“So as I explained in paragraphs three, eight,t and twelve, there is no secret boyfriend…” Yun looked through the essay I made and twisted his mouth. “So it was just Morgan?” I nodded, “Yeah, he was weird.” “The robot guy? I had no idea he was weird” Anre laughed, we left the train after a few stations as guards from the Maw started to check the train more often, it was better for us to start walking “No, like… he asked me what was I doing and he seemed really confused by our actions” “still, why would the General force him to retreat? he had you in his literal grasp” “I wondered the same thing, but what matters is that he did and I didn't kiss him!” while we were arguing and walking through the forest, mist started to surround us, a thick layer of white covering us, making our sight difficult, “Say Yun, is this region known for its mist?” Parker asked while moving his arms in front of him, “Yeah, the village of Salun should be near here… but I haven't been there before, so I'm unsure how far away it is.”
“Salun… Salun… that name rings a bell although I can't remember it” Parker said lost in his thoughts, Yun looked through his bag and pulled out his newspaper, he then got his face really close to it to be able to read it “Oh… we might be in troubles” Anre crossed his arms, in this mist he looks like a towering shadow “what kind? like the ones we can fix with violence?” we all got closer as to not be separated “so I was reading an article about the area, around here there have been some incidents, people go missing often, I believe”
He turned the paper towards us. It was hard to see, but I managed to spot four people′s pictures. I managed to make out the words “Missing,” “Blood,” and “Campsite,” but it was all I could see. So it's a moonlight beast, right? We′ll just kill it.” Anre, even in this dimmed sight, I think I just saw him shiver. Yun shook his head, “No, I recall the article says that no traces of moonlight beasts were found, it was as if they had been MASDFGHJKL!” Anre moved quickly to cover Yun′s mouth. “SHUUUUUUUUU!!! Do not say it, Yunnie!” “They were taken by ghosts?” I finished the sentence “Don't tell me you are afraid of ghosts, Anre,” Yun said, teasing him. “N…N…N…No, I just don't… Anyway, we'd better keep walking, or else we might lose each other in the mist, Right Parker… Parker? PARKER?!?”
“By the gods, you are loud… I′m literally right next to Karolin, I was just thinking, if we keep walking the trial we should be fine… or we could ask the will-o-wisp over there for directions” Parker pointed at a shiny spot that was moving along the road, and even with Anre′s complains and worries we decided to ask the stranger, the person was wearing a riding hood, navy blue with a green trim, they also were holding a lantern on their hand to show them the way, their features were obscured by the mist and the hood “Excuse me, we seem to be lost we are looking for the village of Salun, can you point us in its direction?” Yun asked, “Oh sure, but,” the person said in a sweet voice, taking the hood off and revealing a long mane of ashen blond hair, “I′m afraid the village is a good three hours away.”

the woman said and pointed to the road behind her “If you take this path it will take you to the Village but right now it will be very difficult and dangerous there are some turns that lead to some cliffs, if it's okay with you all, you are welcome to…” the woman stopped before she could finish, she used her lantern to take a good look at us and once she looked at Parker her eyes watered, she let her lantern go and hugged him “Parker!!!” Parker was at a complete loss for words, it was interesting to look at, I always thought of Parker as someone with little to no interest in making friends outside of us, he is cold to most people even those who work at libraries or bookstores that shear his hobby and now this beautiful woman is currently burring her face into his shoulder “wow, should we take a picture of this moment?” Anre asked, “I would, but I'm too stunned to move,” Yun said, “She is really cute, good for Parke.r”
the woman stopped her crying and looked at Parker while she smiled, Parker was… looking like he just got petrified “Am… I′m sorry if I′m rude, but, are you sure you know me?” all of our mouths dropped open “I mean… You do know my name but… I′m sorry I don't really recall yours… or who you are… sorry” that last part came out like a little squeak, “is he… embarrassed? Is Parker a normal man?” I asked confused, Yun and Anre shrugged “We have talked about our types before like a normal group of guys does when they run out of things to talk, but he was never interested in that topic” “And this person right here just said all of them” Yun accused Anre, he in retaliation wrapped him into a hug “but you will always be my favorite Yunnie”
Yun rammed his fist into Anre′s cheek and demanded to be let go of, while they had that conversation I tuned back to Anre and the woman, she laughed a little, not upset about Parker not remembering her she just nodded “Right… It′s okay if you don't remember m, we where kids, last time we saw each other you where this tall” she lowered her hand to the hight of her knee “it was twenty years ago, you and your family came to Camp Emerald Creek for a vacation!” Crack! Parker′s face started to crack. The woman didn't notice, so she continued, “My name is Dinna Lefay, ring any bells?” Parker thought for a second, “Yeah… I think I remember a little but you can't be this tall you used to be” Parker smiled and lowered his hand to under his knee “This tall” “Oh you jokester” Dinna laughed and interlocked her arms with Parker′s “I knew you′ll come back one day, so please come to my house, all of you, its a few minutes away, you can wait until the mist lightens”
“Really? I mean no offense, but you don't know us; we could be murderers.” “Hey, thanks a bunch, Lass!” Anre complained while rubbing his shoulder that Yun twisted, Dinna covered her mouth to laugh “Sorry but I don't think Parker would hang out with casual murderers, any friend of PArker is good in my book” she gave us a thumbs up, and a smile “See Lass? she is a kind lady that doesn't judge by the cover” Anre said very offended by the murderers remark “I think we should take her offer is our best option” Yun smiled and looked at Anre “unless we want to be kidnaped by a ghost uuuuuuuuuu” He said and moved his hands up and down towards Anre
