Ryke was lucky. Born a blacksmith’s son, curious, eager and friendly; he had everything he ever needed. Food was put on the table, friends he had fun with, a promising future. Except Ryke wanted to leave his hometown of Jekan, explore the endless desert outside of it and experience things only a Centurion could.
