Tianxiu finally finished recounting the origins of the Asura css. After a deep breath, his expression grew solemn as he decred, “I, Tianxiu, 22nd inheritor of the Asura legacy, ask you this with the utmost sincerity: Are you willing to inherit the power of Asura, to carry its might, and to uphold its name?”
“I’m willing!” Feng Xiao answered, though inwardly he rolled his eyes at the overly dramatic speech. Still, a flicker of anticipation rose within him.
“Good!” Tianxiu’s face flushed with emotion. “Then I, Tianxiu, in the name of Asura, officially pass the power of Asura to the 23rd inheritor—Feng Hun.”
A dark red aura burst from Tianxiu’s body, gradually converging at his fingertip under his control. It formed into a dense, ominous sphere of energy.
From the orb radiated waves of violence, bloodlust, and resentment—pure negativity. Tianxiu remained still, calmly chanting an incantation. Then suddenly, with a swift motion, he pressed the orb against Feng Xiao’s forehead.
With a thunderous roar inside his head, Feng Xiao’s consciousness wavered. His vision blurred… and when it cleared again, what he saw made his heart shudder and his body tremble uncontrolbly.
It was a sea of blood—and endless sughter.
A man wielding a massive sword, eyes glowing red, moved like a demon god born from the depths of hell. He sughtered everything in his path. Enemies fell like leaves in a storm, their blood staining both his sword and clothes. Yet his face remained calm, emotionless, as if reaping lives was as ordinary as breathing.
Roga.
No one could count how many he killed, or how long he had been killing. The ground had turned into a bloody ocean, the sky painted crimson. The air was filled with the stench of blood. And through it all, those eyes remained eerily calm. Only when no more life remained around him did he finally stop—his sword still in hand, standing alone like a blood-drenched statue amidst the mountain of mangled corpses. He stood there, lost, with nowhere left to go and no one left to kill.
So… this is Asura? Feng Xiao’s heart trembled. He had always fancied himself an “Asura,” but compared to the real thing, he was a joke—a pitiful imitation.
Ding! Congratutions, pyer Feng Hun, you have successfully changed css to the Unique Hidden Css: Asura. Reputation +50. HP +200, MP +200, ATK +100. All four base attributes +20. All elemental resistances +10%. Luck +3.
Ding! Congratutions, pyer Feng Hun, you are the first in the world to complete a css transfer. Bonus reward: Reputation +200, Gold +1000.
The system notification jolted Feng Xiao out of his daze. He looked over at Tianxiu, who was now pale as a sheet. Tianxiu gave him a knowing nod—every new Asura had to first understand what it truly meant to bear that title.
Tianxiu’s body began to sway, looking as though he might colpse at any moment. Touched, Feng Xiao hurried forward to support him. This old man… he really gave everything he had to help me change css...
“Ugh, so tired… After passing on the Asura legacy, I won’t be able to use its power for three minutes,” Tianxiu groaned.
Feng Xiao’s hand slipped. With a thud, Tianxiu fell ft on his back.
“…I thought the old guy had sacrificed all his power. Turns out I got emotional for nothing.”
“Damn it, you ungrateful brat! Ever heard of respecting your elders? These old bones aren’t made for taking falls like that!” Tianxiu jumped up, brushing the dust off himself, then waved dismissively. “Whatever, I won’t hold it against you. I've waited a thousand years for this moment—finally, I can set out to explore the world of Tianlong. I can't wait another second! I’m leaving now... but here, take this!”
He shoved a scroll and a conch shell into Feng Xiao’s hands. “This map was drawn by the previous Asura during his journey across Tianlong Continent. I dare say it’s the most complete one out there. Should help you out on your adventures. And this conch—use it to contact me if you really need to. But only for emergencies, got it? If you bug me for nonsense, I’ll take it back!”
He cpped Feng Xiao’s shoulder and said seriously, “Asura are warriors who follow their instincts. Proud, unyielding, and unbound by worldly rules. But that doesn’t mean you can bully the weak—or allow yourself to be bullied. If you do either, you disgrace the name of Asura.”
“One more thing. The Six-Star Transfer Scroll you used? It was acquired by the 21st Asura at the cost of his life. I don’t want to see that legacy disgraced. From now on, no matter how hard it gets, I expect you to only choose hidden csses.”
“I understand, Master Tianxiu!” Feng Xiao replied solemnly, now addressing him with genuine respect.
Tianxiu let out a hearty ugh. “Now that’s more like it! Hahaha… I’m off!”
With that, he turned and left without even saying goodbye to the five elder NPCs standing nearby.
…
“Crap!” Feng Xiao suddenly smacked his forehead and shouted, “Wait, Master Tianxiu! Come back!”
“What is it, brat? Missing me already? Haha… Don’t worry, we’ll meet again someday,” Tianxiu’s voice echoed from far away.
“My Asura Illusion! You forgot to give me my Asura Illusion skill!”
A bck mask came flying from the distance, smacking Feng Xiao right in the face, followed by an annoyed yell: “You ungrateful little punk! All you care about is my stuff—”
Feng Xiao fumbled to catch the mask just in time. A signature violet glow—unique to divine artifacts—radiated from it. He nearly screamed in excitement. “An artifact! It really is an artifact!” Wasting no time, he immediately checked the item’s attributes.
And the first stat almost made his soul leave his body:
HP +100%!
Feng Xiao was moved to tears. With this bonus, his HP would put even tank-css shield warriors of the same level to shame! He could go shirtless and still solo a boss!
Asura IllusionType: Divine Artifact EquipmentRequirement: Asura Css

Max HP +100%
Max MP +100%
All four base stats + (Level × 3)
Movement Speed +10
Instant Death Rate +3%
Negative Status Resistance +30%

Skills:
Soul Absorption (Passive): Automatically absorbs the souls of sin humanoid enemies, sealing them within the mask. Max capacity: 50 souls.

Asura Netherwave: Active skill. Unleashes a wave of nether energy, inflicting all nearby enemies with one or more negative statuses (Poison, Blind, Fear, Weaken, Curse, Confuse, Stun, Paralysis, Freeze, Sleep, Petrify). Duration depends on enemy stats. MP cost: 300. Range = Pyer Level ÷ 2. Usable twice per day.
Feng Xiao pinched his cheek hard to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. These stats… were just absurd.
“A divine artifact! This—this is what a divine artifact should be! Whoever said that having just one artifact is enough to dominate Reincarnation—that guy was absolutely right, no cap!”
“But what’s this ‘Death Attribute’ thing?” Feng Xiao muttered to himself. Among the seven elemental resistances listed in the game, there was no such thing as a “death” element. And among the major mage csses, there were none based on death either.
As for the ?3 to Luck? Feng Xiao completely ignored it. With all the insane bonuses this item gave, that tiny drawback wasn’t even worth a second thought.
Of course, someone like Feng Xiao—whose Luck stat was already above 10—had no idea how devastating that stat could be to regur pyers. For the average pyer, whose Luck hovered between 1 and 5, a ?3 could drop it to 0 or even into the negatives. Zero Luck meant monsters would stop dropping gear, hidden quests would never trigger again... and negative Luck?
Negative Luck was pure suffering. Critical hits would nd on you constantly, you’d fall into traps left and right, hidden quests would always turn out to be bait, you might even choke on potions—and get randomly ganked by other pyers for no reason at all.
Yeah... for everyone else, Luck ?3 was practically a death sentence. But for Feng Xiao?
He didn’t give a damn.
