  When Luffy and others arrived, Shanks and others were already at the Party Bar. The redhead captain was happily chatting with Makino, the bartender and owner.

  Luffy walked in with Uta, followed by Ann and Sabo.

  "Luffy, you are back early today." Makino saw Luffy and quickly called him with a smile. Her eyes then nded on Ann and Sabo and she greeted them too.

  "Ah, you als Ann and Sabo too. How are you two doing?"

  "We are doing great, Sister Makino. Do you need any help around the pce?" Sabo bowed to Makino and quickly asked politely.

  Ann Makino and smiled. "We have grown even more strong after training, Sister Makino. If you need help then just say it, we lift heavy stuff too."

  "Hehe... such a cutey." Makino giggled and asked them to take a seat.

  Luffy brought Uta to Shanks and said to him. "Shanks, how you be so reckless? Why do you let Uta go to the forest all alone? You know that it is not safe!"

  "Uh?" Shanks was startled by getting scolded by Luffy and then looked at Uta, asking in shock.

  "Uta went to the forest? When?"

  Uta felt her heart skipping a beat as she looked at Luffy lovingly. 'Luffy, he is... angry for me. He is the best!'

  Luffy was totally unaware of Uta's ihoughts. He stared at him a his facial muscles twitg. He could only sigh and grumble at the ignorance of the redhead captain.

  "Shanks, she is still a child and is ignorant. It is your responsibility to keep an eye on her."

  "Yeah. I am sorry." Shanks resembled a poor child who had made a mistake and apologized quickly.

  Benn and other crew members watched Shanks's poor appearand ughed.

  "Hahaha... poor captain!"

  "He got scolded by a child!"

  "I have never seen captain so down before."

  "Me too."

  Luffy gred at them and scolded them too. "What is so funny! Shanks is careless and an idiot but you guys look after Uta. What did you do? You all are idiots! If my grandpa was here, I would have let him beat all of you."

  Immediately everyourned silent and looked like Shanks, apologizing like little children.

  "We are sorry too!..."

  Only Benn Be chuckled and stared deeply at Luffy, finding the guy very likable.

  Ann and Dabo were speechless by everything that was happening in front of their eyes. They thought Shanks was strong but looking at his poor appearaer getting scolded, they could feel their facial muscles twitg, looking very disappointed.

  It only took two minutes for the previous joyful mood to be restored.

  Shanks and everyouro their inal cheerful personalities, ughing and partying happily.

  Shanks stared at Ann and his eyes sparkled with a knowing light and he smiled lightly. He reized Ann as his captain Roger's child a nostalgic.

  But he could not go and chat with the child just because of that.

  Luffy caught the ge in Shanks's rea and smiled lightly. He had finished his lunch with Uta, Ann, and Sabo and nning to return to training.

  But he still had to ask Shanks regarding the development of the advanced Armament Haki.

  "Hey Shanks, you know Armamant Haki, don't you?" Luffy looked aside at Shanks and asked.

  "Dahahah... of course. I do. But you know about it. So why ask?" Shanks titled his head and wondered.

  Luffy ched his hand into a fist and muttered. "Well, I am stu my training. you tell me about Ryo? I don't know why but I feel like I am missing something and I ot put my finger over it."

  "You know about Ryo?" Shanks was amazed and looked at Luffy in shock.

  Not only he but Benn Be and other officers also paused what they were doing and looked at Luffy with wide eyes.

  Luffy shrugged his shoulders. "I saa using it once. When I asked a sailor, he said it was Ryo. Acc to him, one harm the oppo by eling his Haki I to the oppo's body and hurting him from the inside."

  Luffy stared at his fist which was covered with a pitch-bck Haki and a reddish glow could be seen h around it.

  "I feel it. But somehow the more I feel I am close to it, the sed, it is the opposite. It is a really disturbing feeling."

  Shanks looked at the phenomenon and was shocked again. He raised his hand and pressed Luffy's head, rubbing his hair.

  "You little kid. You are a monster, no... You are an abomination! There are some strong people that I knoill feel ashamed if they see your progress. You are now even making me jealous too!"

  Shanks was not kidding at all. Luffy's talent was really pletely heaven-defying as he reached a stage that many people spent their lives over and have not even gotten close to.

  "So, will you teach me?" Luffy asked excitedly, his eyes staring at him.

  "Nope," Shanks shook his head. He stuck out his tongue and teased him. "Don't you just se a minute ago? Why would I teach you? Idiot!..."

  "You!..." Luffy was dumbfounded by Shanks's childish behavior. But being familiar with the redhead captain, he could only sigh and grit his teeth to plead with him.

  At this moment, Uta jumped oool and poi Shanks's face. "Hey, idiot Shanks. Stop teasing Luffy. Since you know it then teach her or else I will not talk with you again."

  "Ehh?"

  Now, it was Shanks's turn to be speechless as his smile froze on his face. He looked at his daughter in amazement to see her taking the other's side rather than her own father.

  Watg the iion caused Benn Be and everyoo ugh heartily at Shanks's predit.

  Luffy was also surprised by Uta's interje before he gave a thumbs-up to her. He knew with Uta taking his side, Shanks had no choice but to teach him what he wao learn.

  And sure enough, Shanks sighed i and promised to teach Ryo to Luffy.

  Luffy was also not a stingy person as he promised to cover Shanks's bill for wine and food.

  "Do you have money?" Shanks asked.

  "Nope." Luffy shook his head. He poi Shanks and said. "Once I learn Ryo. I will beat you up and exge you for your bounty to cover the bill."

  Pfft

  Just as he finished, a burst of ughter filled the entire bar with everyone ughiily.

  Shanks eechless for a few seds before joining in the fun too, ughing together.
