Ch74: ‘Interrogating’ Inanna

A dull pain encompasses Krvavy’s entire being. Each and every movement she makes, no matter how small or insignificant it is, sends uncomfortable aches echoing through her body. Having been shot with a bow, a crossbow, and a gun, Krvavy can absolutely say that this feels worse. Maybe not in intensity, but... this is a lot harder to ignore.

She definitely went overboard in pounding her puppy. And Krvavy wouldn’t have it any other way.

Khalia is beyond satisfied. The Orc is more or less in a cum-coma, her belly visibly swollen with seed. She kept wanting more and more, so Krvavy kept giving her more and more, until the pleasure overwhelmed them both. Even now aftershocks are still rolling across her wet and freshly washed body, causing the Orc to twitch and moan in her sleep.

It is kind of adorable, if a pretty perverted sight.

The barbarian smiles down at the Orc nestled so nicely in her arms as she trudges up the path away from the hot springs with... more difficulty than she’d like to admit. Part of what is making this otherwise easy walk into such a struggle is how Krvavy is carrying Khalia: she is holding her puppy like a princess, carefully cradling Khalia’s head and doing her best to make this as comfortable as she can for the unconscious Orc.

Oh, and she is also carrying Beryl too. Just not nearly as nicely. The Elf has simply been slung over her shoulder like a sack of flour.

Frankly, that tomboy is damn lucky that she hasn’t been dropped even once so far. Because there is a good chance that the barbarian wouldn’t even bother to pick her back up.

To put it lightly, Krvavy is still pretty upset with her Elf. She was even tempted to leave Beryl down in the grotto. But Krvavy ultimately decided to carry her up as well, even if that has made this climb more difficult than it needed to be. They are going to have quite the talk when Beryl wakes up.

It is honestly really annoying that Beryl even passed out in the first pce.

She wasn’t supposed to cum herself into unconsciousness. She wasn’t supposed to cum at all. Beryl must have been rather... desperate... to even be able to get off from that abuse, from Khalia grinding against her and from Krvavy’s hefty sack spping into her slit...

Which is very frustrating for the Drakling. Krvavy would have much preferred it if her Elf wasn’t able to get off even once during that whole... ordeal. It would have been better if Beryl was stuck at the edge of orgasm... unable to find relief and left to suffer in that state...

On heavy feet Krvavy passes through the rough stone doorway that marks the entrance to her home. With hardly a thought she beelines straight for their bedding. The barbarian delicately pces Khalia down, taking a moment to make sure her puppy is nice and tucked in, before plopping the Elf down with a fair bit less care.

Krvavy’s stomach rumbles rather loudly as she turns towards the firepce. Thea and Inanna are sitting nearby, but the barbarian ignores them both as she grabs up a bowl and fills it with stew. Not bothering to pick up a spoon, she simply brings that bowl to her lips and tilts her head back, drinking the meal down.

But after all that she has done today a single serving isn’t enough to sate her hunger. So once it is empty she fills it back up for seconds, thirds, and then fourths.

Finally feeling full, Krvavy plops herself down onto one of the stone seats. They aren’t the most comfortable, being just a stone block with some moss and a pelt draped atop it, but it is better than sitting on the ground.

“Eeeehk!” Thea squeaks out in surprise as the barbarian grabs onto her and drags the little brat over.

Krvavy is in a bit of an odd mood right now. She is exhausted and sore, completely cking the energy to do anything sexual. But she really wants to cuddle with her little princess, to feel Thea’s warmth against her skin and to hold the girl in her arms. She needs... a hug.

Sadly, that desire is a little difficult to fulfill due to the bnket wrapped around the noble girl. Thea is clearly not comfortable being naked with a guest in their home, and if she doesn’t want to be exposed in front of this Dwarf, then Krvavy will respect that. For the most part.

“H-hey!” Thea indignantly protests, her face flushing red as she tried to keep herself covered up “What are yo–”

The barbarian silences her with a quick kiss, leaving the brat flustered as her eyes dart over to Inanna.

Taking advantage of that distraction, Krvavy quickly yanks the sheet off of Thea before properly pulling the now naked girl into her p. The bratty noble hardly has the chance to realize what happened before the bnket drapes back over her, loosely wrapping them both in warmth.

“Rex. I... just want to hug you.” The barbarian softly sighs out, shoulders slumping as she wraps her arms around Thea’s waist and rests her chin atop the silver-blonde brat’s head. “Nothing indecent is going to happen. I’m far too tired for that...” Her body grows heavier as she stops fighting the immense exhaustion hanging over her own head.

