TBE Chapter 39

  Ezekiel went outside to check on Robert and Luke and he found them pying some sort of a tag game. He joined them in their py and their ughter rang in the forest like tinkling bells that would remind one of Christmas.

  Even though at first Ezekiel was wary of the responsibilities that came with taking care of two young boys, he found that his life was fuller with them around. His goals would have been so empty if it were just trying to become strong as soon as possible like one of those shonen protagonists in anime or Korean MCs in manhwas but with Robert and Luke around, his goals turned to making sure that the three of them could live their lives in this world happily.

  Sure, he wanted to have his adventure too but with the spells that came with his system, they could explore the world comfortably and probably safely too and it would be better if you had someone you could share the adventure with and with his two brothers around, there would always be someone there with him.

  After an hour of pying, the sun was already setting so they went to the washroom house to take a bath but Luke said that he wanted to poop first. Usually, he would have given his brothers their privacy but this time he wanted to stay with Luke to check how he did his number 2 since apparently, there was a need for him to teach the boy to avoid creating a huge mess.

  Ezekiel was fbbergasted to learn that the boys didn’t sit on the toilet but climbed it and squatted on it while they were doing their number two and that was the main reason why their excrement sometimes was all over the pce.

  He taught Luke and Robert to sit on the toilet and then he told Luke that once he was done, to call him so he could teach the boy what to do next. Ezekiel and Robert waited outside and when Luke was done, they both entered. Ezekiel taught the boy to flush the toilet then he taught him how to use the bidet that came with the toilet.

  Ezekiel also taught both boys that since they were removing their clothes when their pooping, it would be better that they use soap to clean their bottom once they were done to make sure that there were no lingering smells left behind.

  After that was done, he asked Luke to wash his hands with soap and water. Robert then went to do his number 2 next but he insisted that he now knew what to do so he drove Ezekiel and Luke outside. Once Robert was done, Ezekiel checked on everything then he asked the boys to shower.

  While Robert and Luke were showering, Ezekiel secretly cleaned the toilet, and the boys’ clothes using the Prestidigitation spell but he knew that he should not be so meticulous because one couldn’t afford to become a germaphobe in a medieval world setting. Although, with his access to spells maybe he could afford to be one.

  After they were all done showering, they all went to the dining room to eat dinner. Robert and Luke requested for the birthday food and Luke requested that the birthday song be sung again. The boy also requested for the small candles to be put on the cake again so he could make a wish and since it was still Luke’s birthday, Ezekiel indulged the boy’s request.

  After dinner, they all went to the bedroom to prepare to sleep. Ezekiel made sure to cast the spells that he needed to cast like renewing the Galder’s Tower spell, the Mage Armor for the three of them, and the Arm Spell that would notify him if there were any intruders.

  Yuki Onna was still outside though guarding them so that was an added protection as well. Ezekiel then remembered one particur spell called Tiny Servants so he immediately checked the spell description. The description wasn’t enough for him so he checked the internet regarding the uses of Tiny Servant and he was fbbergasted to learn that the spell was a bit overpowered.

  He could probably use the servant as a power tool in wood crafting too. He could even create an army of them and command them to protect him and his brothers. The fact that with his system, Ezekiel only needed to wait four minutes before he could cast the spell again and the fact that the Tiny Servant would st for eight hours, it’s not a bit overpowered. It was truly powerful so he immediately purchased it.

  Ezekiel pnned to experiment with the spell tomorrow but for now, he tucked his brothers in and read them a bedtime story.

  “Why do you know so many stories?” Robert asked.

  “It's because I’m a wizard. The stories came from where my magic comes from.”

  “Are we going to become wizards too someday?”

  “I don’t know. I didn’t know how I became a wizard but I imagine that anything is possible in this world.”

  Ezekiel then continued telling Robert and Luke their bedtime story and after a while they were asleep.

  The next day, Ezekiel woke up earlier than his brothers. He renewed the Galder’s Tower spell to make sure that their house suddenly wouldn’t disappear but honestly, he didn’t even have to worry too much since one of the best features of his system browser was that in the first tab where the search bar and the character panel were located, there was a timer for all the current running spells in the background and even if worse comes to worst that the Galder’s Tower houses disappeared, it would be easy enough to cast it again since the things inside that weren’t a part of the spell like their clothes, kitchen utensils and his woodworking tools would just fell on the ground. He would just gather them and cast the spell again.

  At first, Ezekiel wanted to make sure that the Galder’s Tower spell would not pse because if it were in existence for one year, the spell would become permanent but there was a chance that he and his brothers would not stay in this vilge for more than a year.

  Ezekiel wanted to stay since he really was too young and he and his brothers were too small to go off gallivanting all over the nds but he couldn’t predict what could happen in the future.

  He went to the dining room and retrieved one of the rger pieces of firewood from his 4th tab space. He wanted to make even and smooth pnks of wood that he could use to create small wood crafts so he would cut the ends of the wood and use and hand pner to smoothen the wood evenly.

  Ezekiel used a hand saw to create even edges that were at the end of the wood then started using the hand pner. He was using his Mage Hand spell to process the wood and he felt like he was learning to manipute the hand tools expertly using the spell. After using the hand pner, he needed to cut the wood again to remove the jagged edges and soon he had a rge rectangur pnk. He further smoothed it using sandpaper.

  Honestly, it would be easier if he purchased the wood pnks from his system shopping site but it felt incredibly rewarding to create something with his hands. Well, with his hands using his Mage Hand spell. Because he was using a spell, he didn’t feel tired at all and the wooden pnk was made only after 20 minutes.

  He was about to do a second wooden pnk when Robert and Luke opened the door to the dining room.

  “We’re hungry! Can we eat Luke’s birthday cake?” Robert asked while their youngest brother nodded.

  “But it’s no longer Luke’s birthday!” Ezekiel protested.

  When he saw that Luke became sad and Robert pouted, he hugged both of his brothers and said he was just kidding and he served them their cake, baked mac, chicken poppers, and fruit sad plus milk spelled to taste like chocote milk. Luke reminded him that they hadn’t had their vitamins yet so he ughingly gave them their vitamins.

  While they were eating, Ezekiel observed his brothers and was happy to note that even though only a few days had passed, they were already filling out and beginning to look healthy. He knew that in a month or two of healthy eating, frequent bathing, and regur exercise in the form of pying since now they had the energy to py they would all look like healthy kids.

  Ezekiel just wished that it were early enough in their puberty that all three of them wouldn’t have stunted growth. He wanted to have a least a regur man’s height. He wished his brothers would be taller so it would probably be best if he read more about the best nutrition he could provide to them.

  After breakfast, he cleaned his brothers and their clothes using the Prestidigitation spell since he didn’t want them to spend a long time in the washroom then he told them to get ready and get their bags from the bedroom since they would go to Mr. Duvon’s house. The kids ran off to get their backpacks while Ezekiel went to the stable to get Prince Charming.

  He cleaned the stable and Prince Charming using his favorite cleaning spell then water and fed the donkey. While Prince Charming was eating, he renewed the Galder’s Tower spell as well as the Mage Armor spell on the three of them when his two brothers arrived then he hitched the donkey to the cart and they went on their merry way toward Mr. Duvon’s house.
