, “See all those talks with Eunice haven’t been wasted.”
Claire answers, “Wow, Eunice really is the Voice of the goddess. She has taught a rock to think.” She teases.

Dylan narrows his eyes in mock anger, telling her, “You will pay, mother taught me how to make itching powder. Now let's hide. The patrol should be here any minute if my timing is right.” The couple wait in silence, and a few minutes go by.
Claire hisses in a low tone of voice, “Movement my left,”
“I see it,” Dylan mutters. A few seconds later, Dylan whispers, “Incoming right, we need to switch places they are going to be too far right for you to start attacking.”
The two shift places as quietly as they can. Both of the wargs stop and look over at the fallen tree. Freezing in place, not daring to even breathe, the two wait for the warg rider's reaction. The goblins, not seeing anything amiss, kick their mounts forward to continue the patrol path. With hand gestures, Dylan shows he will stay down. When the warg riders converge, Claire is to stand and attack, and he will fall back, to get out of her way, then followup.
Claire, nods her head in agreement and watches the riders intently. Just before the wargs cross each other, Claire stands and cast her Primal Missiles at one warg, then the other. Causing the wolf like monsters to seize and collapse. Dylan rolling back and to the side, stands and cast Ice Missiles at the monsters. Claire's four Primal Missiles and Dylan's flurry of icicles turn the first warg into bloody chunks of meat. The goblins charge the attacking couple, and Claire slams missiles into the lead goblin. With another round of casting into the second goblin, both goblins, fall to the ground screaming in pain. Dylan continues targeting the remaining warg, killing it. Turning to focus on the goblins, Dylan finds Claire has killed both. Claire, looking over at Dylan, tells her partner, “I think we should just use your Fire Ball spells on the fence. That will be the noisiest and quickest.” Putting Claire's words to action, Dylan casts his Fire Ball spells at the base of the fence. After a large section of the fence just turns to ash. The team turns and smiles at each other in satisfaction.
“Lets move out, we have have friends waiting.” Dylan says.