Thea squirms slightly in Krvavy’s p, rubbing her round rear against the barbarian’s completely soft cock. “This is in-indecent...” She quietly mutters back, simmering in embarrassment as her bright red blush slowly spreads down her neck.

A deep feeling of satisfaction fills Krvavy as she holds tightly onto her little princess and gently squeezes the girl in her grasp. This is great. And it isn’t even tainted by her lust, so she can just enjoy the feeling of holding onto Thea like this.

The barbarian’s eyes zily make their way over to Inanna, gncing over the Dwarf and starting to move away before abruptly jerking back to that woman.

It is rather fortunate that Krvavy’s lust has been thoroughly dealt with, as the Dwarf is completely naked. Without a dress covering her up, it is utterly impossible to ignore Inanna’s huge tits. They are absolutely massive, and not just because they are on her rather short form. Each one is definitely at least twice as rge as Inanna’s head, no doubt about that now.

The Dwarf woman’s titanic tits droop down quite a bit, almost resting on her thick thighs, but not as much as they should be considering their size. Krvavy wouldn’t use the word perky by any means, but they are being held up a little. If the barbarian was horny right now, she would definitely want to get her hands on those monstrous mountains. To feel their weight, to feel how squishy they are, to feel how firm they may be...

“Ahem.” Krvavy clears her throat and lightly shakes her head. It takes some effort to lift her gaze back up... only to find Inanna’s copper-orange eyes staring straight back at her. The Dwarf’s expression is unreadable. “[Why... why are you naked?]”

Inanna slowly raises a single thick eyebrow. “[Is that not the custom around here?]”

Krvavy opens her mouth but pauses before responding. Being naked around here is pretty normal, but... “[You can wear clothes if you’d like. You don’t have to be naked.]”

The Dwarf simply shrugs her shoulders. “[I only have the one dress. I’d rather not wear it down for no reason.]”

“[Huh?]” Krvavy is caught slightly off guard by how nonchant that was. “[You... you are fine with being naked like this...?]”

“[Why would I not be?]” Inanna bnkly replies. The faintest hint of a questioning tone underlines those otherwise neutral and emotionless words. “[I have nothing that you or your girls haven’t seen before.]”

That is an... interesting way to look at it, to say the least.

“[Yeah, but...]” The barbarian slowly speaks, trying to find the right words. “[You do know that I’m going to be lusting after you, right? I can’t exactly help that. And if I didn’t just... ahem... tire myself out, then I’d probably be all over you right now.]”

“[And would a thin yer of fabric stop that?]” The Dwarf rhetorically returns, already knowing the answer.

Krvavy purses her lips rather unhappily. She doesn’t mind being called out like that, but the barbarian doesn’t want Inanna to feel like she is moments away from being raped at all times...

“Psst...! What are you talking about...?” Thea quietly whispers from within the barbarian’s grasp.

“Oh... I was just asking why she is naked.”

“Well?” A bit of demand makes its way into the bratty girl’s voice, before quickly shifting to annoyance. “This Dwarf of yours just stripped down out of nowhere, like some sort of... some sort of freak!”

“My Dwarf, huh...?” Krvavy thoughtfully mutters those words. It really does seem like that, doesn’t it? Sure she was the one who kidnapped Inanna, so Krvavy shouldn’t be surprised by that, but it just feels a bit odd. Almost too easy, really.

“Well?” Thea roughly elbows Krvavy in the stomach, a little too roughly. “Why is this Dwarf naked?!”

“She doesn’t want her dress to get damaged.”

“Really?! That is it?!” The bratty girl huffs rather incredulously. “I thought Dwarves were supposed to have dignity!? What sort of weirdo did you bring home?!”

“Be nice.” Krvavy zily chides, briefly squeezing Thea a little tighter. “Did you really miss me that much?”

“W-what!? Where is that coming from?! I do not care what you do, you... you lousy lizard!”

Krvavy trails a finger along her little princess’ jaw, lifting Thea’s chin up before ciming the girl’s lips with a kiss. A genuine one this time. Not just a quick distraction.

The barbarian’s long tongue pushes its way into Thea’s mouth, quickly dominating the brat and drawing out muffled moans.

But just as the kiss begins to get too heated, with Thea’s delicate hands starting to trail across the barbarian’s body, Krvavy abruptly pulls back. She only has so much energy, and it’d be cruel to get this girl all worked up only to leave her wanting.

“Hah... Y-you...!” Thea shakily stammers, her face a bright red colour. The noble girl jumps slightly in Krvavy’s arms as her eyes gnce over at the unimpressed Dwarf, immediately widening in shock. “You bully!” She squeaks out in embarrassment, burying her face into Krvavy’s chest and trying to hide beneath the bnket.

