Chapter 167: Motorcycle Racing

Du Ming muttered to himself as he followed that group of young people into a bar.

This bar is located next to the university and is aimed at a crowd of college students, with most people in the bar being young faces.

Du Ming, although not very old in age, has been through many years of war experience, making his entire demeanor quite mature, with a hint of melancholy. He still wore the expensive suit he had on during work hours that day, and when he didn't speak, he looked serious and out of place in this bar's atmosphere.

Bai Yihena and a group of people had already found a table to sit down at, laughing loudly. Du Ming walked directly over and said to Bai Yihena, "Hello, little girl, are you Bai Yihena?"

Everyone at the table was stunned for a moment, looked up at Du Ming, and Bai Yihuo frowned and said, "Me? Who are you?"

Du Ming said, "I am a friend of your sister Bai Mei Gui. My name is Du Ming. She asked me to pick you up. Has she ever mentioned it to you? Didn't you agree to go to her house tonight?"

Bai Yi was taken aback for a moment, then said nonchalantly, "Oh, yeah, she did say something about someone named Du coming to pick me up this afternoon, but I forgot about it. Never mind, we'll talk about it next time."

Du Mingxin said that if it were usual, he would have left long ago, but since Bai Meigui had asked him to come, he had to help her all the way and must bring this little girl back home.

Du Ming said patiently, "This matter was settled today, your sister asked me to pick you up, I've come all the way here, so you have to go with me."

"Hey, mister," a young man with multicolored hair next to Bai Yihuo shouted in dissatisfaction, "who are you, why are you interfering so much? If Yihuo said no, then hurry up and leave, what's the point of staying here?"

Du Ming raised an eyebrow, what? I'm not even thirty years old yet and I've become a big uncle? Are young people nowadays so arrogant?

"Ah, yes, I just don't want to go, what can you do about it?"

Du Ming twitched the corner of his mouth, looked around at the people at the table, who were all dressed in a rebellious style, and roughly understood what Bai Mei meant by "rebellious girl". He smiled slyly at Bai Yihuo and said, "You don't want to go? Then you can't blame me for using some special methods."

The boys at the same table were enraged when they heard this, and one of them slapped the table and stood up, "Hey mister! What do you mean?!"

Several boys looked Du Ming up and down for a while, sneering and saying, "Look at you, you're obviously the kind of person who can only talk but not fight, dressed in a suit and tie, do you know how to fight? Do you need special moves?"

Du Ming was wearing high-end suits and looked very elegant, not like someone who would use "special means".

Du Ming smiled calmly and made eye contact with several boys, "Don't you believe me? Want to try it?"

Those boys were infuriated by Du Ming's attitude, glaring with their eyes wide open and shouting loudly, "You little brat, are you looking for a fight? Do we need to teach you a lesson?"

At this time, Bai Yihuo suddenly said, "Forget it, don't bother with him. He's a friend of my sister's, and it wouldn't be good if you hurt him."

Du Ming was taken aback by the words, looked at Bai Yihuo for a moment, and thought to himself: although he was not afraid of these few ignorant young thugs, this little girl really wanted to protect him with all her heart, and her intentions were good, but she had unfortunately gotten mixed up with a group of people who didn't know any better.

Those boys rushed towards Yihuo and shouted, "Yihuo, what do you mean? Are you really going to listen to this guy?"

"Of course not," said Bai Yihe, "but we won't bully him either. Hey, that Du whatever, you want me to listen to you? Then according to the rules, you have to beat my friend first."

Du Ming thought it would be easier to just fight, anyway these few young boys could all be knocked down with just two moves.

But thinking about it, Bai Yihuo is also a result of being careless in making friends. She can take this opportunity to let her know that the cool and awesome friends she thinks are actually not that capable.

"So Du Ming said, 'Won against your friend? What did you win?'"

Bai Yihe looked at her companions and said to Du Ming, "Do you dare to compete with them in motorcycle racing? If you win, I'll listen to you obediently."

Du Ming curled his lips and said, "Alright, what you said, that's better than a motorcycle."

Bai Yihe's companions all burst out laughing, with ridicule clearly written on their faces. Someone even whistled and said, "Hey, can you ride a motorcycle?"

Du Ming said calmly, "I say I can compare because I can compare. How about you, do you have a motorcycle?"

A boy with bright red hair said, "Of course there is, follow me!"

Everyone at that table stood up and crowded out of the bar, some were going to compete with Du Ming, while others just came out to watch the excitement.

There were many motorcycles parked at the entrance of the bar, all ridden by young people who came to drink inside.

Hong pointed at several of the cars and said, "These are all our cars, you pick one."

Du Ming glanced at several cars, estimated the configuration in his heart, and thought that these kids were playing well, not bad, so he casually chose one to sit on.

Du Ming hasn't ridden a motorcycle for a long time. The last time he rode a motorcycle was abroad, racing with a brother as a bet. Now, once he sits on the motorcycle, he starts to miss his beloved motorcycle that he modified by himself.

Bai Yina and her group discussed for a while, then three representatives came out, got on the remaining motorcycles, and one of them said, "We'll start from here, circle around Donghai University, and end back here. Whoever comes back first wins. How about it?"

Donghai University covers a large area, and at this time it is rush hour with many people commuting to and from work. The roads around the school are congested with traffic, making it challenging for motorcycles to navigate through.

Du Ming nodded, and someone from the crowd shouted at him, "Hey, old man! You'd better not show off! If there's a car accident later, it won't be good!"

"Yeah," another one said with undisguised ridicule, "people like you should just go squeeze on the bus or subway, and don't participate in this kind of game competition."

Du Ming completely ignored them and turned the car's head in the same direction as the few people who were participating in the competition, one of whom shouted, "Little Cao! Come be our referee and shout 'start'!"

"Alright," Little Cao responded, emerging from the crowd of onlookers and standing beside the four people's motorcycles. He shouted loudly, "One, two, three, start!"
