Information Sheet 8: Miu
Name: Miu the 'Mythical Trickster'
Pokemon Species: Mew
Mutation: Has an unbreakable spiritual connection to Ray. The connection is dormant and seemingly no effect or uses.
Gender: Female
Age: 159
Height: 0.6 meters
Origin: Miu was born in the Mystery Jungle on the Grass Continent. She grew up isolated from the outside world, a curious and playful young Pokemon who knew little of what lay beyond the canopy. When the Dark Matter was defeated, Miu was only eleven years old, too young to understand the full gravity of the catastrophe, but old enough to feel the world tremble. She met Noah a year later, during his desperate search for his lost partner Ray. The two formed an unlikely bond, a human burdened by guilt and a young Mythical desperate to see the world he believed in. Their journey together changed her forever.
Ability: Synchronize
Synchronize links the Abilityholders emotional and psychic state to the energies around them. When the Abilityholder suffers harm, no matter if physical, emotional, or spiritual, the same affliction is transmitted to the aggressor. But the ability’s true depth lies in its passive resonance. The Abilityholder can sense disturbances in the mental and emotional flow of others, sometimes even sharing fragments of thought or memory without consent. When overused, however, Synchronize can destabilize the Abilityholders psyche, causing overlapping emotions, distorted perception, and momentary loss of identity.
Personality:
At her core, Miu is a paradox. She is a trickster who genuinely wishes to help, a guardian who no longer knows if she saves or controls. In her youth, she was mischievous, warm, and endlessly curious. She would play pranks on wandering explorers, heal injured Pokemon without asking for thanks, and speak passionately about 'doing the right thing' because that’s what Noah had taught her. To Miu, he was not just a hero, he was her moral compass. Noah’s lessons about justice, compassion, and balance shaped everything she became. But when Noah and Ray, her two greatest friends and role models, seemingly betrayed the world and plunged four continents into ruin, Miu’s innocence shattered. From afar, she watched the skies burn, unable to believe that those who had once saved the world now tore it apart. Something inside her fractured that day. The ideals she had learned from Noah twisted under the weight of survival. Miu convinced herself that the world could never afford to trust anyone completely again, not even her. Balance, to her, stopped being something to protect and became something to enforce. She still believes she carries out Noah’s teachings, though she interprets them through a lens of fear and necessity. To her, compassion without restraint is naive. Trust without caution is dangerous. And forgiveness without consequence invites disaster. She still laughs, still teases, still plays the part of the carefree Mew she once was, but it’s a mask. Beneath it lives someone burdened by centuries of guilt and loneliness, someone who cannot stop moving because to stop would mean facing what she’s lost. Deep down, the real Miu, the one who believed in joy, kindness, and hope, is still there, buried under layers of duty and doubt. She wants to believe she’s still that Mew, but she no longer knows how. Her greatest fear is losing purpose. Her greatest flaw is believing she already has.

What Other Characters Say About Her:
Zuko (Zeraora):
"She speaks of balance like it’s salvation, but what she really wants is control. Don’t mistake her calm for kindness, Miu plays her games with a smile because she knows she’s the only one still holding all the pieces. Or at least she thinks so. She’s clever enough to see the storm coming and cruel enough to use it. That’s what makes her useful. At least for now. When the world burns again, and I'm certain the day will come again, she’ll stand in the ashes and tell herself she saved it. And maybe she’ll even believe it."
Vian (Victini):
"Once, she was joy given form, reminding me quite a bit of how Ray was when I first met her. Now, she’s wrong conviction wrapped in steel. I fought beside Noah and Ray, while she watched from afar and convinced herself she knew better, falling for the lies of people she really shouldn't trust. That distance changed her. Miu stopped believing in other Pokemon, she believes only in her judgment now. We were friends once, before all of this. Now, when we speak, it’s like conversing through glass. We see each other, we remember what was, but the warmth never passes through. I still pity her. She’s chasing Noah’s ghost, trying to fix a world that was never hers to mend. She's not a hero in the same way Noah and Ray were. She's just unable to accept that."
Sia (Marshadow):
"She calls herself a guardian of balance, but all she guards is her own fear. Miu’s problem is that she thinks she understands what Noah and Ray stood for and convinced herself she's doing a better job than they ever did. She's not. She’s obsessed with preventing another catastrophe, but she’s forgotten that trust and compassion were what saved the world, not manipulation and control. She hates me because I remind her of what she lost. Her faith in others and the trust in our mutual mentors. She’ll call me reckless, childish and blind. Maybe she’s even right about some of it. But at least I’m not afraid to believe again. She’d rather kill hope than risk being wrong."