Krvavy just smiles happily as her hand lovingly pats her brats head. She missed this. She really did...

The barbarian takes a few minutes to just enjoy Thea’s presence, but she can’t ignore Inanna forever. She needs to know more about... her Dwarf.

But there is a problem with that: Krvavy has no idea where to begin. There are so many things she could ask Inanna, but she doesn’t know how to ask them or even if the Dwarf will give an answer

After a few moments an idea comes to her: what about the Dwarf’s character sheet? It would be a decent pce to start, and there was one thing that stood out to her: Inanna’s mana. To put it nicely, this Dwarf’s mana was rather... underwhelming. Inanna is level twenty-two, with some pretty decent mental stats, and yet both her total mana and mana regen are worse than what Thea has, a girl more than a dozen levels lower with mental stats all below ten.

“[If you don’t mind me asking... Why is your mana so low? Just in general, I mean.]”

Inanna quirks her brow as her intense copper-orange eyes stare straight at Krvavy. “[I am a Dwarf.]” She says as if the answer was obvious, before sighing after a few seconds under the barbarian’s expectant gaze. “[We Dwarves don’t mix well with magic. It is said that we receive only a quarter of the mana that other races would have with comparable levels, csses, and attributes. Though I do not know if that is exactly a quarter, or a simplification due to rounding.]”

That... honestly sounds pretty bad to Krvavy. Even though she hasn’t done all that much with magic, she absolutely loves it. The ability to make her will into reality with just a thought and a bit of concentration... It is great.

So for a whole race to be pretty much nerfed when it comes to magic... Well, Krvavy is gd that her desire to not be short ultimately kept her from being a Dwarf. Kind of bullshit that there wasn’t a warning or anything during character creation, as she wouldn’t have even considered making herself a Dwarf had she known that...

“[It isn’t too bad.]” Inanna idly states, almost as if she could hear Krvavy’s thoughts. “[As a result of that, we Dwarves all have a base magical resistance of forty percent. And that is before relevant traits are considered, let alone the effects of armour or runes.]”

“[Wow...]” Krvavy breathes out. Forty percent... Being able to resist almost half of all magic damage straight off the bat... That is just ridiculous. Okay, being a Dwarf doesn’t seem that bad anymore. They definitely sound like an ideal race for a tank build. Still isn’t exactly Krvavy’s thing, but she can really see the value in that.

With the question answered, Inanna quickly falls back into silence.

“Who... who is this Dwarf anyway...?” Thea hesitantly speaks up after a few moments.

“Oh. You never got introduced...” The barbarian blinks rather bnkly, suddenly feeling a little guilty.

“Yeah, and it is all the fault of that stupid knife-eared crone! Dumping this on me and then dragging you away! Who does she think she is?!”

Krvavy pats her silver-blonde brat on the head, calming the girl down a little. “Thea, this Dwarf is Inanna. She is a Runesmith, and she’ll be able to help build our home.”

“Hmm...” Thea hums thoughtfully. “Is that all you know about her?” She asks, sounding a little critical.

  “Not really, but also yes.”

“And you have been with her for how many days?” The noble brat huffs, before lightly shaking her head. “How old is she? You can never tell with Dwarves. Almost as bad as Elves...”

“[Inanna, do you mind if I ask you some questions? Thea here wants to know more about you.]”

“[Go ahead.]” The Dwarf just barely shrugs her shoulders.

“[How old are you? Both in years and how much that is for a Dwarf.]”

“[I am forty-eight years of age.]” Inanna replies without any hesitation. “[That is roughly a seventh of the way through my lifespan, as we Dwarves tend to live around three-hundred-twenty years, give or take a few decades.]”

That response causes a twinge of annoyance to rise up in Krvavy, though not because of anything that Inanna had said. It is just a bit complicated, having all of these different races with their different lifespans. A number on its own doesn’t mean much without any context. For a human, being a seventh of the way through life would usually mean that they are roughly between eleven and fourteen, and Inanna is definitely much older than that. Not only did she have a job, but she also looks like she is in her te twenties or even her early thirties.

Seeing the barbarian’s thoughtful expression, Inanna decides to eborate. “[We Dwarves are typically considered adults by our early twenties. Rather than a specific age, we must pass a test showing our maturity and ability to bear responsibility. As a result, some become adults younger and others much ter. For myself, I became an adult at the age of twenty-two. A respectable age, on the earlier side but not by much.]”

“[That’s interesting.]” Krvavy honestly replies. “[But what about the people who never grow up?]”

