One hundred five

Even the paparazzi were confused by the amount of stuff they were bringing out. They were not too bothered because, in their line of work, they have seen stranger things. A lot more strange things than rich people buying stuff.

“Has anything come back on that license pte yet?” asked the cameraman.

“So far, all we’ve found is that the owner is an office babe. Nothing criminal, no records, not even a speeding or parking ticket. She had a fiendishly good wyer or she’s a saint. We’re still looking. So far, nothing.”

They were going to start looking into the car owner’s personal history as soon as they could. So far, there was absolutely nothing of note. It was very frustrating for people used to getting and then dishing that dirt on people. How were they supposed to make a living if people had no trash for their gossip magazines?! They were trying to make a living by throwing dirt around, how unfair was it to be such a clean person? It was unreasonable. They were nothing if not persistent. If they had to go back to their third grade and find that they cheated on a spelling test, they would find it and spread it around to everyone if they had to

“Keep looking, there is always something.” Too bad for the creeps, they were doomed to disappointment.

They followed Seulgi and crew to the apartment building, again, bound for disappointment at the closed garage in the sub-basement. So, they didn’t get to see Seulgi rush to get a cart to make carrying everything up easier.

Seulgi darted up the single flight of stairs, went to the security desk, fshed a smile, and got the cart without having to sign for it or anything. Technically they should have been reprimanded for not following the policy, but as it was the on duty supervisor who gave her the cart, no one would say anything. Once again, the Seulgi Effect is in action.

She smiled and waved to the guards as she entered the elevator. Again, the guards should have been reprimanded for everyone watching her at the elevator and not the front door, all of them smiling like idiots, but for two things, one the boss was there and participating, and two, Seulgi.

She sank to the garage level with the cart. Once the doors opened, she was momentarily blinded by the overhead lights, she took the cart to her car, popped the trunk, and then put the bags on the cart. She had help as Song-Hoon grabbed a few bags as well.

Jeong-Hui tried to help, but she was quickly, quietly, and efficiently shuffled off to the side by the other two. There were only eight bags, so there was not much to load, anyway. They trundled over to the elevator, got on, punched Seulgi’s floor, and rode up in companionable silence.

They deposited all the bags from the cart on the kitchen counter. She was opening the front door to take the cart back down to the security desk. When she opened the door, there was a guard there with a fist raised, ready to knock. They were both surprised to see each other at that moment.

He ughed first and said that he was there to retrieve the cart so she would not have to go back down. She ughed in startlement too and thanked the guard for gathering the cart. She made a mental note to make some cookies and bring some to the guard station for all the help they had ever given her. Good thing that she is good at cookies, despite all of the other 'interesting' dishes she could make.

Seulgi surprised the Parents by coming back so quickly. She expined that the guard took the trolley. None of them thought to ask how the guards knew that she had already gotten up to her apartment.

Which was a good thing because the guards would never admit to watching her on the security cameras. It actually was their job to watch people on the security cameras, but they still felt kind of guilty watching Seulgi because it was not one hundred percent purely job reted for the Super Seulgi Security team when they watched her. No one was allowed to creep on her. The one person who did got beaten up and fired. But, still, no one could entirely resent being the ones to have to watch her on the cameras.

By the time she got back to the kitchen, everything was out of the bags and on the counters. Things were being quickly and effortlessly put away and organized all at the same time. Seulgi was no slouch, but she had nothing on these two. They didn’t even pause when she surprised them by being back so early. Even all of her things were already in the fridge or freezer.

Seulgi blinked at them. They blinked at her. Suki didn’t care.

Suki jumped from the back of the couch to the counter where everyone was staring at each other. Being that the Prima Donna was not currently the center of attention, she took her rightful pce and demanded dinner. This woke everyone from their stupor and everyone got moving again.

Princess fed, grocery and other items put away, drinks acquired, everyone was in the living room, comfortably enthroned wherever they decided to sit. The only one who had a problem was Suki. She was torn on who to sit with, mom or grandmother? She decided with the older dy as she was new and still paying her dues to be staying there.

For Jeong-Hui, this was hardly a burden. Both Seulgi and Song-Hoon enjoyed the antics of these two. Especially when they started talking to each other. He was amused. She was surprised that Jeong-Hui could speak Suki.

This went on for a pleasant while until people started yawning. Everyone excused themselves and started going to bed. Before dispersing, Seulgi reminded them that they would be leaving at 6:30 am to get to the hospital to spell Jackson by 7 am.

The Parents acknowledged this and they split up. Suki trotted after Seulgi and they started preparations to go to bed. They would need to get some good sleep for tomorrow’s activities. It was bound to be busy.
