  Atop a giant tree, two young children had gathered. They seemed around 8-9 years old and were quite skinny. Their clothes were covered in dust but that didn't stop their eyes from shining with the hope of living their dreams.

  One of them had round eyes, a missing tooth, and short curly blond hair. He wore a rge bck top hat with a pair of blue goggles ed around it, a blue jacket with the sleeves rolled up, a cravat, and a pair of light blue shorts held up by a belt with an eborate flower-design buckle.

  The other one had jaw-length curly bck hair. He also sported childish freckles. The child was wearing a t-shirt with knee-length shorts and a bck elbow guard on his left arm.

  "Let's drop it all here," One of them said while putting down the bag he was holding.

  "Yes, we got quite a haul today too!" The other one smiled happily.

  "No. This is not enough. We need more moo buy a Pirate ship."

  "I know that. At least let me be happy for a moment, you bastard!"

  However, just at that moment, a pyful voice came from behind them startling the two youngsters.

  The two young children shuddered as the metal pipes slipped from their hands and slid dowree as the two of them instantly went on their knees, scared of the monster.

  His words dumbfouhe two of them as they looked at each other and grumbled. If not for him being strohahey might have jumped on him.

  "Anyway, what do you want from us, Luffy?" The blonde boy asked again.

  The bck-haired boy followed. "If you want to get your hands on our stuff, then don't even think about it. I will fight you to the death."

  "I... I am not a thief, okay?" Luffy pined before he crossed his arms in front of his chest and asked. "Aren't you going to introduce yourselves? Or should I call you Scradey Cats?"

  "You!..." The bck-haired guy ched his fist and grumbled with an annoyed face.

  "Hahaha... don't make her more angry. Anyway, My name is Sabo." The blonde boy scratched the side of his face.

  "Wait a minute!" Luffy quickly stopped him and tilted his head in fusion as he asked. "You just said 'her'... But isn't he a boy?"

  "Ahahaha..." Sabo listeo his words and ughed happily, c his stomach.

  Oher hand, the bck-haired young man grumbled in annoyance. He grabbed the colr of Luffy's shirt and roared angrily.

  "Why do you have a problem with that? So what if I am a girl? You dare to look down on me. I will beat your ass."

  "Ehh?"

  Now, it's Luffy's turn to be left fbbergasted. He could not believe it as he stared at him... ah no, her with an unbelievable expression.

  Luffy cursed inwardly while outside he regained his cool and apologized.

  Luffy smiled and waved his hand. "It's alright. I feel that she has no bad iions."Even though he said that but he still kept a few words a secret, his brows were locked together.

  Luffy and Sabo chatted as the former learned everything about the two poor fellows who robbed others to gather money and had a beautiful dream of going on an adventure.

  Oher hand, Ann ran into the forest until she was at least dozens of meters away. She was finally away from Luffy and gasped for breath, clearly tired from tinuously running.

  'Why? Why?... Why am I feeling so weird? This... This is not possible. How I...? What is this feeling? My chest... It is tightening so hard... Am I going to die? Is that bastard did something to me?!'

  At this moment, the jungle suddenly shook, and aremely huge saber-toothed tiger rushed out from ihe jungle.

  Ann was startled by the void turned her head around, only to break out in a cold sweat.

  "Oops! It's the saber-tooth tiger, the overlord of the forest, run!"

  She wao jump around and run away but no matter how fast she would run, she could not outrun the massive tiger.

  "Fuck!" She quickly climbed the tree while cursing loudly.

  However, before she could run away, something ued happened again.