“[In theory? Exile.]” The Dwarf dryly responds. “[In practice, that never happens. The threat of being tossed out into the open world makes people smarten up and get their lives together. But there are still those who take years to mature, and they are typically punished for that. Usually by having their standing removed and being pushed into unpopur jobs, such as sanitation. Few wish to scrub down the sewers, no matter how important such a job is.]”

“Uh, hello!?” Thea indignantly elbows Krvavy once more. “How old is she? It does not take that many words to say a number!”

Krvavy clicks her tongue at Thea’s impatience before telling the noble girl what Inanna had said. Well, some of what Inanna said, as Krvavy left out the parts that she knows Thea could not care less about. So most of it.

“Okay, then what about her family?” Thea immediately asks. “She does have a family, right?”

“[Thea wants to know if you have a family.]” Krvavy reys her brats question, frowning slightly as she does so. “[She is... worried that they will miss you.]” The barbarian lies, as she doesn’t want the Dwarf to think that Thea is a bitch. The noble girl kind of is, but that isn’t the point.

“[My mother will worry, but that is all.]” Inanna simply shrugs her shoulders. “[My cousins, aunts, and uncles were all rather happy to have someone who stained the family name sent off to a human city, so at most they will use my supposed death for sympathy.]”

  “[And your father?]”

“[Died when I was young. Around four or five, I can hardly remember. He ran into a colpsing mine and saved just over a dozen men, but he couldn’t save himself.]” The Dwarf’s copper-orange eyes harden as a slight bit of anger makes its way onto her face. “[They bmed him for the colpse. He had been critical of the supports being used, ciming that they wouldn’t be strong enough to withstand an earthquake. He was right. Which made those who were actually responsible look bad, as they had ignored a valid concern. But there was nothing a grieving widow with a young daughter could do to fight for his innocence, so they got off without even their reputations being tarnished.]”

Once again, Krvavy doesn’t really know how to respond as that information is dumped onto her. This Dwarf has not had the happiest life, has she...?

After a few moments of silence, Thea impatiently clears her throat. With a sigh, Krvavy begins to tell her what Inanna had said.

“Yeah, yeah.” The noble brat interrupts Krvavy, cutting the barbarian off shortly after hearing that Inanna only has her mother. “Now, how did she become a Runesmith? That sounds like it could be interesting.”

Having the question reyed to her in a slightly more polite manner, Inanna slowly gives her answer. “[It is a lengthy process, beginning when we are children. Before becoming adults, we Dwarves are put through a general education which covers a variety of topics, intended to help us find what we are good at. Of course, that isn’t everything and we must then still be accepted into one of the more specialized schools or as an apprentice.]”

The Dwarf pauses briefly to stretch her arms in front of her, inadvertently squishing her rge breasts together and lifting them up. Even though Krvavy is completely spent, she still quite enjoys that sight. How could she not?

“[I was accepted on account of my marks.]” Inanna calmly continues. “[Had I not been top of my css, I am unsure if I would have been let in, on account of my family’s poor standing. Regardless, that led to a further decade of rather intense schooling, followed by four years of shadowing, and then finally being able to work as an entry-level Runesmith, which I have been for nearly a dozen years now.]”

Thea looks up at Krvavy expectantly, gently nudging the barbarian and making it clear that she wants to hear Inanna’s response.

“She had a lot of schooling.”

“Ugh!” The noble brat groans out. “This isn’t working!”

“Would you like to talk to her yourself?”

“Uh, yeah?!” Thea sarcastically replies. “It is a pain to talk through you! Just teach her how to speak already!”

“Me?” Krvavy pyfully questions. “Didn’t Beryl say that was your job?”

The silver-blonde brat huffs and crosses her arms. “That crone is not the boss of me! Besides, you already speak her nguage!”

“Yeah, but... I don’t really understand either nguage.” Krvavy admits with a weak shrug. “It is kind of... complicated? Weird? I hear what is being said as what I know, but I don’t really know what is being said...?” The barbarian suddenly shakes her head, as thinking about that is starting to give her a slight headache. “Look, I’ll help you. But I’m not entirely sure how useful I’ll be.”

“Fine...” Thea reluctantly grumbles, wiggling slightly in Krvavy’s p.

“[Hey,]” The barbarian addresses the Dwarf, “[how do you feel about learning Common?]”

“[I would prefer to keep speaking my own tongue, but...]” Inanna slowly trails off with a sigh. “[It is more practical for me to learn how to communicate with your other women than if we were to do it the opposite way around. So yes, I am open to learning their nguage. Shall we begin now?]”

Krvavy gnces to the side, looking out over the grotto. There is still a bit of sunlight filtering down through the skylights, but it’ll soon grow dark.

“[Sure. We have plenty of time.]”
